We consider the use of distributed antennas to increase the capacity and peak data rate achievable in a microcellular CDMA system with limited bandwidth. In additon to the diversity against Rayleigh fading achievable by use of microdiversity among nearly co-located transmit or receive antennas, we exploit macrodiversity against shadow fading that more widely separated antennas permit. We report on antenna configurations for both directional and omni-directional antennas that provide the most uniform signal-to-interference ratio coverage, averaged over a large number of position vectors drawn from a spatially uniform distribution of mobiles. Call capacities and peak transmission rates are determined for an integrated system carrying traffic at different constant rates, where processing gain and the transmission rate are selected to satisfy a common chip rate. For the downlink a 5.5 dB capacity gain can be achieved for 64 kb/s calls using four antennas located on the diagonals of each square cell. A bandwidth of 5 MHz allows two or more calls to be simultaneously supported at data rates up to 512 kb/s, as opposed to only 128 kb/s for three co-located antennas. On the uplink we distinguish between the computationally simpler equal-gain combining of the antenna signals and the possibly more complex maximum-ratio combining. With equal gain combining we achieve a peak data rate of 128 kb/s and a capacity gain of 2.5 dB relative to equal gain combining of three nearly co-located antenna signals. With maximum ratio combining the peak uplink rate can be as high as 512 kb/s and the capacity is increased by 2.0 dB relative to the maximum-ratio combining of three co-located antennas.  相似文献

This paper presents a new hybrid method for continuous Arabic speech recognition based on triphones modelling. To do this, we apply Support Vectors Machine (SVM) as an estimator of posterior probabilities within the Hidden Markov Models (HMM) standards. In this work, we describe a new approach of categorising Arabic vowels to long and short vowels to be applied on the labeling phase of speech signals. Using this new labeling method, we deduce that SVM/HMM hybrid model is more efficient then HMMs standards and the hybrid system Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) with HMM. The obtained results for the Arabic speech recognition system based on triphones are 64.68 % with HMMs, 72.39 % with MLP/HMM and 74.01 % for SVM/HMM hybrid model. The WER obtained for the recognition of continuous speech by the three systems proves the performance of SVM/HMM by obtaining the lowest average for 4 tested speakers 11.42 %.  相似文献

The essential oils composition of coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) fruits obtained by hydrodistillation was studied at three stages of maturity by GC–FID and GC–MS. Essential oil yields showed marked increase during maturation process and forty one compounds were identified. Geranyl acetate (46.27%), linalool (10.96%), nerol (1.53%) and neral (1.42%) were the main compounds at the first stage of maturity (immature fruits). At the middle stage, linalool (76.33%), cis-dihydrocarvone (3.21%) and geranyl acetate (2.85%) were reported as the main constituents. Essential oils at the final stage of maturity (mature fruits) consist mainly on linalool (87.54%) and cis-dihydrocarvone (2.36%). Additionally, accumulation of monoterpene alcohols and ketones was observed during maturation process of coriander fruit.  相似文献

This study is designed to examine the fruit essential oil composition, the total phenolic amounts and the antioxidant activities in methanolic extracts of Coriandrum sativum under saline conditions. Increasing NaCl levels to 75 mM reduced significantly the fruit yield by 36%. The essential oil yield was 0.30%, based on the dry weight; it increased by 77% and 84% at 50 and 75 mM NaCl, respectively, in comparison to the control. The major constituents were linalool and camphor, whose amounts increased with increasing NaCl concentrations. Antioxidant activities of the methanol extracts were determined by three different test systems, namely DPPH, β-carotene/linoleic acid and reducing power assays. In these three test systems, the highest activity was exhibited in control plants and was reduced significantly with increasing NaCl levels. In control plants, the total phenolic amount was 1.04 mg GAE/g DW which decreased by 43% and 66% at 50 and 75 mM NaCl, respectively.  相似文献

In this work, forward current voltage characteristics for multi-quantum wells Al0.33Ga0.67As Schottky diode were measured at temperature ranges from 100 to 300 K. The main parameters of this Schottky diode, such as the ideality factor, barrier height, series resistance and saturation current, have been extracted using both analytical and heuristics methods. Differential evolution (DE), particle swarm optimization (PSO) and artificial bee colony (ABC) have been chosen as candidate heuristics algorithms, while Cheung technic was selected as analytical extraction method. The obtained results show clearly the high performance of DE algorithms in terms of parameters accuracy, convergence speed and robustness.  相似文献

This paper proposes the design and a comparative study of two proposed online kernel methods identification in the reproducing kernel Hilbert space and other two kernel method existing in the literature. The two proposed methods, titled SVD-KPCA, online RKPCA. The two other techniques named Sliding Window Kernel Recursive Least Square and the Kernel Recursive Least Square. The considered performances are the Normalized Means Square Error, the consumed time and the numerical complexity. Technological advances in recent years have significantly changed the way an operating room works. This work aims to create a platform to solve the problems of operating room occupancy and prepare the rooms with an environment that is favorable for all operations. Using this system, a doctor can control all operation rooms, especially before an operation, and monitor their temperature and humidity to prepare for the operation. Also, in the event of a problem, an alert is sent to the nurse responsible for the room and medical stuff so that the problem can be resolved. The platform is tested using a Raspberry PI card and sensors. The sensors are connected to a cloud layer that collects and analyzes the temperature and humidity values obtained from the environment during an operation. The result of experimentations is visualized through a web application and an Android application. The platform also considers the security aspects such as authorization to access application functionalities for the Web and the mobile applications. We can also test and evaluate the system’s existing problems and vulnerabilities using the IEEE and owasp IoT standards. Finally, the proposed framework is extended with a model based testing technique that may be adopted for validating thesecurity aspects.  相似文献
