A study on the convenient tuning of fractional-order hold electronic devices for digital control systems is presented. When certain constraints are fulfilled, this study assures in advance the attainment of inverse stable discrete plants. The main result is based on classic numerical analysis techniques and is applicable when the process to be digitally controlled is described as a second order plant or as a first order plant with time delay. In such cases, by using a conveniently tuned fractional-order hold, the discretization nonminimum-phase zeros emerged when using a common zero-order hold are avoided. In this way, the performance of the digitally controlled system may be improved.  相似文献

Microfluidic applications demand accurate control and measurement of small fluid flows and volumes, and the majority of approaches found in the literature involve materials and fabrication methods not suitable for a monolithic integration of different microcomponents needed to make a complex Lab-on-a-Chip (LoC) system. The present work leads to a design and manufacturing approach for problem-free monolithic integration of components on thermoplastics, allowing the production of excellent quality devices either as stand-alone components or combined in a complex structures. In particular, a polymeric liquid flow controlling system (LFCS) at microscale is presented, which is composed of a pneumatic microvalve and an on-chip microflow sensor. It enables flow regulation between 30 and 230 μl/min with excellent reproducibility and accuracy (error lower than 5%). The device is made of a single Cyclic Olefin Polymer (COP) piece, where the channels and cavities are hot-embossed, sealed with a single COP membrane by solvent bonding and metalized, after sealing, to render a fully functional microfluidic control system that features on-chip flow sensing. In contrast with commercially available flow control systems, the device can be used for high-quality flow modulation in disposable LoC devices, since the microfluidic chip is low cost and replaceable from the external electronic and pneumatic actuators box. Functionality of the LFCS is tested by connecting it to a microfluidic droplet generator, rendering highly stable flow rates and allowing generation of monodisperse droplets over a wide range of flow rates. The results indicate the successful performance of the LFCS with significant improvements over existing LFCS devices, facing the possibility of using the system for biological applications such as generating distinct perfusion modes in cell culture, novel digital microfluidics. Moreover, the integration capabilities and the reproducible fabrication method enable straightforward transition from prototype to product in a way that is lean, cost-effective and with reduced risk.  相似文献

Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) was reacted with three hydroxy acids (HA), namely D,L-lactic acid (LA), glycolic acid (GA) and D,L-3-hydroxybutyric acid (HB). The graft copolymers obtained were thoroughly characterized by 1H and 13C NMR, FTIR, and DSC. Copolymer compositions were in the range 14–45 mol% HA with average lateral chain lengths in the range 1.1–1.3. The CO stretching band, arising from the lateral polyester chains, presents significant differences from that of pure polyesters. In case of the VALA and VAGA copolymers, carbonyl groups are almost completely interassociated with hydroxyl groups and as a result the carbonyl band presents a single contribution; however, splitting appears in VAHB. The band at about 1735 cm?1 already observed for Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) P3HB was reexamined in the light of molecular models for VAHB and the splitting observed was attributed to C–H???OC and to O–H???OC hydrogen bonding. The thermal analysis of copolymers demonstrates that esterification suppresses crystallinity and increases free volume, both accounting for a Tg reduction with regard to PVA. The stronger intermolecular hydrogen bonding interactions found in PVA with the chemically modified PVAs opens an interesting way towards miscibility with polyesters and other polymer systems containing carbonyl groups.  相似文献

Seven monoterpenes in 4 aromatic plants (sage, cardamom, lavender, and rosemary) were quantified in liquid extracts and directly in solid samples by means of dynamic headspace‐gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (DHS‐GC‐MS) and multiple headspace extraction‐gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (MHSE), respectively. The monoterpenes were 1st extracted by means of supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) and analyzed by an optimized DHS‐GC‐MS. The optimization of the dynamic extraction step and the desorption/cryo‐focusing step were tackled independently by experimental design assays. The best working conditions were set at 30 °C for the incubation temperature, 5 min of incubation time, and 40 mL of purge volume for the dynamic extraction step of these bioactive molecules. The conditions of the desorption/cryo‐trapping step from the Tenax TA trap were set at follows: the temperature was increased from 30 to 300 °C at 150 °C/min, although the cryo‐trapping was maintained at ?70 °C. In order to estimate the efficiency of the SFE process, the analysis of monoterpenes in the 4 aromatic plants was directly carried out by means of MHSE because it did not require any sample preparation. Good linearity (r> 0.99) and reproducibility (relative standard deviation % <12) was obtained for solid and liquid quantification approaches, in the ranges of 0.5 to 200 ng and 10 to 500 ng/mL, respectively. The developed methods were applied to analyze the concentration of 7 monoterpenes in aromatic plants obtaining concentrations in the range of 2 to 6000 ng/g and 0.25 to 110 μg/mg, respectively.  相似文献

