An unsteady-state one-dimensional mathematical model is used to perform a theoretical analysis of the process of thermal decomposition of methane under conditions of filtering through a heated porous medium formed by granules of commercial-grade carbon. A scheme of the process kinetics is developed. The effect of the basic characteristics of commercial-grade carbon and of the operating conditions on the efficiency of the process is treated. Laboratory experiments are performed in support of the commercial-scale technology of production of granular pyrocarbon. A comparison of the calculation results with experimental data demonstrates their good agreement.  相似文献

An improved procedure is developed for the processing of images of meridional section of a liquid drop, obtained as a result of realization of the sessile drop method for determining the surface tension of liquid. The procedure provides for the scanning of digital image of droplet, for numerical solution of the Young-Laplace equation, and for the calculation of surface tension, wetting angle, and volume of the drop.  相似文献

The problem of short-term forecasting of electric power demand of stand-alone consumers (small inhabited localities) situated outside centralized power supply areas is considered. The basic approaches to modeling the electric power demand depending on the forecasting time frame and the problems set, as well as the specific features of such modeling, are described. The advantages and disadvantages of the methods used for the short-term forecast of the electric demand are indicated, and difficulties involved in the solution of the problem are outlined. The basic principles of arranging artificial neural networks are set forth; it is also shown that the proposed method is preferable when the input information necessary for prediction is lacking or incomplete. The selection of the parameters that should be included into the list of the input data for modeling the electric power demand of residential areas using artificial neural networks is validated. The structure of a neural network is proposed for solving the problem of modeling the electric power demand of residential areas. The specific features of generation of the training dataset are outlined. The results of test modeling of daily electric demand curves for some settlements of Kamchatka and Yakutia based on known actual electric demand curves are provided. The reliability of the test modeling has been validated. A high value of the deviation of the modeled curve from the reference curve obtained in one of the four reference calculations is explained. The input data and the predicted power demand curves for the rural settlement of Kuokuiskii Nasleg are provided. The power demand curves were modeled for four characteristic days of the year, and they can be used in the future for designing a power supply system for the settlement. To enhance the accuracy of the method, a series of measures based on specific features of a neural network’s functioning are proposed.  相似文献

A thermophysical model and a technique for calculating the gas temperature in the active volume of a metal-vapor laser and of the construction elements of discharge chambers are presented. Results of comparative thermal calculations of the coaxial and cylindrical discharge chambers of the laser are given. The temperature dependences of the gas thermal conductivity, radial distribution of heat release, and the radiative heat exchange between the coaxial cylinders are taken into account. Formulas for calculation of the central-insert temperature have been derived. The possibility of eliminating superheating of the working substance and enhancing output characteristics of large-volume copper vapor lasers due to the use of a coaxial construction of discharge chambers has been demonstrated numerically.  相似文献

The preparation of several alkyl dialkylphosphonodibromoacetates and dialkylphosphonodibromoacetonitriles is described. Some of these materials were shown to possess interesting biocidal characteristics both against single micro-organisms and against wild type mixed micro-organisms present in cooling water from a fertiliser plant.  相似文献
