DeMIMA: A Multilayered Approach for Design Pattern Identification   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Design patterns are important in object-oriented programming because they offer design motifs, elegant solutions to recurrent design problems, which improve the quality of software systems. Design motifs facilitate system maintenance by helping to understand design and implementation. However, after implementation, design motifs are spread throughout the source code and are thus not directly available to maintainers. We present DeMIMA, an approach to identify semi-automatically micro-architectures that are similar to design motifs in source code and to ensure the traceability of these micro-architectures between implementation and design. DeMIMA consists of three layers: two layers to recover an abstract model of the source code, including binary class relationships, and a third layer to identify design patterns in the abstract model. We apply DeMIMA to five open-source systems and, on average, we observe 34% precision for the considered 12 design motifs. Through the use of explanation-based constraint programming, DeMIMA ensures 100% recall on the five systems. We also apply DeMIMA on 33 industrial components.  相似文献

Silk fibers and membranes were acylated with octadecenylsuccinic anhydride (ODSA) at 75°C for different times. Swelling [N,N‐dimethylformamide (DMF) and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)] and nonswelling (xylene) solvent media were used for the reaction. Silk membranes that reacted in DMF or DMSO displayed faster reaction kinetics and attained higher weight‐gain values than fibers. The effect of the solvent on the reaction yield was in the following order: DMSO > DMF ? xylene. The Fourier transform infrared spectra of acylated silk samples showed the characteristic absorption bands of the anhydride at 2990, 2852, 1780–1700, and 1170 cm?1. The intensity of the latter band, which increased linearly with the weight gain, was used as a marker for evaluating the reaction kinetics of the samples acylated in the nonswelling medium. The moisture regain and water retention of silk fibers acylated with ODSA decreased significantly, regardless of the solvent system used. Accordingly, the water repellency increased. Acylation induced an increase in the thermal stability of the silk fibers and membranes. The work presented here discusses a new technique for preparing silk fibers and films with persistent antimicrobial activity through use of metallic dyestuffs during the fiber dyeing process. The length of the silk fibers investigated contracted when the fibers were immersed in concentrated neutral salt solutions, such as calcium or potassium nitrate, at elevated temperature levels. The birefringence and molecular orientation of the silk fibroin molecules became less ordered by the action of the neutral salt solutions, resulting in increased dyestuff absorption. Subsequently, contracted silk fibers were dyed with metallic dyestuffs containing Cr or Cu for the purpose of obtaining silk fibers with antimicrobial activity. Silk fibers dyed with metallic dyestuffs showed significant antimicrobial activity against the plant pathogen Cornebacterium and the human pathogen Coli bacillus. Tensile strength of the silk fibers after the salt shrinking and dyeing processes did not show a significant change, whereas the elongation at break was increased slightly. The techniques described here for preparing significantly active antimicrobial silk fibers are effective and economic ways of providing new materials for industrial and biomedical applications. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper deals with the epoxide treatment of silk fabrics by the pad/batch method. The optimum reaction conditions, i.e., NaOH concentration, and reaction temperature were 2.5 g/L and 30°C, respectively. A weight gain of 8.5% was attained at a reaction time of 6 h. This value slightly increased to 10% after 24 h. The reactivity of tyrosine and basic amino acid residues was dependent on the reaction time and did not significantly differ from the results of epoxide-treated silk fiber by the conventional method in tetrachloroethylene. The moisture regain slightly decreased at 4% weight gain and then increased with the epoxide content, exceeding the value of the untreated control. The crease recovery of the epoxide-treated silk fabrics measured in the wet state was significantly improved, whereas that in the dry state was almost unchanged. The rate of photoyellowing of the epoxide-treated silk fabrics by the pad/batch method was reduced significantly compared with that of the untreated control. Among the mechanical properties, elongation at break and tensile modulus remained unchanged, whereas the tensile strength slightly increased following the epoxide reaction. The thermal properties were evaluated by DSC and TGA and on the basis of the dynamic viscoelastic measurements. The DSC curve of the epoxide-treated sample showed a slight increase of the decomposition temperature of silk fibroin. The rate of weight loss determined by TGA remained unchanged regardless of the chemical modification, whereas the peak of loss modulus became broader and shifted to lower temperature. The X-ray diffractograms showed that the crystalline structure of silk fibers was not affected by the reaction with epoxides. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

We propose simple models to predict the performance degradation of disk requests due to storage device contention in consolidated virtualized environments. Model parameters can be deduced from measurements obtained inside Virtual Machines (VMs) from a system where a single VM accesses a remote storage server. The parameterized model can then be used to predict the effect of storage contention when multiple VMs are consolidated on the same server. We first propose a trace-driven approach that evaluates a queueing network with fair share scheduling using simulation. The model parameters consider Virtual Machine Monitor level disk access optimizations and rely on a calibration technique. We further present a measurement-based approach that allows a distinct characterization of read/write performance attributes. In particular, we define simple linear prediction models for I/O request mean response times, throughputs and read/write mixes, as well as a simulation model for predicting response time distributions. We found our models to be effective in predicting such quantities across a range of synthetic and emulated application workloads.  相似文献

