Heat and mass transfer in a falling film vertical in-tube absorber was studied experimentally with LiBr aqueous solution. The presented results include the effect of solution flow rate, solution subcooling and cooling water temperature on the absorption in a smooth copper tube 16.05 mm I.D. and 400 mm long. The experimental data in the previous report for a 1200-mm-long tube was also re-examined and compared. It was demonstrated by the observation of the flow in the tube that the break down of the liquid film into rivulets leads to deterioration of heat and mass transfer at lower film Reynolds number or in longer tubes. An attempt to evaluate physically acceptable heat and mass transfer coefficients that are defined with estimated temperature and concentration at the vapor–liquid interface was also presented.  相似文献

Effects of cyanide (CN) treatment with hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) films have been investigated. The decrease of ΔV/V was observed in cyanide treated a-Si:H films and the successive thermal annealing at 200°C after CN treatment induced the further reduction of the ΔV/V. XPS spectra show the indirect evidence that the cyanide species is present within 10 nm from the hydrogenated amorphous silicon surface. The results of CN treatment with a-Si:H solar cells are demonstrated.  相似文献

We have considered the behavior of the conductivity or the dielectric function of the one-dimensional (1-D) quantum sine-Gordon system (g2 = 4) for two models of impurities. We have used a Fermi-Bose relation and a self consistent t-matrix approximation. As for the conductivity at zero temperature, it appears when the concentration of impurities becomes larger than the critical concentration of impurities. It shows the linear increase near the critical concentration. As for the dielectric constant, its behavior is model dependent. We have numerically calculated the frequency dependence of the conductivity at zero temperature. The real part shows the second order increase near the critical frequency. The imaginary part shows the linear decrease from the origin.  相似文献

In this paper, we treat fuzzy linear programming problems with uncertain parameters whose ranges are specified as fuzzy polytopes. The problem is formulated based on fractile optimization model using a necessity measure. It is shown that the problem can be reduced to a semi-infinite linear programming problem and that a solution algorithm based on a relaxation procedure can be applied. A simple numerical example is given to illustrate the solution procedure. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

Cloud cover based solar radiation models are relatively simple and convenient as the models require the input of cloud cover data which are mostly available from the meteorological stations. In this study, the performance of a cloud cover based solar radiation model (Kasten–Czeplak model) with original or locally fitted coefficients was evaluated for estimating the hourly global solar radiation for four different locations in Western Canada. The average value of R2, mean bias error, and root mean square error are 0.69, ?61.6, and 157.9?W?m?2, respectively, for the model with original coefficients, whereas 0.82, 4.4, 107.1?W?m?2 with locally fitted coefficients. Results show that the Kasten–Czeplak model with locally fitted coefficients satisfactorily estimated the hourly solar radiation of four different locations in Western Canada. Also, the results indicate that the model with original coefficients has very limited accuracy under intermediate cloud cover conditions.  相似文献

Greenhouses in northern climates require a large amount of supplemental heating for growing crops in winter seasons, so energy‐efficient design of greenhouses based on local climate is important to minimize the heating demand. In this study, greenhouse design parameters including shape, orientation, the angle of the roof, and width of the span have been studied for the conceptual design of conventional greenhouses for Canadian Prairies using a heating simulation model. Five different shapes of greenhouses including even‐span, uneven‐span, modified arch, vinery, and quonset shape have been selected for the study. The simulation results proved that the uneven‐span gable roof shape receives the highest solar radiation, whereas the quonset shape receives the lowest solar radiation. However, the quonset shape greenhouse requires about 7.6% less annual heating as compared to the gable roof greenhouse, but the quonset would not be adopted as multispan greenhouses. Therefore, the gable roof greenhouse is considered as energy efficient for the multispan gutter connected greenhouses whereas quonset shape as a free‐standing single‐span greenhouses. In high northern latitudes, the greenhouse with east‐west orientation is more energy efficient from heating and cooling point of view when the length‐width ratio of the greenhouse is more than 1. The heating energy saving potential of the large span width in single‐span greenhouses is relatively higher as compared to the multispan greenhouses.  相似文献

This article describes a robot positioning task with respect to a static target by visual servoing. The vision system is uncalibrated, and the kinematic model of the robot may be totally unknown. The displacements of the robot at joint level are generated in real time in order to minimize the objective function. The objective function includes the quadratic error between the current and the desired target images. A simplex method is used to minimize the objective function, and a Newton-like method is also used near convergence. We successfully validated this method with simulations under the graphic library OpenGL.
