Primary and secondary diagnosis of multi-agent plan execution   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
Diagnosis of plan failures is an important subject in both single- and multi-agent planning. Plan diagnosis can be used to deal with plan failures in three ways: (i) to provide information necessary for the adjustment of the current plan or for the development of a new plan, (ii) to point out which equipment and/or agents should be repaired or adjusted to avoid further violation of the plan execution, and (iii) to identify the agents responsible for plan-execution failures. We introduce two general types of plan diagnosis: primary plan diagnosis identifying the incorrect or failed execution of actions, and secondary plan diagnosis that identifies the underlying causes of the faulty actions. Furthermore, three special cases of secondary plan diagnosis are distinguished, namely agent diagnosis, equipment diagnosis and environment diagnosis.  相似文献

This paper deals with the dynamics of jointed flexible structures in multibody simulations. Joints are areas where the surfaces of substructures come into contact, for example, screwed or bolted joints. Depending on the spatial distribution of the joint, the overall dynamic behavior can be influenced significantly. Therefore, it is essential to consider the nonlinear contact and friction phenomena over the entire joint. In multibody dynamics, flexible bodies are often treated by the use of reduction methods, such as component mode synthesis (CMS). For jointed flexible structures, it is important to accurately compute the local deformations inside the joint in order to get a realistic representation of the nonlinear contact and friction forces. CMS alone is not suitable for the capture of these local nonlinearities and therefore is extended in this paper with problem-oriented trial vectors. The computation of these trial vectors is based on trial vector derivatives of the CMS reduction base. This paper describes the application of this extended reduction method to general multibody systems, under consideration of the contact and friction forces in the vector of generalized forces and the Jacobian. To ensure accuracy and numerical efficiency, different contact and friction models are investigated and evaluated. The complete strategy is applied to a multibody system containing a multilayered flexible structure. The numerical results confirm that the method leads to accurate results with low computational effort.  相似文献

Due to high costs, a fire resistance test of a load-bearing structural element is usually limited to one test specimen — in a few countries, to two test specimens. Accordingly, there are no possibilities of evaluating the test results statistically.For a single test specimen, the actual quality of the structural material represents a random sample from a wide variety. This applies also to the initial imperfections of the structural elements. In consequence of this, a standard fire resistance test is generally carried out on a test specimen with a load-bearing capacity which is greater — most often significantly greater — than the load-bearing capacity related to the characteristic values of the mechanical material strength and of the imperfections of the structural member. In current practice, no corrections of the test results with respect to this are made.In a conventional analytical design, a determination of the load-bearing capacity of a structure at room temperature conditions is based on the characteristics values of the strength and imperfections. Extended to a structural fire engineering design, this procedure will give an analytically determined fire resistance of a load-bearing structural element which is lower — normally essentially lower — than the corresponding value derived from a standard fire resistance test.Available methods for a simplified calculation of the temperature of fire exposed steel structures are, as a rule, based on the assumption of a uniformly distributed temperature structure at each time of fire exposure. The ECCS Recommendations for an analytical design of steel structures exposed to a standard fire follow this kind of approach. For certain types of steel structures, for example, beams with a slab on the upper flange, a considerable temperature variation arises over the cross section as well as in the longitudinal direction during a fire resistance test. A simplified, analytical method, which neglects this influence, gives a further underestimation of the fire resistance in relation to the corresponding result obtained in a standard fire resistance test.The described discrepancies between an analytical and an experimental determination of the fire resistance are further discussed and analysed in Sections 2 and 3, with particular reference to different types of steel structures. The discussion is focussed on the loading and restraint conditions, the scatter of material properties and geometrical imperfections, and the temperature variation over the structure or structural element. The discussion is summarized in Section 4 and alternative methods of correction are outlined briefly for obtaining an improved consistency between the analytical and the experimental approaches.In Section 5, one of these methods is further developed to a design basis which can be applied easily in practice. Principally, the method is characterized by a correction of the analytically determined load-bearing capacity, based on the characteristic value of the structural material properties, the characteristic value of the imperfections of the structure, and a uniformly distributed steel temperature across and along the structure. Two different sequences of the design procedure are dealt with, defined according to Figs. 10 and 11. The resultant correction factors, ? and κ, belonging to the respective sequences, are given by Figs. 8 and 12 for columns, isostatic beams, and hyperstatic beams. The straight line curves in Figs. 9 and 13 show corresponding, simplified relationships for the ? and κ factors.The derived method of correction must be characterized as an approximate approach. This is in consequence of the present state of knowledge, which does not allow a solution of high accuracy. The task to develop a correction procedure which leads to improved consistency between an analytically and an experimentally determined fire resistance, should also be seen in the context of the inadequate reproducibility of the standard fire resistance test.  相似文献

