This work demonstrates the efficiency of almond gum polysaccharides (AGPs) as bioactive compounds. AGPs were first extracted using H2O2, in the presence of NaOH, at different times and temperatures. The optimal extraction conditions were 4% H2O2 and 2 N NaOH, for 7 h at 50 °C, leading to an extraction yield of 58.2% (w/w). After a purification step, the retained AGPs were characterised using high‐performance liquid chromatography showing a molecular weight of 99.3 kDa. The monosaccharide composition of AGPs were assessed using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. AGPs were found to be a complex heteropolysaccharide with a repeating unit mainly composed of galactose, arabinose, xylose, mannose, rhamnose, and glucuronic acid with the respective ratios: 45:26:7:10:1:11. The acidic nature of the polysaccharide is due to the presence of glucuronic acid. Total antioxidant activity, free radical‐scavenging activity and reducing power assay of AGPs were investigated. The obtained results showed high antioxidant activities of AGPs. Furthermore, beyond 60 mg mL?1, AGPs exhibited bacterial growth inhibition for five pathogenic strains: Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus feacalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Salmonella typhimurium.  相似文献

In this work, we studied in detail the magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of the La0.7Ca0.2Ba0.1MnO3 compound according to the phenomenological model. Based on this model, the magnetocaloric parameters such as the maximum of the magnetic entropy change ΔS M and the relative cooling power (RCP) have been determined from the magnetization data as a function of temperature at several magnetic fields. The theoretical predictions are found to closely agree with the experimental measurements, which make our sample a suitable candidate for refrigeration near room temperature. In addition, field dependences of \({{\Delta } S}_{\mathrm {M}}^{\max }\) and RCP can be expressed by the power laws \({\Delta S}_{\mathrm {M}}^{\max }\approx a\)(μ 0 H) n and RCP ≈b(μ 0 H) m , where a and b are coefficients and n and m are the field exponents, respectively. Moreover, phenomenological universal curves of entropy change confirm the second-order phase transition.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a video watermarking algorithm which embeds different parts of a single watermark into different shots of a video under the wavelet domain. Based on a Motion Activity Analysis, different regions of the original video are separated into perceptually distinct categories according to motion information and region complexity. Thus, the localizations of the watermark are adjusted adaptively in accordance with the human visual system and signal characteristics, which makes them perceptually invisible and less vulnerable to automated removal. In addition, contrary to traditional methods where the watermark remains at a fixed position on the screen, the watermark moves along with moving objects and thus motion artefacts can be avoid. The multi-frame based extraction strategy ensures that the watermark can be correctly recovered from a very short segment of video. Individual frames extracted from the video also contain watermark information. Experimental results show that the inserted watermark is not only less perceptible but also robust against common video processing attacks.  相似文献

Erucic acid‐enriched oil, sought for industrial purposes, from rapeseed (agronomic plant) and rocket seeds (non‐agronomic plant) was extracted by three different processes: supercritical CO2, mechanical expression, and hexane extraction. Oil extraction yields were determined and the extracted oils were characterized for their fatty acid and phenolic compound compositions. Higher oil yields were achieved using hexane compared to mechanical expression and supercritical CO2 extractions. Fatty acid analysis indicated a higher content of erucic acid in rapeseed oil than in rocket oil. In addition, supercritical CO2 extraction allowed better recovery of phenolic compounds with high antioxidant activities. The most prominent identified polyphenols were vanillin, sinapic acid, syringic acid, and apigenin.  相似文献

The structural and magnetic properties of cobaltites with the nominal composition La0.6?x Bi x Sr0.4CoO3 (0≤x≤0.15) have been investigated. X-ray diffraction analysis using Rietveld refinement show that all our samples crystallize in the rhombohedral structure. The zero field cooled (ZFC) and field cooled (FC) magnetization curves at 50 mT exhibits thermomagnetic irreversibility signature of short range ferromagnetic interactions in our samples. The ferromagnetic–paramagnetic transition temperature decreases with increasing Bi amount. In the paramagnetic phase, all our synthesized samples obey to the Curie–Weiss law. The Curie–Weiss analysis suggests that the spin state of Co3+ is IS while Co4+ ions are in IS for x=0 and LS for x≥0.05. The Bi doping also leads to a weakening in the magnetic moment. The magnetic entropy change exhibits a maximum value which decreases from 2.28 J/kg?K for x=0 to 1.24 J/kg?K for x=0.15 upon a magnetic field change of 5 T.  相似文献

The aim of this work was to investigate the effect of almond gum as dietary fibre source in enhancing the wheat bread quality. Different amounts of almond gum (2%, 5% and 10% (w/w)) were used in bread formulation. The volume, texture, crust and crumb colour, as well as the sensorial properties, were evaluated and compared to control (without almond gum). The obtained results showed that almond gum addition enhanced significantly the volume of bread. The highest volume was obtained using 2% almond gum concentration with 23.6% increase, compared to control. Using almond gum in bread formulation improved considerably its texture with a notable decrease in hardness by 61.7% and 42.5% when using 2% and 5% almond gum, respectively. The sensory analysis scores showed that the better overall acceptability was found for breads supplemented with 2% almond gum, as compared to control and breads supplemented with 5% or 10% almond gum.  相似文献

In this paper, the prediction of the magnetocaloric properties has been investigated in the La0.6Ca0.2Ba\(_{\mathrm {0.15}}\square _{\mathrm {0.05}}\)MnO3 system near the ferromagnetic-paramagnetic phase transition as a function of temperature. The data indicate that the La0.6Ca0.2Ba\(_{\mathrm {0.15}}\square _{\mathrm {0.05}}\)MnO3 system has potential application for magnetic refrigerants in an extended high-temperature range. In addition, the magnetic entropy change distribution is quite uniform, which is desirable for an Ericsson cycle magnetic refrigerator.  相似文献

An exhaustive study of structural, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties on La1.95Sr0.05BMnO6 (B?=?Ni and Co) double perovskite were performed. The samples were prepared by the sol–gel method. The crystallographic structure was studied by the X-ray diffraction patterns and Rietveld refinement which revealed that all samples crystallize in a monoclinic structure with P21/n space group. The magnetic behaviors of these double perovskite have been studied in detail. For La1.95Sr0.05NiMnO6, the M(T) curves exhibit double magnetization transition temperature at 68 K and 266 K which can be ascribed to Ni3+–O–Mn3+ and Ni2+–O–Mn4+ superexchange interaction, respectively. However, unique magnetic transition has been observed for the La1.95Sr0.05CoMnO6 double perovskite at 210 K due to Co2+–O–Mn4+ superexchange interaction. A deep investigation based on the Landau Theory and Arrot analysis confirmed a second order ferromagnetic phase transition for both samples. Besides, the magnetocaloric behaviors of these new samples have been studied by analysis the magnetic entropy change. This latter reached maximum values of 1.01 and 1.35 J/kg/K for La1.95Sr0.05NiMnO6 and La1.95Sr0.05CoMnO6, respectively, under µ0H?=?5 T. Moreover, the relative cooling power values for La1.95Sr0.05NiMnO6 and La1.95Sr0.05CoMnO6 are found to be 94 J/kg and 116 J/kg, respectively, under µ0H?=?5 T. Based on the obtained ΔSM data, we have also described the universal master curve for (ΔSM/\(\Delta S_{M}^{{\hbox{max} }}\)) versus rescaled temperature to confirm the order magnetic phase transition. Interestingly, all the ΔSM(T, H) data points are collapsed into a universal curve in the whole temperature range. The significant values of relative cooling power for both samples suggest that they might be an interesting candidate for exploring a new kind of magnetic refrigerants.  相似文献
