Properties of porous cast charges based on mixtures of ammonium nitrate and carbamide

The explosive and physicochemical properties of porous mixtures based on ammonium nitrate, carbamide, and aluminum powder are considered. A melting curve for the ammonium nitrate/carbamide system is plotted using differential scanning calorimetry. The critical detonation diameter is obtained for a charge density of 0.6–0.7 g/cm³. The dependence of the charge density on the degree of filling of the mold with the melt is determined. Detonation velocity is measured for various densities. An explanation of the difference between the experimental and calculated values is proposed.     

Surgical treatment of lymphadenopathy in children

Clinical observations of 1365 children with the lymph nodes affection were summarized. The diagnosis verification was conducted using the broad arsenal of general clinical and special methods of investigation. In complicated situations the histochemical and immunogenetic methods were applied for the diagnosis. The structure and dynamics of children's morbidity with lymphadenopathies (LAP) was studied up, the age, sexual and seasonal peculiarities were systematized, the analysis of primary localizations and clinico-morphological comparisons was conducted. The basic thesises of the standardized approach were elaborated on the ground of the diagnostical and tactical mistakes results analysis.

Nickel galvanochemical coating modified by carbon nanotubes

The structure and microhardness of a nanocomposite nickel galvanochemical coating formed with Watts electrolyte and containing 60 mg/dm³ carbon nanotubes are studied. An addition of carbon nanotubes to the electrolyte leads to a substantial modification of the morphology and texture of grains, grain refinement, and an increase in the coating microhardness by 40%.
