In this study, the crystal structure, thermal, oxygen transport, electrical conductivity and electrochemical properties of the perovskite NdBa0.5Sr0.5Co2O5+δ (NBSC55) are investigated. In the temperature range of 250 °C–350 °C, the weight loss upon heating was due to a partial loss of lattice oxygen and along with a reduction of Co4+ to Co3+. The tend of weight-loss slows down as temperature increased above 350 °C indicating a reduction of Co3+ to Co2+ during this stage. The oxygen migration is dominated by surface exchange process at high temperature range (650-800 °C); however, the bulk diffusion process prevails at low temperature range (500–600 °C). For long-term testing, the polarization resistance of NBSC55 increases gradually form 3.13 Ω cm2 for 2 h to 3.34 Ω cm2 for 96 h at 600 °C and an increasing-rate for polarization resistance is around 0.22% h?1. The power density of the single cell with NBSC55 cathode reached 341 mW cm?2 at 800 °C.  相似文献

Natural mycelial exopolysaccharide (EPS) and endopolysaccharide (ENS) extracted from bioreactor-cultivated European Ganoderma applanatum mushrooms are of potential high commercial value for both food and adjacent biopharmaceutical industries. In order to evaluate their potential toxicity for aquaculture application, both EPS (0.01–10 mg/mL) and ENS (0.01–10 mg/mL) extracts were tested for Zebrafish Embryo Toxicity (ZFET); early development effects on Zebrafish Embryos (ZE) were also analyzed between 24 and 120 h post-fertilization (HPF). Both EPS and ENS are considered non-toxic with LC50 of 1.41 mg/mL and 0.87 mg/mL respectively. Both EPS and ENS did not delay hatching and teratogenic defect towards ZE with <1.0 mg/mL, respectively. No significant changes in the ZE heart rate were detected following treatment with the two compounds tested (EPS: 0.01–10 mg/mL: 176.44 ± 0.77 beats/min and ENS: 0.01–10 mg/mL: 148.44 ± 17.75 beats/min) compared to normal ZE (120–180 beats/min). These initial findings support future pre-clinical trials in adult fish models with view to safely using EPS and ENS as potential feed supplements for supplements for development of the aquaculture industry.  相似文献

We consider two models commonly used in the literature to model adversarial injection of packets into a packet switching network. We establish the relation between these two types of models, and between them and the set of sequences of packets that allow stability. Size has been related with pea seed growth and maturation [1], and it is also considered an important parameter when peas are chosen for canning [2]. Some changes occur in the composition of vegetables during blanching, which are the partial loss of major components [3], that are further reduced during canning, mainly due to leaching into the water used for processing [4]. This leaching can be significant if the brine is discarded and not used as a part of the food consumed, as it is often done with most of canned vegetables [5]. Pea seed is an important source of protein for humans, and it has been suggested [6] that when considering pea seeds protein quality more emphasis should be given to the study of the albumin fraction, because it is the fraction rich in the sulphur amino acids. Although electrophoretic analysis of heat-treated proteins can be considered as time consuming it has been used to monitor changes in specific proteins and mixtures of protein subjected to a variety of heat treatments [7]. In general, heat treatments result in a drastic change in polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) patterns in the presence of the detergent sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) by reducing the number of bands compared to untreated samples [8]. The purpose of this study was to monitor changes in the albumin fraction of the protein of 4 sizes of peas in the raw, blanched and canned products, and the can brine solutions, using SDS-PAGE.  相似文献

This paper considers the application of the method of boundary penalty terms (SAT) to the numerical solution of the wave equation on complex shapes with Dirichlet boundary conditions. A theory is developed, in a semi-discrete setting, that allows the use of a Cartesian grid on complex geometries, yet maintains the order of accuracy with only a linear temporal error-bound. A numerical example, involving the solution of Maxwell’s equations inside a 2-D circular wave-guide demonstrates the efficacy of this method in comparison to others (e.g., the staggered Yee scheme)—we achieve a decrease of two orders of magnitude in the level of the L2-error.  相似文献

Oxygenated fuels increase fuel consumption due to their low enthalpy of combustion; however, their high antiknock index renders them suitable for use in engines with a high compression rate, increasing their thermal yield. This study evaluated the performance of biorenewable oxygenated fuels (ethanol and isoamyl alcohol) and partially renewable fuels (ETBE: ethyl tert-butyl ether, TAEE: tert-amyl ethyl ether and di-TAE: di-tert-amyl ether) with high degree of purity and in mixtures with automotive gasoline, based on tests with Otto cycle engines. Among the oxygenated fuels evaluated here, di-TAE was found to present the best characteristics of performance, both individually and in mixtures with gasoline.  相似文献
