The synthesis of thermal-shock-resistant materials from the system Ta2O5WO3 was investigated. Ta2WO8 had a very low unit-cell thermal expansion coefficient (+0.5 X 10–6° C–1). Ta30W2O81 also had a relatively low coefficient (+4.0 X 10–6 ° C–1) and a thermal durability over 1600° C. The thermal expansion curves of these polycrystalline ceramics were lowered because of microcracks caused by the large thermal expansion anisotropy of the crystal axes and were accompanied by hysteresis loops. The densification of Ta2WO8 ceramic was promoted by the addition of some metal oxides, and the strong ceramic of Ta30W2O81 was obtained by controlling grain growth.  相似文献

Thin film formation of graphite by chemical vapor deposition using 2-methyl-1,2′-naphthyl ketone as a starting material was carried out on Ni film substrates. On Ni films directly deposited on quartz glass, the graphite films were obtained when the Ni film thickness was above 1 000 Å and above 5 000 Å at 700 °C and 1 000 °C, respectively. Depositions on thinner Ni film substrates comprise amorphous carbon (a-C) or graphite tubes which was owing to the thermal coagulation of the Ni film into droplets. On the other hand, graphite film was obtained on the Ni film with thickness 10 Å when a-C was inserted between the Ni film and the quartz glass. The coagulation of the Ni film is considered to be avoided by inserting a-C layer.  相似文献

The present work has concentrated on the structure of CO2 hydrate in the NPT ensemble using SPC (simple point charge) intermolecular potential model of water by the Monte Carlo (MC) molecular simulation. A mixture of water and CO2 placed arbitrarily in a cubic cell has been used as a model system to simulate the CO2 clathrate hydrate at temperatures ranging from 150–280 K and pressure up to 10 MPa. The result shows that the obtained MC simulation agrees well with the results obtained by molecular dynamic (MD) simulation. The present work is also directed to the study of structure with TIP4P potential model of water.  相似文献

A 77-year-old female was admitted to our hospital because of pyrexia and a right retroperitoneal mass. Leukocytosis and other inflammatory findings were noted. Bone-marrow aspiration revealed hypercellularity with no malignant cells. An additional mass was detected sonographically in the pelvis. The serum concentration of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) was highly elevated (299 pg/ml). The tumors were removed at laparotomy, and the pelvic mass was found to arise from the ileocecal mesentery. Postoperatively, white blood cell count and serum G-CSF concentrations decreased to normal levels. The mesenteric tumor showed weakly positive immunostaining for human G-CSF, and Northern and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analyses detected CSF and its mRNA in the mesenteric tumor.  相似文献

Composite materials composed of randomly dispersed semiconducting ceramic particles in an insulating polymer matrix show a pronounced change in resistivity with pressure. Different amounts of iron oxide (Fe3O4) powder and antimony-doped tin oxide (SnO2:Sb) powder were dispersed in an epoxy polymer matrix to form pressure-sensitive composites. In each family of materials, an insulator-to-semiconductor transition is observed in agreement with percolation theory. Composites within a certain range of filler content showed substantial piezoresistive effect under both uniaxial and hydrostatic pressure in which sensitivity is controlled by the choice of filler material and the volume fraction. The effect of temperature on the piezoresistance effect was also examined. Piezoresistors made from Fe3O4 composites showed larger temperature changes than those filled with Sb-doped SnO2.  相似文献

Thermal behaviors of a few kinds of poly(fluoroalkyl methacrylate) prepared by γ-or UV-ray polymerization were investigated by using thermogravimetric measurements with the intermittent analysis of the gaseous products. The degradation of fluoroalkyl methacrylate polymers, monomeric units of which were CH2=C(CH3)COOCH2(CF2CF2)nH, n = 1, 2, and 3, proceeded according to the depolymerization mechanism reproducing the pristine monomer exclusively, but the thermogram in inert atmosphere showed the features of a two-step reaction. Two species of polymer differing in the heat stability were supposed to exist in the polymeric substance produced by γ- or UV-ray irradiation, and the fraction of polymer having lower heat stability increased with the increasing length of the fluoroalkyl ester group. In air, however, the thermogram of poly(fluoroalkyl methacrylate) showed no such a stepwise weight decrease as was observed in inert atomsphere with the elevating temperature, and the temperatures at which the depolymerization was introduced shifted to a much higher region. The results were ascribed to the reaction of initiating polymer radicals produced on polymer having lower stability with oxygen to form hydroperoxide, which once stabilized the polymer radicals and obstructed the initiaition of the unzipping reaction till higher temperature.  相似文献

Thermal behaviors of a few kinds of poly(fluoroalkyl methacrylate-co-methyl methacrylate) prepared by γ-ray copolymerization were investigated by using thermogravimetric measurements together with the intermittent analysis of the gaseous products. The thermal degradation of copolymers composed of one of fluoroalkyl methacrylates of the following structures: CH2?C(CH3)COOCH2(CF2CF2)nH, where n = 1,2, and 3, and methyl methacrylate proceeded according to the depolymerization mechanism reproducing the pristine component comonomers exclusively, but their thermograms in inert atmosphere showed the feature of a two-step reaction. In air, however, thermograms of copolymers did not show such a stepwise decrease in weight with the elevating temperature, and temperatures at which depolymerization was introduced shifted to a much higher region. The overall aspects of depolymerization of copolymers seemed to be much similar to that of fluoroalkyl methacrylate homopolymer previously reported, and the retardation of depolymerization by air was considered to be due mainly to the stabilization of once-formed polymer radicals by oxygen.  相似文献

A simple synthetic method for preparing aragonite whiskers has been developed. A suspension of CaCl2-MgCl2-Mg(OH)2 with pH ∼9 has been prepared by adding Ca(OH)2 to MgCl2 aqueous solution. CaCO3 whiskers (aragonite phase) have been prepared easily by blowing CO2-containing gas into the suspension. The whiskers have high aspect ratios ranging from 20 to 80 with diameters of 0.5–1 μm .  相似文献
