Low-resistance standard measures of resistance

The construction and results of an investigation of lowresistance measures of electrical resistance (10 su–1), 1 ) for use in dc and ac circuits are described. VerifyThis 2015

VerifyThis 2015 was a one-day program verification competition which took place on April 12th, 2015 in London, UK, as part of the European Joint Conferences on Theory and Practice of Software (ETAPS 2015). It was the fourth instalment in the VerifyThis competition series. This article provides an overview of the VerifyThis 2015 event, the challenges that were posed during the competition, and a high-level overview of the solutions to these challenges. It concludes with the results of the competition and some ideas and thoughts for future instalments of VerifyThis.     

Dynamic Loading in High-Speed Ball Bearings

The numerical dynamic model of a ball-bearing with angular contact and oil lubricant, which allows to study movement of the bearing parts, having six degrees of freedom, is developed. The general parameters, characterizing loading of bearing retainer, are analyzed. The influence of general structural parameters of several ball-bearings on in-service operation conditions of their retainers is analyzed.     

Parallel solution of creep and heat-conduction problems by means of nonlinear generalized models

A method of parallel solution of the steady creep and heat-conduction problems is proposed, on the basis of decomposition of the structure and approximate nonlinear models of the deformation of the structural components. An ANSYS program implements this method. Calculations confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
