The concept of connecting two boost half bridge DC-DC converter modules in input-paral- lel output-parallel configuration is presented. The input-parallel-output-parallel (IPOP) converter consists of multiple boost half bridge (BHB) DC-DC converter modules which are connected in par- allel at the input and output side. This kind of converter is an attractive solution for high power ap- plications. The correlation between input current sharing (ICS) and output current sharing (OCS) of the IPOP converter basic modules is described. Two loop control strategies, consisting of input cur- rent loop and output voltage loop, have been developed to achieve equal ICS and OCS in this present work. The control strategy for the IPOP configuration of boost haft bridge DC-DC converter has been verified for different load conditions (half load and full load), The IPOP system proposed here is comprising of two modules but it can be extended to three or more. The performance of the pro- posed system along with the control strategy is verified by simulation in MATLAB using Simpower tool. Finally the satisfactory simulation results are obtained.  相似文献

A tropospheric ozone variability study is carried out to investigate the spatial and temporal distribution over the coastline of the Indian peninsula and adjacent land and sea using NASA Langley Tropospheric Ozone Residual data set for the period 1979–2005. A strong seasonal cycle has been observed with large variation (~ 55%) over the upper eastern coast, followed by the upper and lower western coast, compared to the lower eastern coast (~ 33%). A negative gradient in ozone concentration is observed along eastern and western coasts during summer (slope ~ –0.78 and –0.65) and a positive gradient (slope ~ 0.16 and 0.21) during winter. The same is observed over the adjacent land and sea along the coastline with slight variation. This change in gradient can be attributed to the anthropogenic emission of precursor gases that reinforce localized photochemical production of ozone. In addition, topography, transport, seasonality of emission of precursor gases and the solar insolation cycle play a vital role.  相似文献

The industry trends for processors are toward integrating an increasing number of cores into a single chip. Researchers have to deal with frequent data migration across network-on-chip and the increasing on-chip traffic. The innovation from flat to hierarchy is probably a natural design methodology for scalable systems (Martin et al. in Commun ACM, 55(7):78–89, 2012. doi: 10.1145/2209249.2209269). Unfortunately, the alternative of hierarchical directory protocol inevitably leads to on-chip traffic overhead, protocol complexity and access latency. In this paper, we target hierarchical cache coherence protocol to overcome the potentially high cost of maintaining cache coherence in current multicore processors. We propose a novel vertical caching protocol combined with grouped coherence, in which the coherence domain expand on demand. More specifically, its design philosophy is to provide a ‘best-effort’ single-copy delivery which allows the shared data only in the first common shared level. Compared to the previous hierarchical protocol, our proposal is able to achieve the performance improvement of 9.9% in the 16-core system and 13.4% in the 64-core system as well as an on-chip traffic reduction of about 10.8% in the 16-core system and 15.9% in the 64-core system, respectively.  相似文献

This paper presents an analytical technique for determining peak, offpeak and midpeak hours tariffs for various durations of these three periods. The technique considers the existing flat rate tariff, an hourly generation scenario of a utility on an average yearly demand day, the weighted average life time, annutised capital cost and fuel cost of base and peak load plants, and a break even point condition in the utility's revenue. The developed tariff has been applied to 30 representative industrial consumers served by the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) to estimate the minimum possible shift in consumption pattern and hence corresponding reduction in peak generation capacity requirement as well as peak time load shedding by BPDB. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The effect of swift heavy ion (72.5 MeV 58Ni6+) irradiation on Au/n-GaAs Schottky barrier characteristics is studied using in situ current-voltage measurements. Diode parameters are found to vary as a function of ion irradiation fluence. The Schottky barrier height (SBH) is found to be 0.55(±0.01) eV for the as deposited diode, which decreases with ion irradiation fluence. The SBH decreases to a value of 0.49(±0.01) eV at the highest ion irradiation fluence of 5 × 1013 ions cm−2. The ideality factor is found to be 2.48 for unirradiated diode, and it increases with irradiation to a value of 4.63 at the highest fluence. The modification in Schottky barrier characteristics is discussed considering the energy loss mechanism of swift heavy ion at the metal-semiconductor interface.  相似文献

The structural, physical, and thermal property details of Ru0.9Sr2YCu2.1O7.9 (Y/Ru-1212) superconducting material synthesized through high pressure (6 GPa) and a high temperature (1400 °C) (HPHT) route are reported here. (Y/Ru-1212) crystallizes in P4/mmm tetragonal structure and is found free of any detectable impurities through X-ray diffractometry. Ru-spins are ordered magnetically above 145 K, with a sizeable ferromagnetic component at 5 K. Further clear diamagnetic transitions are seen in both zero-field-cooled (ZFC) and field-cooled (FC) magnetic susceptibility measurements and exhibiting superconductivity below 50 K. Both the thermoelectric power (S) and thermal conductivity (κ) measurements show superconductivity onset below 50 K with S=0 at 30 K and a broad hump in heat capacity C p (T) below 30 K. Heat capacity (C p ) measurements also exhibit the magnetic ordering temperature as a hump below 145 K. The appearance of a hump in C p (T), instead of a clear transition, is indicative of short range magnetic correlations like spin glass (SG). Neither the high (145 K) nor the low (30 K) temperature humps of C p (T) could be analyzed quantitatively because of short magnetic correlations in former and mixing of both superconductivity and FM components in a later case. The observed data is compared with various reported Ru-1212 systems synthesized under normal pressure conditions. It is concluded that HPHT synthesized Y/Ru-1212 is a bulk superconductor below 30 K with a substantial FM component.  相似文献

We report the effect of Mn ion substitution on the structural, superconducting and magnetic properties of polycrystalline Ru1?x Mn x Sr2(Eu1.4Ce0.6)Cu2O10??? system with x=0.0 to 0.50. All the samples crystallizes with tetragonal structure in I4/mmm space group. RuSr2(Eu1.4Ce0.6)Cu2O10??? (EuRu-1222) is a reported magneto-superconductor with magnetic ordering at 100 K and superconductivity occurs at ?40 K. The exact nature of Ru spin magnetic ordering is still being debated and no conclusion has been reached yet. Here, we found the superconducting transition temperature T c=15 K from the dc magnetization measurements for undoped sample. It is observed that the superconducting transition temperature decreases with the Mn doping at Ru site. DC magnetic susceptibility measurements exhibited ferromagnetic like transition for all the synthesized samples. It was also observed that the net magnetic moment decreases gradually with Mn doping, though not monotonically. It seems that doping of Mn in EuRu-1222 at Ru site enhance the AFM ordering of Ru spins and suppress the FM component. Our results point out possible coupling between superconductivity and magnetism.  相似文献
