In this paper, we present a new sufficient condition for absolute stability of Lure system with two additive time-varying delay components. This criterion is expressed as a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be readily tested by using standard numerical software. We use this new criterion to stabilize a class of nonlinear time-delay systems. Some numerical examples are given to illustrate the applicability of the results using standard numerical software.  相似文献

The reaction of 5-arylidene-4-arylimino-2-thiazolidinones 4 with GRIGNARD reagents effected 1,4-addition to the exocyclic  CC bond with the formation of 5 . Alkylation of the arylidene derivatives 4 with diazomethane or methyl iodide results in the formation of the N-methyl derivatives 6 . Treatment of 6 with phenylmagnesium bromide effects addition of the reagent to the double bond of the lateral chain to yield products, proved to have structure 8 . Alport syndrome (AS) is a hereditary renal disorder with no etiological therapy. In the preclinical Col4a3-/- model of AS, disease progression and severity vary depending on mouse strain. The sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) is emerging as an attractive therapeutic target in cardiac/renal pathologies, but its application to AS remains untested. This study investigates cardiorespiratory function and SGLT2 renal expression in Col4a3-/- mice from three different genetic backgrounds, 129x1/SvJ, C57Bl/6 and Balb/C. male Col4a3-/- 129x1/SvJ mice displayed alterations consistent with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Female, but not male, C57Bl/6 and Balb/C Col4a3-/- mice exhibited mild changes in systolic and diastolic function of the heart by echocardiography. Male C57Bl/6 Col4a3-/- mice presented systolic dysfunction by invasive hemodynamic analysis. All strains except Balb/C males demonstrated alterations in respiratory function. SGLT2 expression was significantly increased in AS compared to WT mice from all strains. However, cardiorespiratory abnormalities and SGLT2 over-expression were significantly less in AS Balb/C mice compared to the other two strains. Systolic blood pressure was significantly elevated only in mutant 129x1/SvJ mice. The results provide further evidence for strain-dependent cardiorespiratory and hypertensive phenotype variations in mouse AS models, corroborated by renal SGLT2 expression, and support ongoing initiatives to develop SGLT2 inhibitors for the treatment of AS.  相似文献

Discrete time queueing systems have been successfully used to model packet queues in computer and digital communications systems. In this article we introduce a novel approach to analyzing the GeoX/GeoY/∞ queueing system, which is suitable for modelling high speed computer and communications systems. The approach is based on characterizing the system by a functional equation which is then solved recursively to give identical results to those obtained using other approaches.  相似文献

This paper presents a comparison between the traditional image processing method and the area vector concept as well as the new technique of artificial neural networks. Freeman chain coding is considered in the study, and the principle of segmentation may be based and implemented for further investigations resulting from the proposed work. The pattern recognition concept is analyzed and defined through the sigmoid function and the determination of the threshold of a gray image for an object. The block schemes for the given protocols are summarized in a single scheme for illustration and comparison purposes. The synthetic pictures are generated and investigated regarding the dependence of computer vision on the contents of the artificial neural network. The normalization technique is included to eliminate noise and zooming problems. The minimum computational time for image processing with the generated pictures is also determined. The rate of deflection in the computational time is recommended for sensing the minimum computational time according to the variation of the number of hidden units in the hidden layer. A three-layer neural network has been used. The study of gray binary imaging for color pictures is illustrated to save computational time and effort.  相似文献

In this paper, the context of modeling of the impact of mismatch and statistical variations on analogue circuit building blocks is emphasized. The aim is to develop a new algorithm which predicts the statistical behavior of important parameters of an amplifier including output resistance, voltage gain and trans-conductance. The relative error of standard deviation of statistical parameters will remain less than 5% compared with the most accurate Monte-Carlo (MC) simulations using atomistic library model-cards. In comparison with other models which are based on the normal distribution of parameters, the proposed model does not need this limiting presumption. On the other hand, the proposed algorithm is more efficient compared with time consuming MC atomistic simulations.  相似文献

Hybrid cascode feedforward compensation (HCFC) is an effective technique to stabilize nano-scale three-stage amplifiers driving ultra-large load capacitors. It divides the compensation capacitance and shares it between two high-speed local feedback loops embedded within the amplifier core. In this article, a systematic approach to analyze the transfer function and to evaluate the pole expressions of nano-scale HCFC amplifiers is presented. For the first time, the equivalent output impedance is successfully modeled to approximate the complicated transfer function of the HCFC amplifier without the need for lengthy pencil-and-paper calculations. An HCFC amplifier is designed and simulated in 90-nm CMOS technology, to verify the effectiveness of the new analytic approach. The simulated transfer function of the amplifier is almost identical to a calculated transfer function derived based on the new model.  相似文献

We illustrate unique examples of low-power tunable analog circuits built using independently driven nanoscale DG-MOSFETs, where the top gate response is altered by application of a control voltage on the bottom gate. In particular, we provide examples for a single-ended CMOS amplifier pair, a Schmitt trigger circuit and a operational transconductance amplifier C filter, circuit blocks essential for low-noise high-performance integrated circuits for analog and mixed-signal applications. The topologies and biasing schemes explored here show how the nanoscale DG-MOSFETs may be used for efficient, tolerant and smaller circuits with tunable characteristics.  相似文献
