ABSTRACT

The quality of user-generated content over World Wide Web media is a matter of serious concern for both creators and users. To measure the quality of content, webometric techniques are commonly used. In recent times, bibliometric techniques have been introduced to good effect for evaluation of the quality of user-generated content, which were originally used for scholarly data. However, the application of bibliometric techniques to evaluate the quality of YouTube content is limited to h-index and g-index considering only views. This paper advocates for and demonstrates the adaptation of existing Bibliometric indices including h-index, g-index and M-index exploiting both views and comments and proposes three indices hvc, gvc and mvc for YouTube video channel ranking. The empirical results prove that the proposed indices using views along with the comments outperform the existing approaches on a real-world dataset of YouTube.  相似文献

One of the most challenging issues facing vehicular networks lies in the design of an efficient MAC protocol due to the mobile nature of nodes and the interference associated with the dynamic environment. Moreover delay constraints for safety applications add complexity and latency requirements to the design. Existing MAC protocols overcome some challenges however don’t provide an integrated solution. Hence, the merit if this work lies in designing an efficient MAC protocol that incorporates various VANet’s challenges in a complete end-to-end solution. In this work, we propose an efficient Multichannel QoS Cognitive MAC (MQOG). MQOG assesses the quality of channel prior to transmission employing dynamic channel allocation and negotiation algorithms to achieve significant increase in channel reliability, throughput and delay constraints while simultaneously addressing Quality of Service. The uniqueness of MQOG lies in making use of the free unlicensed bands. The proposed protocols were implemented in OMNET++ 4.1, and extensive experiments demonstrated a faster and more efficient reception of safety messages compared to existing VANet MAC Protocols. Finally, improvements in delay, packet delivery ratios and throughput were captured.  相似文献

Mineralization of phenazopyridine, 1, in water, under solar-simulator radiation was efficiently achieved using nanoparticle CdS-sensitized rutile TiO2, TiO2/CdS, 2, as photo-catalysts. Despite that, 2 showed two main drawbacks. Firstly, the system was difficult to recover by simple filtration, and demanded centrifugation. Secondly, the sensitizer CdS showed relatively high tendency to leach out hazardous Cd2+ ions under photo-degradation reaction conditions. In an attempt to solve out such difficulties, 2 was supported onto sand surface. The sand/TiO2/CdS system, 3, was easier to recover but showed slightly lower catalytic activity compared to 2. On the other hand, the support failed to prevent leaching of Cd2+. This indicates limited future applicability of CdS-sensitized TiO2 photo-catalyst systems, in solar-based water purification strategies, unless leaching out tendency is completely prevented.  相似文献

The purpose of this research is to contribute to a better understanding of the concept of green building assessment tool and its role for achieving sustainable development through developing an effective green building rating system for residential units in Jordan in terms of the dimensions through which sustainable development tools are being produced and according to the local context. Developing such system is becoming necessary in the Developing World because of the considerable environmental, social and economical problems. Jordan as one of these countries is in need for this system, especially with poor resources and inefficient use. Therefore, this research studied international green building assessment tools such as such as LEED, CASBEE, BREEAM, GBTool, and others. Then defined new assessment items respecting the local conditions of Jordan and discussed them with (60) various stakeholders; 50% of them were experts of sustainable development. After selecting the assessment items they were weighted using the AHP method. The outcome of the research was a suggested green building assessment tool (SABA Green Building Rating System) – computer based program – that suits the Jordanian context in terms of environmental, social and economical perspectives.  相似文献

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a retinal disease that causes irreversible blindness. DR occurs due to the high blood sugar level of the patient, and it is clumsy to be detected at an early stage as no early symptoms appear at the initial level. To prevent blindness, early detection and regular treatment are needed. Automated detection based on machine intelligence may assist the ophthalmologist in examining the patients’ condition more accurately and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to produce an automated screening system for recognition and grading of diabetic retinopathy using machine learning through deep transfer and representational learning. The artificial intelligence technique used is transfer learning on the deep neural network, Inception-v4. Two configuration variants of transfer learning are applied on Inception-v4: Fine-tune mode and fixed feature extractor mode. Both configuration modes have achieved decent accuracy values, but the fine-tuning method outperforms the fixed feature extractor configuration mode. Fine-tune configuration mode has gained 96.6% accuracy in early detection of DR and 97.7% accuracy in grading the disease and has outperformed the state of the art methods in the relevant literature.  相似文献

This work includes synthesis of 2,2'-(5,5'-(ethane-1,2-diyl)bis(1,3,4-oxadiazole-5,2diyl))bis(sulfanediyl)dibenzenamine (EOSBE) and 2,2'-(5,5'-methylenebis(1,3,4-oxadiazole-5,2-diyl)bis(sulfanediyl))dibenzenamine (MOSBE). All synthesized ligands were characterized by IR, ^1H-NMR, ^13C-NMR, UV-visible spectroscopies and molar conductivity. A series of complexes with a general formula [M2LCl4]. Where M(Ⅱ) = Co, Ni, Cu and Zn; L = EOSBE and MOSBE were synthesized in basic media using KOH solution. In these complexes both ligands are bidentate ligands coordinated through sulfur and nitrogen. All complexes have been characterized by IR-spectra, UV-visiblc spectra, conductivity and magnetic susceptibility.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a simulation study for a newly prepared organic solar cell, based on a composite of poly (2-methoxy-5-(2′-ethylhexyloxy)-1, 4-phenylenevinylene (MEH-PPV) with [6, 6]-phenyl C60 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM). Photo-current density vs. voltage (J–V) characteristics, for the cell, which were experimentally studied earlier, have been revisited here. The results indicated that the conduction mechanism in the organic solar cell is strongly influenced by the excitonic diffusion. Sound correlation, between theoretical and experimental photo-current density vs. voltage (J–V) plots, has been achieved. Moreover, the simulation clearly demonstrates that the performance of the tested device can be described, with sound accuracy, by a two-diode-equivalent model.  相似文献

The effect of a temperature increase to 52 degrees C or the addition of ethanol (6%) to an exponential Escherichia coli culture on putrescine and potassium transport was studied. The first stage of heat shock was accompanied by a decrease in the extent of DNA supercoiling, due to the dissociation of the putrescine-DNA complex. The loss of potassium ions at this phase produced a synergistic effect. The second phase of the heat shock was characterized by a reversal in the direction of putrescine and potassium transport, which was accompanied by restoration of the prestress extent of DNA supercoiling. An increase in the ATP pool and cell energy charge resulting from the uncoupling of the energy metabolism and synthetic processes also played an important role in the restoration of the DNA initial topology at the second phase of the heat shock via the activation of the energy-dependent gyrase or the heat shock protein DnaK. A mechanism is suggested that explains the involvement of putrescine in the regulation of DNA topology, which is a universal regulator of gene expression under stress, heat shock in particular.  相似文献
