Separation of Glycerol-monooleate from a Mixture of Glycerides by Means of a Supercritical Extractant The continuous separation of pure monoglycerides out of a mixture of glycerides by means of supercritical fluid extraction was investigated. As supercritical extracting agent carbon dioxide containing propane as an entrainer was used. The phase equilibria concerning the process were measured and are discussed. In an extraction apparatus consisting of an extraction column and two separators the viability of the process was tested. At 40°C and 120 bar a product with 99.5 wt.% monoglycerides was manufactured out of a mixture of glycerides containing 59 wt.% monoglycerides.  相似文献

Educational timetabling problem is a challenging real world problem which has been of interest to many researchers and practitioners. There are many variants of this problem which mainly require scheduling of events and resources under various constraints. In this study, a curriculum based course timetabling problem at Yeditepe University is described and an iterative selection hyper-heuristic is presented as a solution method. A selection hyper-heuristic as a high level methodology operates on the space formed by a fixed set of low level heuristics which operate directly on the space of solutions. The move acceptance and heuristic selection methods are the main components of a selection hyper-heuristic. The proposed hyper-heuristic in this study combines a simulated annealing move acceptance method with a learning heuristic selection method and manages a set of low level constraint oriented heuristics. A key goal in hyper-heuristic research is to build low cost methods which are general and can be reused on unseen problem instances as well as other problem domains desirably with no additional human expert intervention. Hence, the proposed method is additionally applied to a high school timetabling problem, as well as six other problem domains from a hyper-heuristic benchmark to test its level of generality. The empirical results show that our easy-to-implement hyper-heuristic is effective in solving the Yeditepe course timetabling problem. Moreover, being sufficiently general, it delivers a reasonable performance across different problem domains.  相似文献

The effects of long-term application of recombinant porcine somatotropin (pST) to Landrace pigs on the development of backfat thickness, fat cells and fatty acid composition were investigated from about the 116th to the 186th day of life. Biopsy samples from the backfat of 56 castrates were taken at the beginning of treatment and after 5 and 10 weeks. The daily injection of 2 or 4 mg of pST induced a considerable decrease in backfat growth compared to untreated controls. This was attributed to a decreased size (about 18–20%) and number (about 13–25%) of fat cells. The higher dose of 4 mg pST/day induced a greater restriction of fat growth. This was obviously based on differences in fat cell number. Furthermore, pST treatment delayed the normal decrease of unsaturated fatty acids (C 18:2; C 18:3) during the period of growth examined. Therefore, the percentages of unsaturated fatty acids increased, indicating changes in fat cell metabolism of pST treated pigs.  相似文献

108 tendons of the m. extensor hallucis longus were examined with a tensile testing machine within 36 h after death. The specimen were kept at a resting length of 20 mm. After the "steady state" was reached by cyclic loading, the tendons were stretched up to a maximum load of 18 kp, then deloaded to a certain level and after that the elongation was kept constant. At high loading level the tension of the tendon decreases with time (relaxation). At medium and low loading level the tension increases slightly (mechanical recovery). Between that two regions there is a certain load, where the tension will not change with time (isorheological point). The position of the isorheological point depends on the velocity of the elongation. At low velocity (2 mm/min) the isorheological point is situated at 70%, at high velocity (12 mm/min) at 60% of the maximum load. One will find the maximum relaxation, when no deloading occurs. The mechanical recovery, however, has its maximum at 5--25% of the maximum load. But when the tendon is totally deloaded, there seems to occur no recovery. The maximum relaxation is 5 to 6 times larger than the maximum recovery. Supposingly the relaxation- and recovery-processses will happen at the same time but with different intensity depending on the loading level. At least the relaxation-process consists of different relaxation components with different relaxation times. This will explain the phenomenon of a "secondary relaxation": After a long time of registration the recovery will turn into a slight relaxation.  相似文献

This study was carried out to determine some of the biochemical properties of pectin methylesterase (PME) from black carrot. The enzyme showed very high activity in a broad pH range of 6.5–8.5, with the optimum pH occurring at 7.5. The optimum temperature for maximal PME activity was found to be 55 °C. NaCl enhanced PME activity, particularly at 0.2 M. Km and Vmax values for black carrot PME using apple pectin as substrate were found to be 2.14 mg/ml (r2 = 0.988) and 3.75 units/ml, respectively. The enzyme was stable between the temperatures of 30–50 °C/5 min whereas it lost nearly all of its activity at 70 °C/5 min. Ea and Z values were found to be 196.8 kJmol−1 (r2 = 0.996) and 2.16 °C (r2 = 0.995), respectively.  相似文献