A review of literature data for nitric oxide decomposition over Cu-ZSM-5 catalysts leads us to conclude that the turnover frequency depends on the Si/Al atomic ratio in a way opposite to the trend suggested by Iwamoto and co-workers and considered correct by Shelef in a recent letter published in this Journal. In particular we show that the turnover frequency increases with the number of Al atoms per unit cell (i.e. decreasing the Si/Al atomic ratio). This result suggests that the most active sites for NO decomposition over Cu-ZSM-5 catalysts may contain two close copper ions.  相似文献

Lymphocyte subpopulations were studied in 31 men working in a plant producing plastic materials in relation with control groups of similar age and smoking habit. 8 workers (group A) were exposed to solvents (mainly methylethylketone and dimethylformamide), 8 men (group B) to dust containing particles of calcium carbonate, polyvinylchloride, phtalates, unsaturated oils, paraffin wax, iron oxides, titanium bioxides, barium, zinc and lead and 15 men (group C), working in the same department as group B, were studied after a period of 16 months during which lead chromate was employed in the preparation of colors. The lymphocyte subpopulations were normal in group A, while in B there was a significant increase of HLA-DR + cells (monocytes, B and activated T lymphocytes). In group C, T helper/inducer lymphocytes (mainly CD4(+)-CD45RO- "virgin" lymphocytes), CD19+ B lymphocytes, CD3-HLADR+ and CD3-CD25+ (activated B lymphocytes and monocytes) were significantly reduced without changes of serum IgM, IgG and IgA. Highly significant correlation was found between B lymphocytes (reduced in the workers about 40%) and CD4(+)-CD45R0+ "memory" lymphocytes (reduced about 20%). Moreover, blood lead (correlated with urinary chromium) showed a highly significant negative correlation with the B lymphocytes. This study demonstrates that combined exposure to toxic agents produces specific modifications in the lymphocyte subsets without changes in immunoglobulins and confirms the results of previous researches showing that the exposure to lead or chromate induces reduction of lymphocytes in the peripheral blood.  相似文献

Coplanar Al/graphene/Al junctions fabricated on the same graphene sheet deposited on silicon carbide (SiC), show robust Josephson coupling at subKelvin temperature, when the separations between the electrodes is below 400 nm. Remarkably, a hysteretic Critical State sets in when ramping an orthogonal magnetic field, with a sudden collapse of the Josephson critical current I c when turning the field on, and a revival of I c when inverting the sweep. Similar hysteresis can be found in granular superconducting films which may undergo the Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless transition. Here, we give quantitative arguments to prove that this odd behavior of the magnetoconductance gives evidence for an incipient Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless transition with drift and pinning of fluctuating free vortices induced by the current bias.  相似文献

This paper shows how to build in a computationally efficient way a maximum simulated likelihood procedure to estimate the Cox–Ingersoll–Ross model from multivariate time series. The advantage of this estimator is that it takes into account the exact likelihood function while avoiding the huge computational burden associated with MCMC methods and without the ad hoc assumption that certain bond yields are measured without error. The proposed methodology is implemented and tested on simulated data. For realistic parameter values the estimator seems to have good small sample properties, compared to the popular quasi maximum likelihood approach, even using moderate simulation sizes. The effect of simulation errors does not seem to undermine the estimation procedure.  相似文献

Context:How can quality of software systems be predicted before deployment? In attempting to answer this question, prediction models are advocated in several studies. The performance of such models drops dramatically, with very low accuracy, when they are used in new software development environments or in new circumstances.ObjectiveThe main objective of this work is to circumvent the model generalizability problem. We propose a new approach that substitutes traditional ways of building prediction models which use historical data and machine learning techniques.MethodIn this paper, existing models are decision trees built to predict module fault-proneness within the NASA Critical Mission Software. A genetic algorithm is developed to combine and adapt expertise extracted from existing models in order to derive a “composite” model that performs accurately in a given context of software development. Experimental evaluation of the approach is carried out in three different software development circumstances.ResultsThe results show that derived prediction models work more accurately not only for a particular state of a software organization but also for evolving and modified ones.ConclusionOur approach is considered suitable for software data nature and at the same time superior to model selection and data combination approaches. It is then concluded that learning from existing software models (i.e., software expertise) has two immediate advantages; circumventing model generalizability and alleviating the lack of data in software-engineering.  相似文献
