This paper deals with the H ?? filtering problem for a class of nonlinear systems. This class of nonlinear systems is composed of a bilinear part and of a lipschitzian one. The use of an unbiasedness condition for the bilinear part (called quasi unbiasedness condition) permits to parameterize the filter matrices through a single gain. Two LPV (Linear Parameter Varying) extensions of the bounded real lemma are used to solve the filtering problem. This approach reduces the conservatism inherent to the boundedness of the inputs. Then the filtering solution is expressed in terms of LMI (Linear Matrix Inequality) to be verified at the vertices of a polytope. A numerical example is finally given to illustrate our approach.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the H filters design for singular bilinear systems. The approach is based on the parameterized solution of a set of constrained Sylvester equations. The exponential convergence and l 2 gain attenuation problems are solved by using the bounded real lemma, which leads to linear matrix inequalities (LMI) formulation. Finally, a detailed design procedure is given for the estimation of the states of a flexible joint robot, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper deals with the robust observer‐based control design for a class of Lipschitz nonlinear discrete‐time systems with parameter uncertainties. Based on the use of a reformulated Lipschitz property combined with the slack variable techniques and some mathematical artifacts, it is shown that the solution of the discrete‐time output feedback stabilization problem is conditioned by a set of bilinear matrix inequalities, which become linear matrix inequalities by freezing some scalars. Furthermore, we show that some existing and elegant results reported in the literature can be regarded as particular cases of the stability conditions presented here. Reconstruction of the burial history and thermal evolution of the Cretaceous – Tertiary Termit Basin, a sub‐basin within the larger Eastern Niger Basin of Niger, indicates spatially and temporally variable conditions for organic matter maturation during the basin's multi‐phased evolution. Three episodes of tectonic subsidence which correspond to the observed fault mechanical stratigraphy within the Termit Basin are identified: Late Cretaceous, Maastrichtian to early Paleocene, and Oligocene. These episodes fall within the regional tectonic phases of the West African Rift System delineated by previous studies. The basin exhibits substantial heterogeneity in the magnitude of the tectonic episodes and in consequent thermal maturities. For this paper, 1D burial and thermal histories of eight widely dispersed wells in the Agadem permit area in the SW of the Termit Graben were modelled to investigate the maturation of organic matter in source rocks ranging from Santonian to Oligocene in age. The kinetic modelled maturities match with maturities based on Rock‐Eval Tmax values for four wells if present‐day heat flows are elevated. Future exploration strategies in the Termit Basin should take into consideration these heterogeneities in thermal histories and tectonic pulses, which may lead to the development of hydrocarbon accumulations with different oil‐gas compositions in different reservoir compartments.  相似文献

In 1997, the reduction of child mortality became a policy priority for the Government of Niger because Niger's child mortality rate was the highest in the world. The Ministry of Public Health, Helen Keller International (HKI), and UNICEF spearheaded a coalition-building process linking vitamin A deficiency (VAD) control to national child survival goals. An evidence-based advocacy strategy was developed around the child survival benefits of adequate and sustained VAD control with one unambiguous message: "VAD control can avert over 25,000 child deaths per year." As a result, in 1997 Niger became one of the first countries in Africa to effectively integrate vitamin A supplementation into National Immunization Days (NIDs) for polio eradication. The challenge was then to provide children with a second annual dose of vitamin A. This led in 1999 to the first ever National Micronutrient Days (NMDs) in Africa. NMDs are mobilization campaigns in which caregivers are actively encouraged to take their children for the delivery of vitamin A supplements. Since 1999, the combination of NIDs and NMDs has ensured that over 80% of children 6 to 59 months of age receive two vitamin A doses annually. The success of NIDs/NMDs has relied on five pillars: leadership and ownership by the Ministry of Public Health; district-level planning and implementation; effective training and flexible delivery mechanisms; effective social information, communication, and mobilization; and responsiveness and flexibility of Ministry of Public Health and development partners. This successful approach has been widely disseminated, notably through the West African Nutrition Focal Points Network.  相似文献

In the Provence coal basin, the HBCM company mines lignite at great depths. Several measurements of the natural stresses were carried out using flat jack and hydraulic fracturing. A strong stress anisotropy and high stresses were observed. To interpret these measurements, large scale numerical modelling is used. This study presents a comparison between the predicted natural stresses and those measured during field investigations. Three models are successively developed and loaded on the basis of assumptions about current tectonics and historical tectonics. Calculations lead to a better explanation of the orientations and magnitudes of the principal stresses which are not in contradiction with the observation of a NE-SW stress deviation in the vicinity of the area where the measurements were carried out. It appears that the natural stresses in the Arc depend mostly on the major geological structures in comparison to the loading type. The results indicate that there is a relatively good match between predicted and measured stress magnitudes, and orientations. Finally, on the basis of a good estimation of the tectonic loading stages, it is possible to explain the distribution of the natural stresses in theArc syncline, even though the magnitudes of the tectonic stresses were unknown.  相似文献

This paper presents a new theorem to guarantee the almost sure exponential stability for a class of stochastic triangular systems by studying only the stability of each diagonal subsystems. This result allows to solve the filtering problem of the stochastic systems with multiplicative noises by using the almost sure exponential stability concept.
