Recently, the demand of the information storage devices with large storage capacity such as Blu-ray Disc and high-definition television is increased. In keeping with this trend, the optical storage devices are also required to have high data transfer rate and large storage capacity. To satisfy these requirements, the actuator for optical disc drive should have a high servo bandwidth to compensate the vibration of optical disc. The servo bandwidth is limited by some flexible modes of the actuator, thus it is essential to make these frequencies of flexible modes to high frequency region. The frequency of flexible mode depends on materials and shape. Stiff materials and simple shape is useful to increase the frequency of flexible mode. In this paper, we suggested a moving magnet type actuator having flexible modes which are happened at high frequency region. Generally, the moving magnet type actuator has an advantage to increase the frequency of flexible mode because the moving magnet type actuator has simple structure and the Young’s modulus of magnet is high. However, large moving mass and inefficiency of Electromagnetic (EM) circuit cut down driving sensitivities of actuator. To improve driving sensitivities, we designed the model with the closed EM circuit for tracking actuation. The design of experiments (DOE) procedure is applied to get proper design parameters and the variable metric method (VMM) which is a technique of optimization is used to improve driving sensitivity. The lens holder is also improved based on the optimization result of EM circuit. And to make up for the low efficiency of EM circuit, the thermal stability is checked on condition that the input current is very high. At last, the final design of moving magnet type actuator is suggested and it is verified that the driving performance and the structural stiffness of the final design is sufficient.  相似文献

The rotational spectrum of (CH3OH)2 has been observed in the 8 to 24 GHz region with a pulsed-beam Fabry-Perot cavity Fourier-transform microwave spectrometer. Previously we demonstrated that each transition of the a-type R(J), Ka = 0 is split into 15 states of the 16 theoretically expected states by tunneling motions. Here we show that the K = 1 states are split into the 16 expected states through the assignment of the Ka = 1 a-type transitions and DeltaKa = 1 b-type transitions. The internal-rotation analysis of the two inequivalent methyl groups presented here was guided by the previous experimental observations and theory for multidimensional tunneling, which predicts 16 tunneling components for each R(J) transition from 25 distinct tunneling motions. The effective barrier to internal rotation for the donor methyl group of (CH3OH)2 is V3 = 183.0 cm-1, and is one-half of the value for the methanol monomer (370 cm-1), while the barrier to internal rotation of the acceptor methyl group is 120 cm-1, one-third of the methanol monomer. The structure of the methanol dimer complex is similar to that of water dimer with a hydrogen bond distance of 1.96(2) A and tilt of the acceptor methanol of 77(2)degrees from the O-H-O axis (one standard deviation uncertainty). OBJECTIVE: In the white population, an association between oculo(dermal) melanocytosis (ODM) and uveal melanoma is well recognized. However, the lifetime prevalence of uveal melanoma in the ODM population is not known. This study was designed to determine the lifetime prevalence of uveal melanoma among patients with ocular melanocytosis. DESIGN: Fifty-six white patients manifesting ODM with uveal melanoma formed the basis of the study. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Published prevalence rates of ODM and uveal melanoma were used for calculations using Bayes' theorem. RESULTS: The lifetime prevalence of uveal melanoma in white patients with ODM is estimated to be 2.6 x 10(-3). The median age at diagnosis of uveal melanoma in the ODM population was similar to a randomly selected population (60.5 years and 62.5 years, respectively). In the vast majority of patients (90%) with ODM-associated uveal melanoma, the uveal melanoma was diagnosed between the ages of 31 years and 80 years. CONCLUSIONS: One of about 400 patients with ODM followed for life is estimated to develop uveal melanoma. Excessive melanocytes in the uveal tract in ODM may provide the biologic basis for susceptibility to the development of uveal melanoma. Patients with ODM should be monitored ophthalmoscopically, especially during the susceptible period, for the development of uveal melanoma. The authors suggest that a national registry of ODM patients be created and prospective data collected to better assess the risk of developing uveal melanoma.  相似文献

An 81-year-old woman in whom liver dysfunction had been pointed out 3 years previously was diagnosed as having liver cirrhosis due to lupoid hepatitis. Considering the poor prognosis of cirrhosis and her age, immunosuppressive therapy was not adopted. Nine months later, a small liver tumor was found by ultrasonography and was diagnosed as hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The tumor was treated with transcatheter arterial embolization, but grew continuously. She also developed gingival lymphoma that was successfully treated. Three years after initial diagnosis of lupoid hepatitis, she died of hepatic failure. An autopsy was performed and confirmed the clinical diagnosis, liver cirrhosis with HCC. HCC is regarded as a rare complication of lupoid hepatitis, but cases of HCC complicating lupoid hepatitis may increase with progress in treatment methods and elongation of survival. The present case suggests that any malignancy can be developed in long-term surviving patients with lupoid hepatitis.  相似文献

This paper describes an optimum structural design of a CFRP isogrid cylindrical shell using a genetic algorithm (GA). When the CFRP isogrid cylindrical shell receives a prescribed uniaxial compressive load, an objective is to minimize weight of the CFRP isogrid cylindrical shell subjected to the constraint conditions of no buckling and no material failure. The buckling and material failure loads were approximated by a response surface method combined with partitioning of design spaces and these approximated values were used in the process of GA instead of FEM calculations in order to reduce the computational time. Furthermore, the differences from the constraint conditions of the linear or the non-linear (local) buckling loads were also calculated and their results were compared with each other.  相似文献

Glucose metabolism in glycolysis and in mitochondria is pivotal to glucose-induced insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells. One or more factors derived from glycolysis other than pyruvate appear to be required for the generation of mitochondrial signals that lead to insulin secretion. The electrons of the glycolysis-derived reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) are transferred to mitochondria through the NADH shuttle system. By abolishing the NADH shuttle function, glucose-induced increases in NADH autofluorescence, mitochondrial membrane potential, and adenosine triphosphate content were reduced and glucose-induced insulin secretion was abrogated. The NADH shuttle evidently couples glycolysis with activation of mitochondrial energy metabolism to trigger insulin secretion.  相似文献

In general, the enzymes of thermophilic organisms are more resistant to thermal denaturation than are those of mesophilic or psychrophilic organisms. Further, as is true for their mesophilic and psychrophilic counterparts, the activities of thermophilic enzymes are smaller at temperatures that are less than the optimal temperature. In an effort to characterize the properties that would improve its activity at temperatures less than the optimal, we subjected the thermostable Sulfolobus tokodaii (S. tokodaii) 3-isopropylmalate dehydrogenase to two rounds of random mutagenesis and selected for improved low-temperature activity using an in vivo recombinant Escherichia coli system. Five dehydrogenase mutants were purified and their catalytic properties and thermostabilities characterized. The mutations favorably affect the K(m) values for NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) and/or the k(cat) values. The results of thermal stability measurements show that, although the mutations somewhat decrease the stability of the enzyme, the mutants are still very resistant to heat. The locations and properties of the mutations found for the S. tokodaii enzyme are compared with those found for the previously isolated low-temperature adapted mutants of the homologous Thermus thermophilus enzyme. However, there are few, if any, common properties that enhance the low-temperature activities of both enzymes; therefore, there may be many ways to improve the low-temperature catalytic activity of a thermostable enzyme.  相似文献

In this paper, we present an efficient approach for technology scaling of MOS analog circuits by using circuit optimization techniques. Our new method is based on matching equivalent circuit parameters between a previously designed circuit and the circuit undergoing redesign. This method has been applied to a MOS operational amplifier. We were able to produce a redesigned circuit with almost the same performance in under 4 h, making this method 5 times more efficient than conventional methods.  相似文献
