Summary Novel PUs containing pyridinium moieties were synthesized by chain extending isocyanate endcapped prepolymers with N, N’-bis (2-hydroxyethyl) isonicotinamide. The pyridinium moieties in the PUs were chemically crosslinked using short-chain divalent quaternising agents. The polyurethane cationomers were characterized by spectral, thermal and mechanical analysis. Spectral results confirmed the quaternisation of tertiary nitrogen leading to crosslinking. Compared to conventional PUs, the crosslinked PU networks exhibited improved thermal stability. The damping value (i.e.) tan δ for cationomers were improved over a broad temperature range when compared to conventional PU.  相似文献

Increase in the ion concentration in the medium was found to increase conductivity and potassium hydroxide number (KOH No) in natural rubber latex (NRL). Addition of long chain fatty acids can increase the ion concentration in the medium and stability of NRL. A series of concentrated natural rubber latex samples from three different areas with different soils and climatic conditions were tested for the parameters such as KOH No and conductivity. They have been measured over a period of 62 days, upon addition of soap to natural rubber latex concentrate. The result showed that there was a strong positive linear correlation between conductivity and KOH No. The regression equation to express the relationship between the variables has also been found. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Summary Polyurethane-polymethacrylic acid multi-block copolymers were synthesized from tetraphenylethane based polyurethane iniferter. Number of polymethacrylic acid blocks and molecular weight of block copolymers increased with increasing polymerization time which proves that the formation of block copolymers is through a living radical mechanism. The multi-block copolymers obtained were converted into their sodium anionomers. The multi-block copolymers and their anionomers have been characterized by FTIR, FTNMR and DSC analysis.  相似文献

Amino derivative of chloromethylated polystyrene resin was synthesized and functionalized by 1,10‐phenanthroline (1,10‐Phen) to yield a novel adsorbent, namely 4‐methylamino‐[N,N‐bis(2,2)‐1,10‐phenanthroline] polystyrene ( 4‐MABPPS ). The complete development of novel adsorbent along with its characterization is described in detail. The adsorption ability and selectivity of 4‐MABPPS were investigated for cobalt and zirconium ions so as to efficiently separate cobalt ion impurities from zircalloy cladding material of nuclear reactors. The dielectric relaxation behavior of different conducting carbon black‐filled ethylene‐octene copolymer (EOC) vulcanizates prepared by melt‐mixing method has been studied as a function of frequency (100 Hz–5 MHz) over a wide range of temperatures (25–100°C). The effect of filler loading and frequency on AC conductivity, dielectric permittivity, impedance, and dielectric loss tangent (tanδ) has been studied. The nature of variation of the dielectric permittivity with the filler loadings was explained on the basis of interfacial polarization of the filler in the polymer matrix. The effect of filler loading on the real and complex part of the impedance was explained by the relaxation dynamics of the polymer chains in the vicinity of the fillers. The effect of filler and temperature on dielectric loss tangent, dielectric permittivity, AC conductivity, and Nyquist plot was also reported. The bound rubber (BR) value increases with increase in filler loading suggesting the formation of strong interphase, which is correlated with dielectric loss. Thermal activation energy (Ea) was found to be decreasing with the temperature, which follows the Arrhenius relation: τb = τ0 exp(−Ea/KBT) where τb is the relaxation time for the bulk material. From the plot of lnτb versus inverse of absolute temperature (1/T), the activation energies (Ea) were found to be 0.37 and 0.44eV, respectively. Interpenetrating Polymer Networks, from glycerol modified linseed oil polyurethanes and cardanol-based dyes, which are yet to be extensively studied were synthesized using benzoyl peroxide as initiator and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as cross-linker. These polymers were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra, thermal analysis techniques such as thermogravimetric analysis, derivative thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis. The kinetic parameters such as activation energy and orders of reaction were ascertained using Freeman-Carroll and Freeman-Anderson methods. The effects of changes in polyurethane to dye monomer weight ratio on the properties of such polymers were investigated at 1.2 and 1.6 NCO/OH ratios.  相似文献

现有的油气井产量预测方法以传统技术经济预测的惯性原理为基础。混沌理论的产生与发展对这种预测原理提出了挑战。目前有关酸化井产量变化混沌特征识别与预测的相关研究还鲜有公开报道。采用相空间重构和关联维数提取技术,对西部某油田一油井酸化后60 d的产油量时间序列研究发现,此井产油量时间序列的饱和嵌入维数和对应的吸引子维数分别为11和2.64,由此说明该井酸化后的生产系统动态演化规律为高维空间中的奇异吸引子,因而产油量变化表现出混沌特征;并且说明影响该井产油量变化的基本变量为3~11个。从而为单井生产系统动力学模型的建立,特别是人工神经网络预测模型的输入层节点数量的确定提供了定量的参考。  相似文献

In this paper a novel structure of annular ring loaded stacked circular patch microstrip antenna is theoretically analysed to observe various parameters such as return loss, input impedance, gain, directivity and radiation pattern. It is found that antenna possess three band of operation which signify the compactness and multiband operation of antenna. The antenna is resonating at three operating frequencies 1.720, 2.950, 3.060 GHz. The proposed theory is verified by simulation using Ansoft’s HFSS and theoretical results are in good agreement with simulated results. The antenna is useful for multi-services operations such as WLAN, GSM, UMTS, and WiMAX services.  相似文献
