Fetus-in-fetu with malignant recurrence

Fetus-in-fetu is an unusual condition in which a vertebrate fetus is enclosed within the abdomen of another fetus. These occurrences are usually benign. This report describes an instance of malignant recurrence after resection of a fetus-in-fetu.     

Diagnosis of hemostasis disorders in young children using turbidimetry

Practical application of turbidimetrical method for the diagnosis of haemostasis disorders in babies with acute intestinal infections (AII) is described. The results of plasma biochemical analysis show that disturbances in balance between coagulation and fibrinolytic systems takes place in patients with this pathology. The correlation between biochemical parameters and clinical characteristics is observed. As follows from our data, the phase of the haemostasis disorders in babies with AII does not depend on etiology of the disease, but indicates its severity.     

Use of biocompatible calcium-phosphate glass ceramic BGC in surgical treatment of maxillary cysts

The possibility of using the granulated form of biocompatible material made of calcium-phosphate glass ceramic BGC for treatment of maxillary cysts was demonstrated.     

Inheritance of male hybrid sterility in the house musk shrew (Suncus murinus, Insectivora, Soricidae)

Two geographic races of the house musk shrew (Suncus murinus) were crossed and intercrossed in the laboratory. Many cases of male sterility were detected among the hybrids. Segregation analysis of the pedigree data showed that the inheritance of male sterility in interracial hybrids of S. murinus can be described within the framework of monogene polyallele model with sterility of a single allele combination. This model is similar if not identical to that proposed by Dobzhansky and Muller.

程序设计类课程是培养学生逻辑编程能力的基本课程之一,但目前普遍反映出学生对此类课程的学习兴趣不浓,对程序设计与实现的逻辑思维混乱不清,学习效果较差。如何脱离编程语言本身,运用模拟现实生活的思维训练模型来形象地展示编程的原理与逻辑流程,以提高学生对程序设计的逻辑思维能力和学习效果是本文研究的重点。     

Layer-by-layer magnetization reversal of nanophase crystals of a cobalt-platinum alloy after annealing under tensile loading

Behavior of magnetic domain structure in the course of magnetization reversal of CoPt crystals with optimum hysteresis properties after annealing under tensile stresses has been studied. Magnetic heterogeneities, which were periodically distributed in {100} and {110} planes have been revealed. An electron-microscopic investigation of the structure of the above CoPt crystals has been performed to show that the crystals are in a nanophase stressed-strained state. A connection between the magnetization-reversal mechanism and characteristic properties of the nanophase state of the crystals is discussed. An important role of magnetoelastic energy in the complicated quasi-periodic distribution of magnetization of the CoPt crystals investigated is emphasized.
