A pictorial query specification technique that enables the formulation of complex pictorial queries for browsing through a collection of spatially referenced images is presented. It is distinguished from most other methods by the fact that in these methods the query image specifies a target database image in its entirety whereas in our approach the query image specifies the combination of objects that the target database image should contain rather than being treated as a whole image. The query objects are represented by shape features although other features such as color, texture or wavelets could also be used. Using our technique, it is possible to specify which particular objects should appear in the target images as well as how many occurrences of each object are required. Moreover, it is possible to specify the minimum required certainty of matching between query-image objects and database-image objects, as well as to impose spatial constraints that specify bounds on the distance between objects and the relative direction between them. These spatial constraints can also be used to specify other topological relations such as enclosure, intersection, overlap, etc. Each pictorial query is composed of one or more query images. Each query image is constructed by selecting the required query objects and positioning them according to the desired spatial configuration. Boolean combinations of two or more query images are also possible by use of AND and OR operators. A query image may be negated in order to specify conditions that should not be satisfied by the database images that are retrieved successfully. In addition, a capability is provided to specify whether the same instance of an object is to be used when it appears in more than one of the query images that make up the pictorial query, or whether two different instances are allowed. Several example queries are given that demonstrate the expressive power of this query specification method. An algorithm for retrieving all database images that conform to a given pictorial query specification is presented. The user interface for using this pictorial query specification method to browse the results in a map image database application is described and illustrated via screen shots.  相似文献

This paper demonstrated a Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser (EDFL) using an organic saturable absorber (SA) based on 8-HQCdCl2H2O material. The organic thin film was prepared using the casting process. The proposed Q-switched EDFL has a maximum repetition rate of 143 kHz, minimum pulse duration of 1.85 µs and the highest pulse energy of 167 nJ. The Q-switched peak laser was at a central wavelength of 1 531 nm with a 3 dB bandwidth of 3.52 nm and power intensity of 2.64 dBm.  相似文献

Shelf-life of paté (salad in Israel) made by blending fried chicken liver and onions with hard-boiled eggs was extended, from 6 days in air to 14 days by Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP), using high CO2/low O2 mixtures. Aerobic microbial growth, mainly B. subtilis , and lipid oxidation (as TBA values) were largely inhibited, during 14 days, and odour up to 8 days (not tested beyond). the microbial growth inhibition was due to high CO2 levels. Oxidation was prevented due to microbial inhibition and not due to reduced O2.  相似文献

目的 构建鄂伦春传统服饰文化知识图谱并对其进行可视化设计。方法 通过知识可视化所包含的知识层、结构层、视觉层和用户层要素而展开设计。首先,通过文献研究法挖掘鄂伦春传统服饰文化知识要素,构建其知识层;其次,利用结构方程模型对鄂伦春传统服饰文化知识要素进行知识图谱绘制,构建其结构层;再次,对知识图谱中的形态、色彩、纹样、文化内涵进行设计因子提取,构建其视觉层;最后,利用层次分析法对可视化设计因子进行决策,构建其用户层。结论 将知识图谱的“相似匹配、回归聚类”与设计思维的“用户中心、迭代创新”优势互补,可解决传统文化创造性转化中“用不对、看不懂、接受弱、体验差”的窘境。  相似文献

The extent of oxidative and storage stability of margarine samples were determined by measuring peroxide values (PV) and Accelerated Shelf-Life Testing (ASLT). Two margarine samples, A and B, which were packaged with parchment and Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), respectively, were studied to predict their storage stabilities. Samples were stored at 4 and 14C in the dark as being typical of long term storage (LTS) conditions to study the deteriorative parameters of PV and free fatty acid (FFA). Induction times estimated from ASLT results were 9.18, 5.32 and 2.65 h for Margarine (A), and 8.92, 5.12 and 2.6 h for Margarine (B) at 100, 110 and 120C, respectively. During long term storage at 4 and 14C the shelf-life, based on peroxide formation, values were determined as 145 and 108 for Margarine (A), and 134 and 96 days for Margarine (B) at these temperature, respectively. Only a slight increase in the FFA content was observed on either sample. The main goal of the study was to test the methodology utilized rather than to compare packaging materials.  相似文献
