Monitoring of Timed Discrete Events Systems With Interrupts

A framework is introduced for monitoring the interrupting faults in the timed discrete events systems. We introduce the notion of acceptable behavior of the system subjected to these faults: permanent or intermittent. The acceptable behavior of a system is modeled by a stopwatch automaton. The timed sub-spaces in the locations of the automaton delimit exactly the range of the acceptable behavior. They are synthesized using the techniques of reachability analysis of stopwatch automata in a way to detect the system faults as early as possible.     

Thermal lens study of the Tris(2,2’-bipyridyl)iron(Ⅱ) tetrafluoroborate

Experimental results of thermal lens measurements for Tris(2,2’-bipyridyl)iron(II) tetrafluoroborate solution are reported using the dual beam technique. The temporal evaluation of thermal lens was observed at input pump power of I=47 mW. The thermal lens effect was observed with increasing the pump power intensity as well. The evolution time of thermal lens and the fitting of the experimental transient curve were useful to evaluate the parameters of the Tris(2,2’-bipyridyl)iron(Ⅱ) tetrafluoroborate solution.     

Numerical simulation for symmetric diffraction patterns of 8-hydroxyquinolin-1-ium 4-aminobenzenesulfonate

We reported the formation of diffraction ring patterns induced by transmitted Gaussian laser beam through 8-hydroxyquinolin-1-ium 4-aminobenzenesulfonate(8 HQABS) solution as absorbing medium. Theoretical model depending on the Fresnel-Kirchhoff diffraction(FKD) theory was used to generate diffraction rings with respect to the sample position. Numerical calculation of Z-scan measurements for nonlinear media with large phase shift

We have reported the characteristics of a Z-scan for the poly(azaneylylidene-acylene)(DAZA) polymer, as nonlinear medium with a large nonlinear phase shift using continuous-wave(CW) laser beam. It has been verified that the Fresnel diffraction model is applicable for analyses of Z-scan measurements with DAZA polymer at high laser power.
