Organic–inorganic hybrid materials are of significant interest owing to their diverse applications ranging from photovoltaics and electronics to catalysis. Control over the organic and inorganic components offers flexibility through tuning their chemical and physical properties. Herein, it is reported that a new organic–inorganic hybrid, [Mn(C2H6OS)6]I4, with linear tetraiodide anions exhibit an ultralow thermal conductivity of 0.15 ± 0.01 W m?1 K?1 at room temperature, which is among the lowest values reported for organic–inorganic hybrid materials. Interestingly, the hybrid compound has a unique 0D structure, which extends into 3D supramolecular frameworks through nonclassical hydrogen bonding. Phonon band structure calculations reveal that low group velocities and localization of vibrational energy underlie the observed ultralow thermal conductivity, which could serve as a general principle to design novel thermal management materials. 相似文献

The synthesis of dimethylacetal using acetaldehyde and methanol as raw material in the presence of Smopex 101 fibres as catalyst and adsorbent in batch reactor and in a fixed bed adsorptive reactor, respectively, was studied. In the batch reactor the determination of thermodynamic and reaction kinetics data for acetalization reaction was presented. A kinetic model based on a pseudo-homogeneous rate expression using activities was proposed to describe the experimental kinetic results. The dynamic binary adsorption experiments were carried out in the absence of reaction at 293.15 K in a laboratory scale column. The experimental results of the adsorption of binary non-reactive mixtures are reported and used to obtain multi-component adsorption equilibrium isotherms of Langmuir type. The mathematical model was proposed to describe the adsorptive reactor dynamic behaviour. The experimental results obtained for the reaction and regeneration experiments were compared with the model proposed. Model equations were solved by orthogonal collocation on finite elements (OCFE) implemented by the PDECOL package, using the measured model parameters and was validated for both reaction and regeneration steps. 相似文献

This paper presents geometrical analysis on the design of planar coupled coils for use as magnetic sensors. Inductance and
magnetic coupling of the coil are analyzed using field solver analyzer ASITIC. Effects of different coil parameters, such
as winding number, spacing, and width are discussed in detail. As results, the coil design considers not only the inductance
value and the height of magnetic coupling, but also the geometrical area consumed. The analysis is verified by experimental
data from coupled coil fabricated using surface micromachining techniques. An outer coil area having a typical dimension of
1.8 × 1.8 mm2 and a fix inner coil diameter of 500 μm was fabricated. Coupling factor of about 0.7 and self inductance of 12.7 nH were
achieved, which show a reasonably good agreement with the simulated results. The coil platform developed offers an integrated

Coconut sugar is traditionally produced by evaporating sap until reaching its saturated liquid and formed a crystalline structure. This study investigated the comparison of coconut sugar made by traditional method (crystalline structure) and dried coconut sugar (predominantly amorphous structure) to its characteristics. Two different formulation of coconut sap : maltodextrin (7 : 3) and (6 : 4) (weight/weight) were dried using vacuum oven (70℃, 6 hours) and spray dried (Tinlet 120℃.) Coconut sugar was characterized for moisture content, crystallinity, water sorption isotherm, hygroscopic rate, color, dissolving time, and powder recovery. Initial moisture content was examined and in range of 1.33% - 3.44% (wb). The highest monolayer water content was obtained by using spray drying (6 : 4) and lowest was obtained by traditional method. X-ray diffraction showed that dried coconut sugar powder had dominant amorphous structure (70.9 – 71.4%) while traditional one was dominated with crystalline structure (90.5%). Traditional coconut sugar was the least hygroscopic (1.21 × 10-4 g water/g solid/minutes), followed by vacuum dried coconut sugar (1.48 × 10-4 g water/g solid/minutes) and spray dried ones (1.56 – 1.67 × 10-4 g water/g solid/minutes). Spray dried coconut sugar had the brightest and the whitest color, followed by vacuum dried and traditional coconut sugar. Vacuum dried powder was quicker to dissolve (13.33 – 16.67 s), while increasing maltodextrin in spray drying could not decrease the dissolving time. The highest powder recovery of dried sugar was obtained by using vacuum drying and higher maltodextrin concentration (88.70%) while traditional method produced 100% powder recovery. 相似文献
