Calcium chloride is an essential calcium channel agonist which plays an important role in the contraction of muscles by triggering calcium channel. First time hypothesized about its role in the treatment of GER (gastro-esophageal reflux) and vomiting disorder due to its local action. There are two objectives covered in this study as first, the development and optimization of floating formulation of calcium chloride and another objective was to evaluate optimized formulation through gamma scintigraphy in human subjects. Gastro retentive formulation of calcium chloride was prepared by direct compression method. Thirteen tablet formulations were designed with the help of sodium chloride, HPMC-K4M, and carbopol-934 along with effervescing agent sodium bicarbonate and citric acid. Formulation (F8) fitted best for Korsmeyer–Peppas equation with an R2 value of 0.993. The optimized formulation was radiolabelled with 99mTc-99?m pertechnetate for its evaluation by gamma scintigraphy. Gastric retention (6?h) was evaluated by gamma scintigraphy in healthy human subjects and efficacy of present formulation confirmed in GER positive human subjects. Gamma scintigraphy results indicated its usefulness in order to manage GERD. Stability studies of the developed formulation were carried out as per ICH guidelines for region IV and found out to be stable for 24?months.  相似文献

Low bandgap lead-tin halide perovskites are predicted to be candidates to maximize the performance of single junction and tandem solar cells based on metal halide perovskites. In spite of the tremendous progress in lab-scale device efficiency, devices fabricated with scalable techniques fail to reach the same efficiencies, which hinder their potential industrialization. Herein, a method is proposed that involves a template of a 2D perovskite deposited with a scalable technique (blade coating), which is then converted in situ to form a highly crystalline 3D lead-tin perovskite. These templated grown films are alloyed with stoichiometric ratio and are highly oriented with the (l00) planes aligning parallel to the substrate. The low surface/volume ratio of the obtained single-crystal-like films contributes to their enhanced stability in different environments. Finally, the converted films are demonstrated as active layer for solar cells, opening up the opportunity to develop this scalable technique for the growth of highly crystalline hybrid halide perovskites for photovoltaic devices.  相似文献

Carrier transport and recombination mechanisms in Cu2O-ZnO heterojunction thin film solar cells were investigated through an analysis of their current-voltage characteristics in the dark and under various illumination intensities, as a function of temperature between 100 K and 295 K. The Cu2O-ZnO heterojunction solar cells were prepared by metal organic chemical vapor deposition of Cu2O on ZnO films sputtered on transparent conducting oxide coated glass substrates. Activation energies extracted from the temperature dependence of the J-V characteristics reveals that interface recombination is the dominant carrier transport mechanism. Tunneling across an interfacial barrier also plays an important role in current flow and a thin TiO2 buffer layer reduces tunneling. A high open circuit voltage at low temperature (~ 0.9 V at around 100 K) indicates that Cu2O-ZnO heterojunction solar cells have high potential as solar cells if the recombination and tunneling at the interface can be suppressed at room temperature.  相似文献
