A structured in-depth interview employing standardized criteria was used to determine the prevalence of lifetime and current alcohol dependence (alcoholism) in unselected consecutive patients admitted to a regional Level I trauma center. Of 629 patients, 157 (25.0%) were current alcoholics at the time of injury. An additional 87 (13.8%) were diagnosed as lifetime non-current alcoholics. There was no significant difference in the rates of current alcohol dependence among patients injured in vehicular crashes (23.5%), other unintentional trauma victims (29.3%), and those injured as a result of violence (24.6%). Of BAC + (blood alcohol concentration positive) patients, 54.5% were current alcoholics. However, 14.4% of alcohol-negative patients were also diagnosed as alcohol dependent. 相似文献

This paper presents an overview of progress in the area of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) space-time coded wireless systems. After some background on the research leading to the discovery of the enormous potential of MIMO wireless links, we highlight the different classes of techniques and algorithms proposed which attempt to realize the various benefits of MIMO including spatial multiplexing and space-time coding schemes. These algorithms are often derived and analyzed under ideal independent fading conditions. We present the state of the art in channel modeling and measurements, leading to a better understanding of actual MIMO gains. The Arg–Gly–Asp (RGD) peptide shows a high affinity for αvβ3 integrin, which is overexpressed in new tumor blood vessels and many types of tumor cells. The radiolabeled RGD peptide has been studied for cancer imaging and radionuclide therapy. We have developed a long-term tumor-targeting peptide DOTA-EB-cRGDfK, which combines a DOTA chelator, a truncated Evans blue dye (EB), a modified linker, and cRGDfK peptide. The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential of indium-111(111In) radiolabeled DOTA-EB-cRGDfK in αvβ3 integrin-expressing tumors. The human glioblastoma cell line U-87 MG was used to determine the in vitro binding affinity of the radiolabeled peptide. The in vivo distribution of radiolabeled peptides in U-87 MG xenografts was investigated by biodistribution, nanoSPECT/CT, pharmacokinetic and excretion studies. The in vitro competition assay showed that 111In-DOTA-EB-cRGDfK had a significant binding affinity to U-87 MG cancer cells (IC50 = 71.7 nM). NanoSPECT/CT imaging showed 111In-DOTA-EB-cRGDfK has higher tumor uptake than control peptides (111In-DOTA-cRGDfK and 111In-DOTA-EB), and there is still a clear signal until 72 h after injection. The biodistribution results showed significant tumor accumulation (27.1 ± 2.7% ID/g) and the tumor to non-tumor ratio was 22.85 at 24 h after injection. In addition, the pharmacokinetics results indicated that the 111In-DOTA-EB-cRGDfK peptide has a long-term half-life (T1/2λz = 77.3 h) and that the calculated absorbed dose was safe for humans. We demonstrated that radiolabeled DOTA-EB-cRGDfK may be a promising agent for glioblastoma tumor imaging and has the potential as a theranostic radiopharmaceutical. 相似文献

radiation, we investigated the temperature dependence of the dehydrogenation of cyclohexene (C6H10) adsorbed on Pt nanoclusters supported on an ultra-thin film of Al2O3/NiAl(100). The Pt clusters, grown by vapor deposition, are structurally ordered and exhibit a mean diameter 2.2 nm and height
0.4 nm. The progress of dehydrogenation was monitored through the temporal variation of C 1s photoelectron spectra; analysis
of these features revealed that the dehydrogenation of cyclohexene with increasing sample temperature occurs as a sequential
process beginning around 150 K, a temperature significantly less than that for Pt single-crystal surfaces. The dehydrogenation

“Creative development” and “creativity” have become important topics in the field of education research. The assessment of creativity is a key to understanding how instructional strategies influences the creative process and the output of learners. At present, most methods of assessing creativity are paper-and-pencil tests scored by individuals. Despite the professional training of evaluators, subjectivity in scoring assessments remains inevitable. Therefore, a completely objective tool of measurement is crucial for the progress of education to eliminate the subjectivity in manual grading. This paper presents at first place a review of the literature related to the development of creativity, the assessment of creativity, and further on the means of measuring creativity, particularly in a digital game environment. Our focus is on the application of computing technologies for the assessment of creativity, while exploring the possibility of using computerized systems such as fuzzy logic and hybrid methods to produce objective measurement results. The results of Pearson correlation coefficient between the fuzzy inference scores and the Williams CAP scores is 0.805, which shows the strong construct validity. Additionally, the fuzzy inference system can eliminate subjectivity in scoring and provide analysis results to enhance creativity, unlike paper-and-pencil scores provided without explanations. 相似文献

Topology control can enhance energy efficiency and prolong network lifetime for wireless sensor networks. Several studies that attempted to solve the topology control problem focused only on topology construction or maintenance. This work designs a novel distributed and reliable energy-efficient topology control (RETC) algorithm for topology construction and maintenance in real application environments. Particularly, many intermittent links and accidents may result in packet loss. A reliable topology can ensure connectivity and energy efficiency, prolonging network lifetime. Thus, in the topology construction phase, a reliable topology is generated to increase network reachable probability. In the topology maintenance phase, this work applies a novel dynamic topology maintenance scheme to balance energy consumption using a multi-level energy threshold. This topology maintenance scheme can trigger the topology construction algorithm to build a new network topology with high reachable probability when needed. Integrating information from multiple data sources is becoming increasingly important for enterprises that partner with other companies for e‐commerce. However, companies have their internal business applications deployed on diverse platforms and no standard solution for integrating information from these sources exists. To support business intelligence query activities, it is useful to build a data warehouse on top of middleware that aggregates the data obtained from various heterogeneous database systems. Online analytical processing (OLAP) can then be used to provide fast access to materialized views from the data warehouse. Since extensible markup language (XML) documents are a common data representation standard on the Internet and relational tables are commonly used for production data, OLAP must handle both relational and XML data. SQL and XQuery can be used to process the materialized relational and XML data cubes created from the aggregated data. In practical electro-pneumatic or hydraulic servo mechanism, there is usually an unavoidable operating delay time in the solenoid
valves. This may sometimes cause closed-loop instability if the time delay is not treated carefully in the control system
designs. Furthermore, pneumatic actuators can offer high performance at low cost, but are often suffered from external disturbances
depending on the operating conditions. This paper proposes a non-model-based design approach for pneumatic actuating systems.
In the proposed control system, a gain scheduled fuzzy-PID controller ensures tracking performance an adaptable wavelet neuro
compensator compensates for time-delay of the control valve, and a disturbance rejecter diminishes influence from load changes.
