To verify three important circuit schemes suitable for DRAMs in mobile applications, a 1.8-V 128-Mb SDRAM was implemented with a 0.15-/spl mu/m technology. To achieve an ideal 33% efficiency, the double boosting pump uses two capacitor's series connection at pumping phase, while they are precharged in parallel. The hybrid folded current sense amplifier together with a novel replica inverter connection improved power and speed performances. Also, a dual-referenced adjustment scheme for a temperature sensor was proposed to allow a very high accuracy in tuning. Without loss in productivity, the implemented dual-referenced searching technique achieved tuning error of less than /spl plusmn/2.5/spl deg/C.  相似文献

We investigated the protein binding affinity of magnetite (Fe3O4) and maghemite (gamma-Fe2O3) nanoparticles with against non-characterized protein from human lung cancer A549 cell line on sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The binding ability of maghemite was 400 ng/mg. According to the SDS-PAGE results, the protein binding affinity of maghemite nanoparticles is stronger than magnetite nanoparticles. These data suggest that a protein can be detected with maghemite nanoparticles.  相似文献

Summary This paper describes the synthesis and characterization of a new series of copolymers with a predominantly poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) backbone and phenyl and/or 4,4'-biphenyl structural units. Three copolymers, poly[oxyethylene]/poly[oxyphenylene] copolymer (1), poly[oxyethylene] /poly[oxybiphenylene] copolymer (2), and poly[oxyethylene]/poly[oxyphenylene]/poly [oxybiphenylene] copolymer (3), were prepared based on modifications of hydroquinone and/or 4,4'-biphenol copolymerized with dimesylates of various length poly(ethylene glycol)s (PEGs). Depending on their composition and chain length of PEGs used in the polymerization, the copolymers show liquid crystallinity or non-liquid crystallinity. This paper presents atomization characteristics of a double impinging F-O-O-F type injector with four streams. A phase Doppler particle analyzer was employed to measure the droplet-size and water was used as the inert simulant liquid instead of reactive propellant liquids. The droplet mean diameter (SMD) and size distribution were measured to investigate the effects of the momentum ratio and pressure drop variations. This experimental results can be used during the preliminary design stage of a impinging stream type injector for liquid rockets.  相似文献

Research and development on superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) system have been carried out to realize efficient electric power management for several decades. Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI) has developed a 3 MJ/750 kVA SMES system to improve power quality in sensitive electric loads. It consists of an IGBT based power converter, NbTi mixed matrix Rutherford cable superconducting magnet and a cryostat with HTS current leads. A computer code was developed to find the parameters of the SMES magnet which used minimum amount of superconductors for the same energy storage capability, and the 3 MJ SMES magnet was designed based upon that. This paper describes the fabrication and experimental results of the 3 MJ/750 kVA SMES system.  相似文献

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic, progressive, and irreversible degenerative joint disease. Conventional OA treatments often result in complications such as pain and limited activity. However, transplantation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) has several beneficial effects such as paracrine effects, anti-inflammatory activity, and immunomodulatory capacity. In addition, MSCs can be differentiated into several cell types, including chondrocytes, osteocytes, endothelia, and adipocytes. Thus, transplantation of MSCs is a suggested therapeutic tool for treatment of OA. However, transplanted naïve MSCs can cause problems such as heterogeneous populations including differentiated MSCs and undifferentiated cells. To overcome this problem, new strategies for inducing differentiation of MSCs are needed. One possibility is the application of microRNA (miRNA) and small molecules, which regulate multiple molecular pathways and cellular processes such as differentiation. Here, we provide insight into possible strategies for cartilage regeneration by transplantation of differentiated MSCs to treat OA patients.  相似文献

A tracer experiment using a radioisotope was carried out to investigate the characteristics of pollutant transport and to estimate the dispersion coefficients in a river system. A well-known radioisotope tracer technique was applied to measure the dispersion coefficients in Daejong river which is located in the southeast area in Korea. The dispersion coefficients were determined by moment, routing and analytical methods based on the measured radioisotope data. Two-dimensional numerical models were used to simulate the flow fields and the concentration distributions of the radioisotope injected into the river. The calculated results were compared with the measurements. As a comparative study, the computed concentration distributions agreed well in the case of the usage of the dispersion coefficients determined by the moment method.  相似文献

The drive current of a directly modulated semiconductor laser for optical parallel data communication was investigated by taking into account both the threshold current and the differential quantum efficiency which are defined from the cavity length and the mirror reflectivities. Then the drive current required for an error free data communication (bit error rate: BER<10-9) with the bit rate of 1 Gb/s was shown as a function of the threshold current with parameters of the cavity length and the mirror reflectivities. It was found that the laser cavity design which yields the minimum drive current is almost the same condition to achieve the minimum threshold current operation when the total system loss is low (<10 dB), whereas the cavity design for higher differential quantum efficiency is required when the total system loss is much higher. When the cavity length is 100 μm and the rear mirror reflectivity Rr is 0.99 for an example, the front mirror reflectivity Rf which gives the minimum drive current was obtained to be 0.94, 0.91, and 0.8 for the total system loss of 6, 10, and 20 dB, respectively  相似文献
