Carbodithioate esters are important functional organosulfur compounds widely used in diverse fields such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and material sciences. Common preparative methods include reaction of alkyl halides, carbon disulfide and bases under both metal-free and metal-catalyzed conditions. However, organyl thiocyanates have not been previously explored, possibly because of their conversion to organyl disulfides under basic conditions. Here, we report an efficient and practical method for the preparation of libraries of carbodithioate esters from organyl thiocyanates by reacting with cyclic amine-based dithiocarbamic acid salts in water. The protocol is found to be applicable in general to various thiocyanates such as benzyl/aroyl methyl/cinnamyl and so on. Other notable features include no by-products such as disulfides, metal- and alkali-free, aqueous conditions, and finally easy and near-quantitative formation of cyclic amine-based dithiocarbamic acid salt as a stable alternative reagent.  相似文献

In this investigation, the flow behaviour of modified 9Cr–1Mo steel at elevated temperatures is reported. To understand the flow behaviour of the steel, tensile tests were performed at nominal strain rate of 3 × 10?3 s?1 and temperatures in the range of 300–823 K. The yield strength and ultimate tensile strength were found to decrease with increase in temperature with a plateau in a intermediate temperature regime (523–673 K). Serrations were also observed in the tensile curve at intermediate temperatures which caused plateau/peak in tensile behaviour of material and was a typical manifestation of dynamic strain ageing. An attempt was made to represent the flow behaviour of the material using different constitutive equations viz., Hollomon, Ludwik, Swift, Ludwigson and Voce. It was observed that the Voce equation could describe the experimental flow curve at different temperatures quite well. Instantaneous work hardening rate with respect to flow stress exhibited two stages of hardening especially at relatively lower temperatures.  相似文献

Extensive creep cavitation in Ti, Nb and Cu containing precipitation hardened austenitic steels was found to limit the usefulness of deformation resistance to increase long-term creep rupture strength. The steels were microalloyed with boron and cerium that resulted in increase in creep rupture strength and ductility of the steels significantly. Grain boundary sliding and creep cavity nucleation and growth in the steels were suppressed greatly on microalloying. Auger spectroscopic analysis revealed the segregation of boron instead of sulfur on cavity surface and the absence of sulfur contamination of grain boundary upon the microalloying. Suppression of creep cavitation through the control of trace elements segregation along with the precipitation hardening increased the creep rupture strength of austenitic stainless steels.  相似文献

In this work, we report a green method for the synthesis of gold nanoparticles (GNP) using the aqueous extract of red tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum). We believe that citric acid and ascorbic acid present in tomato juice are responsible for the reduction of gold ions. This biosynthesized GNP in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate has been used as a colorimetric sensor to detect and estimate the pesticide, methyl parathion. The GNP in the presence of methyl parathion shows a new peak at 400 nm due to the formation of 4-nitrophenolate ion by catalytic hydrolysis of methyl parathion in alkaline medium. A calibration curve between the absorption coefficients of the 400-nm peak versus the concentration of the pesticide allows the quantitative estimation of the 4-nitrophenolate ion, thereby enabling indirect estimation of methyl parathion present in the system.  相似文献

We propose two new comprehensive schemes for designing prototype-based classifiers. The scheme addresses all major issues (number of prototypes, generation of prototypes, and utilization of the prototypes) involved in the design of a prototype-based classifier. First we use Kohonen's self-organizing feature map (SOFM) algorithm to produce a minimum number (equal to the number of classes) of initial prototypes. Then we use a dynamic prototype generation and tuning algorithm (DYNAGEN) involving merging, splitting, deleting, and retraining of the prototypes to generate an adequate number of useful prototypes. These prototypes are used to design a "1 nearest multiple prototype (1-NMP)" classifier. Though the classifier performs quite well, it cannot reasonably deal with large variation of variance among the data from different classes. To overcome this deficiency we design a "1 most similar prototype (1-MSP)" classifier. We use the prototypes generated by the SOFM-based DYNAGEN algorithm and associate with each of them a zone of influence. A norm (Euclidean)-induced similarity measure is used for this. The prototypes and their zones of influence are fine-tuned by minimizing an error function. Both classifiers are trained and tested using several data sets, and a consistent improvement in performance of the latter over the former has been observed. This paper presents a new constructive heuristic, based on the principle of job insertion, for minimizing makespan in no-wait permutation flow shop scheduling problems. Empirical results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed approach over four of the best-known methods in the literature. Analytical expressions for the total number of partial and complete sequences generated by the algorithms are derived. Statistical tests of significance substantiate the improvement in solution quality.  相似文献

Modified 9Cr-1Mo ferritic steel (T91/P91) has been subjected to a series of heat treatments consisting of soaking for 5 minutes at the selected temperatures, starting from the α-phase region (1073 K) to the γ + δ-phase region (1623 K), followed by oil quenching. Hardness measurements, microstructural features, and grain-size measurements by the linear-intercept method have been used for correlating them with the ultrasonic parameters. Ultrasonic velocity and attenuation measurements, and spectral analysis of the first backwall echo have been used for characterization of the microstructures obtained by various heat treatments. As the soaking temperature increased above Ac 1, the ultrasonic velocity decreased because of the increase in the volume fraction of martensite in the structure. There were sharp changes in the ultrasonic velocities corresponding to the two critical temperatures, Ac 1 and Ac 3. Ultrasonic longitudinal- and shear-wave velocities were found to be useful in identifying the Ac 1 and Ac 3 temperatures and for the determination of hardness in the intercritical region. However, ultrasonic attenuation and spectral analysis of the first backwall echo were found to be useful to characterize the variation in the prior-austenitic grain size and formation of δ ferrite above the Ac 4 temperature. The scattering coefficients have been experimentally determined for various microstructures and compared with the theoretically calculated value of the scattering coefficients for iron reported in literature.  相似文献