This study examined the effects of feeding pasture vs. concentrate on the distribution of CLA isomers in the lipids of longissimus and semitendinosus muscle, liver and heart muscle, and subcutaneous fat in beef bulls. Sixty-four German Holstein and German Simmental bulls were randomly allocated to either an indoor concentrate system or periods of pasture feeding followed by a finishing period on a concentrate containing linseed to enhance their beef content of n−3 PUFA and CLA. The concentrations of CLA isomers in the different tissues were determined by GC and silver ion HPLC. The diet affected the distribution of individual CLA isomers in the lipids of the different tissues. The concentration (mg/100 g fresh tissue) of the most prominent isomer, cis-9,trans-11 18∶2, was increased up to 1.5 times in liver and heart tissue of bulls fed on pasture as compared with concentrate. However, no diet effect was observed for cis-9,trans-11 18∶2 in the lipids of longissimus muscle and subcutaneous fat. In all tissues, the second-most abundant CLA isomer in concentratefed bulls was trans-7,cis-9 18∶2. In contrast, trans-11,cis-13 18∶2 was the second-most abundant CLA isomer in all investigated tissue lipids of pasture-fed bulls. The concentration of the trans-11,cis-13 18∶2 isomer was up to 15 times higher in tissues of pasture-fed bulls as compared with concentrate-fed animals. Furthermone, diet affected the concentrations of the CLA trans,trans 18∶2 isomers. Pasture feeding significantly increased the concentrations of some trans,trans 18∶2 isomers as compared with concentrate, predominantly trans-12,trans-14 18∶2 and trans-11,trans-13 18∶2. Overall, pasture feeding resulted in significantly increased concentrations of the sum of CLA isomers in the lipids of longissimus, muscle, subcutaneous fat, heart and liver muscle of German Holstein and German Simmental bulls, but not in semitendinosus muscle.  相似文献

The aim of this study is to investigate the metallurgical and mechanical properties of friction welded stainless steel-copper joints. One of the manufacturing methods used to produce parts made from different materials is the friction welding method. Application of classical welding techniques to such materials is difficult because of they have different thermal properties. Stainless steel-copper joints are inevitable for certain applications due to unique performances such as higher electric conductivity, heat conductivity, corrosion resistance, and mechanical properties. In the present study, austenitic stainless steel and copper parts were joined by friction welding. Tensile, fatigue, and notch-impact tests were applied to friction welded specimens, and the results were compared with those for the original materials. Microstructure, energy dispersive x-ray, and x-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and hardness variations were conducted on the joints. Results showed that various intermetallic phases such as FeCu4 and Cu2NiZn occurred at the interface. It was found from the microstructure and XRD analysis that intermetallic phases formed in the interface which further caused a decrease in the strength of the joints. However, hardness of the copper increased slightly, whereas the hardness of steel decreases slightly on the horizontal distance from the center.  相似文献

The intracellular Ca(2+) concentration is mainly regulated by the sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR). A disturbed regulation leads to an increased metabolism and ultimately to inferior meat quality. In this study, pigs with normal and mutated calcium release channels (referred to as MHR and MHS, respectively) were used. One batch of pigs was slaughtered in winter months and another in summer months. The intention was to elucidate the impact of season on the Ca(2+) transport of SR and on meat quality in dependence of the MH-status. The results show an impact of MH-status and of season on the meat quality with inferior values in summer months, and in MHS pigs. Immediately after slaughter the rate of Ca(2+) sequestration of the SR with biochemically closed and with opened calcium release channels (CRC) was not different between experimental groups. However, with basic CRC (not biochemically manipulated) the Ca(2+) uptake rate of MHR muscle of summer pigs was significantly reduced and at the level of that of MHS pigs. The results indicate an impact of summer season on the ability of SR to regulate Ca(2+) concentration properly even in pigs with a normal CRC. This disturbed Ca(2+) regulation is correlated with diminished meat quality.  相似文献