The application of Trichoderma strains with biocontrol and plant growth-promoting capacities to plant substrates can help reduce the input of chemical pesticides and fertilizers in agriculture. Some Trichoderma isolates can directly affect plant pathogens, but they also are known to influence the phytohormonal network of their host plant, thus leading to an improvement of plant growth and stress tolerance. In this study, we tested whether alterations in the phytohormone signature induced by different Trichoderma isolates correspond with their ability for biocontrol and growth promotion. Four Trichoderma isolates were collected from agricultural soils and were identified as the species Trichoderma harzianum (two isolates), Trichoderma ghanense, and Trichoderma hamatum. Their antagonistic activity against the plant pathogen Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melonis was tested in vitro, and their plant growth-promoting and biocontrol activity against Fusarium wilt on melon plants was examined in vivo, and compared to that of the commercial strain T. harzianum T-22. Several growth- and defense-related phytohormones were analyzed in the shoots of plants that were root-colonized by the different Trichoderma isolates. An increase in auxin and a decrease in cytokinins and abscisic acid content were induced by the isolates that promoted the plant growth. Principal component analysis (PCA) was used to evaluate the relationship between the plant phenotypic and hormonal variables. PCA pointed to a strong association of auxin induction with plant growth stimulation by Trichoderma. Furthermore, the disease-protectant ability of the Trichoderma strains against F. oxysporum infection seems to be more related to their induced alterations in the content of the hormones abscisic acid, ethylene, and the cytokinin trans-zeatin riboside than to the in vitro antagonism activity against F. oxysporum.  相似文献

A laboratory model nitrifying activated sludge plant treating OECD synthetic sewage was designed and constructed by each of three laboratories in Germany, Scotland and Spain in order to produce a sludge inoculum for 5 rapid toxicity bioassays. The plants were run for 3 years and produced sludge for the microbially based bioassays Vibrio fischeri bioluminescence, ATP luminescence and respiration, and, nitrification and enzyme inhibition. Although the initial sludge inoculum for the plants differed, as did some of the running conditions such as temperature regime, the sludge produced within the different countries had similar characteristics with respect to sludge age, total suspended solids and volatile suspended solids. Nitrification was generally maintained over the 3-year period although there were occasions when the process was inconsistent. Nitrification recovery was afforded by reseeding with a nitrifying sludge from a local wastewater treatment works (WWTW) or imposition of starvation conditions for a period of time. The sludge produced was used to carry out toxicity testing and results compared well with those using sludge from a WWTW. Overall, the use of sludge generated in the laboratory could be used for toxicity testing negating the need to resort to the use of natural WWTW sludge, which may contain a range of toxic substances due to uncontrolled industrial and domestic inputs and an unbalanced microbial consortium.  相似文献

Three oil samples obtained from sacha inchi (Plukenetia volubilis L.) seeds were studied by means of FTIR and 1H NMR. Frequency data of the most significant bands of the IR spectrum of this oil are given. These data show that sacha inchi oil has a high degree of unsaturation. The same fact is deduced from the ratio between the absorbance of the bands due to the stretching vibrations of the cis olefinic CH double bonds at 3010.5 cm−1 and to the methylene symmetrical stretching vibrations at 2855.1 cm−1. The proportions of monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, and saturated acyl groups were predicted from the frequency of some IR bands, and these were in satisfactory agreement with the values obtained through FAME generation and their quantification by GC. Likewise, simple observation of the 1H NMR spectra provided a great deal of information about sacha inchi oil, with regard not only to the relative proportions of the different acyl groups but also to their nature. Thus, the presence of γ-linolenic acyl groups was discounted. Furthermore, the area of some 1H NMR signals was used to determine the proportion of saturated and mono-, di-, and triunsaturated acyl groups, which also were in satisfactory agreement with the values obtained by classical methods. IR and 1H NMR determinations take very little time in comparison with classical methods and do not require chemical manipulation or transformation of the sample. A comparison was also made between the compositions of sacha inchi and linseed oil. Both oils are important sources of the healthful n−3 linolenic acyl groups, and sacha inchi also contains high proportions of the n−6 linoleic acyl groups.  相似文献

In this article is presented a robust adaptive control scheme for mechanical manipulators with finite error convergence time. The design combines, on the one hand, a composite adaptive controller that implements a feedback linearization control law that compensates the modelled dynamics, and, on the other hand, a terminal sliding mode control law that overcomes the uncertainties usually present in the real systems. Then, to avoid the chattering phenomenon inherent to the sliding schemes, the control law is also smoothed out. It is proved that the resulting closed loop system is stable and that the trajectory-tracking error converges to zero in finite time. Moreover, an upper bound of this error convergence time is calculated. Finally, the design is evaluated by means of simulations.  相似文献

Provisions for citizen involvement in the assessment of potential environmental effects of certain plans, programmes and projects are present in current legislation. An international survey revealed that public participation is common practice in European and some other countries worldwide. However, a number of issues are observed to affect public involvement in EIA/SEA processes and expert opinion differs when evaluating the effectiveness of existing participative methods.Results suggest that technology-aided methods can improve traditional participation processes. In particular, GIS has the potential to increase community knowledge and enhance involvement by communicating information more effectively. Variable accessibility to technology and data quality remain issues. Combining technology with more conventional ways of gathering, evaluating and presenting data are seen as offering a solution to the need to promote the integration of public perceptions in environmental assessment procedures. Recommendations to improve current public participation methods and measures for making GIS available to the general public are provided.  相似文献