The systems AX-CuX2 (A=K,Rb,NH4,Tl; X=Cl,Br,I) have been surveyed in search of compounds A2CuX4 having the K2NiF4 or a related structure. For compounds A2CuX4?xX′x, where x=1,2 and X′ is a halogen ion larger than X, and having such a structure, it is expected that a special ordering exists between the X and X′ anions. The compounds Rb2CuCl4,Rb2CuCl3Br and Rb2CuCl2Br2 are found to crystallize in the (NH4)2CuCl4 structure which is related to the K2NiF4 structure. The expected ordering between C1 and Br ions is demonstrated.  相似文献

This article reports on the design and development of the Digital Farmer Field School (DFFS). The DFFS offers a tablet-based digital learning environment for farmers and extension agents for knowledge sharing and knowledge co-creation. It provides an alternative to conventional agricultural extension training and monitoring. The prototype DFFS applies Farmer Field School (FFS) learning principles and is designed and developed following user experience (UX) design principles and user interface (UI) design principles from a responsible innovation perspective, using existing FFS material and tailored films which support and enrich the content. The prototype DFFS has been tested in Sierra Leone to assess its success in providing a substitute for face-to-face voluntary sustainability standard certification training for cocoa farmers. Results show that the DFFS as an off-line, telephonically connected and regular on-line updated learning platform offers an appropriate environment in which collective and individual learning is stimulated and facilitated. The DFFS prototype was socio-culturally and technologically appropriate and fitted the operational and strategic communication skills of cocoa farmers and other value chain stakeholders. In this paper an adaptive Stochastic Finite Elements approach with Newton–Cotes quadrature and simplex elements is developed for resolving the effect of random parameters in flow problems. The stochastic response is represented by a piecewise polynomial approximation by subdividing probability space into simplex elements. The quadrature approximation in the elements leads to solving uncoupled deterministic problems for varying parameter values. The elements are refined adaptively using a refinement measure based on the curvature of the approximation of the response weighted by the probability represented by the elements. Due to the Newton–Cotes quadrature the required number of deterministic solves is relatively low, since (i) the deterministic samples are reused in successive refinement steps due to the location of the quadrature points, and (ii) the samples are used in approximating the response in multiple elements, because most quadrature points are located on the boundaries of the elements. Monotonicity and extrema of the samples are preserved in the piecewise polynomial approximation of the response by subdividing elements where necessary in subelements with a linear approximation of the response. Applications to flows in a piston problem, a stall flutter model and transonic flow over a NACA0012 airfoil with uniformly and lognormally distributed random parameters demonstrate that the method is capable of resolving complex problems with singularities in probability space effectively. Resolving singularities is important since they can result in high sensitivities, and oscillatory or unphysical predictions.  相似文献

We consider a multi-agent planning problem as a set of activities that has to be planned by several autonomous agents. In general, due to the possible dependencies between the agents’ activities or interactions during execution of those activities, allowing agents to plan individually may lead to a very inefficient or even infeasible solution to the multi-agent planning problem. This is exactly where plan coordination methods come into play. In this paper, we aim at the development of coordination by design techniques that (i) let each agent construct its plan completely independent of the others while (ii) guaranteeing that the joint combination of their plans always is coordinated. The contribution of this paper is twofold. Firstly, instead of focusing only on the feasibility of the resulting plans, we will investigate the additional costs incurred by the coordination by design method, that means, we propose to take into account the price of autonomy: the ratio of the costs of a solution obtained by coordinating selfish agents versus the costs of an optimal solution. Secondly, we will point out that in general there exist at least two ways to achieve coordination by design: one called concurrent decomposition and the other sequential decomposition. We will briefly discuss the applicability of these two methods, and then illustrate them with two specific coordination problems: coordinating tasks and coordinating resource usage. We also investigate some aspects of the price of autonomy of these two coordination methods.  相似文献

Acinetobacter baumannii is a nosocomial pathogen of urgent concern for public health due to rising rates of multidrug and pandrug resistance. In the context of environmental cues such as growth in human serum, A. baumannii is known to display adaptive efflux, in which a multitude of efflux-associated genes are upregulated, resulting in efflux-mediated drug tolerance in strains that are otherwise susceptible to antibiotic therapy. Previously, we identified a sulfonamide-containing scaffold molecule (ABEPI1) that reversed serum-associated antibiotic tolerance in A. baumannii. Herein, we present structure-activity relationship studies on 29 newly synthesized analogues. These molecules were characterized for their ability to potentiate multiple antibiotics in serum, reduce serum-associated ethidium bromide efflux and depolarize bacterial cell membranes. In addition, they were assessed for toxicity to mammalian cells. Collectively, these molecules may represent promising potential adjuvants for use in combination with new and existing antibiotics to treat A. baumannii bacterial infections.  相似文献
