Results on the effect of solidification cooling rate on the microstructure, mechanical properties and machinability of spheroidal graphite (SG) iron have been presented. The effect of ferritic heat treatment on the same properties has been also investigated. The microstructural observation, tensile properties and hardness values of the present SG iron has been developed. The tool life criterion was used as a measure of machinability. It was found that during turning of SG iron by using a single point cutting tool, its life increased with decreasing the solidification cooling rate for both sand and metal moulds. The tool life was found to be significantly affected by the variation of nodule characteristics. A decrease in tool life due to an increase of nodule count was observed. The tool life was found to be directly proportional to the ductility of SG iron whether for the as cast or ferritic heat-treated ingots.  相似文献

In this article, we report the synthesis and biological properties of a series of novel oxazepines related to isoCA-4 having significant antitumor properties. Among them, three oxazepin-9-ol derivatives display a nanomolar or a sub-nanomolar cytotoxicity level against five human cancer cell lines (HCT116, U87, A549, MCF7, and K562). It was demonstrated that the lead compound in this series inhibits tubulin assembly with an IC50 value of 1 μM and totally arrests the cellular cycle in the G2/M phase at the low concentration of 5 nM in HCT116 and K562 cells. Molecular modeling studies perfectly corroborates these promising results.  相似文献

The cytotoxic activities of 23 new isocombretastatin A derivatives with modifications on the B‐ring were investigated. Several compounds exhibited excellent antiproliferative activity at nanomolar concentrations against a panel of human cancer cell lines. Compounds isoFCA‐4 ( 2 e ), isoCA‐4 ( 2 k ) and isoNH2CA‐4 ( 2 s ) were the most cytotoxic, and strongly inhibited tubulin polymerization with IC50 values of 4, 2 and 1.5 μM , respectively. These derivatives were found to be 10‐fold more active than phenstatin and colchicine with respect to growth inhibition but displayed similar activities as tubulin polymerization inhibitors. In addition, cell cycle arrest in the G2/M phase and subsequent apoptosis was observed in three cancer cell lines when treated with these compounds. The disruptive effect of 2 e , 2 k and 2 s on the vessel‐like structures formed by human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) suggest that these compounds may act as vascular disrupting agents. Both compounds 2 k and 2 s have the potential for further prodrug modification and development as vascular disrupting agents for treatment of solid tumors.  相似文献

A straightforward assisted tandem palladium(II)‐ and palladium(0)‐catalyzed direct C‐3 and N‐4 arylation of quinoxalin‐2(1 H)‐ones with boronic acids and aryl halides in water as safe and cheap solvent is reported. This environmentally friendly catalytic protocol is compatible with a wide range of functional groups and allows construction of various biologically important quinoxalin‐2(1 H)‐one backbones.

We describe a new methodology for the “in situ” identification of wire-bond degradation at early stages during high-temperature aging tests on devices with standard plastic packages. This methodology is based on the measurement of the changes in wire bond resistance, which is deduced from the I(V) characteristics of the ESD protection diodes on each contact pad of the circuit. In a first stage, the measurement procedure is described, with emphasis on the initial temperature calibration. This procedure allows for an “in situ” measurement sequence, where the packages stay in the aging chamber, at elevated temperature, during the electrical tests on the pad connections performed at different aging durations. By following accurately the package temperature, using a thermocouple, it is possible to correct for slight changes and thus get a reliable IV measurement for each interconnection. In the second stage, the aging test results are described, showing the evolution of each individual interconnection. We were able to identify the onset of wire-bond degradation through the progressive increase of their resistance. To allow for better determination of the degradation process, once an increase in wire bond resistance was detected, complete I(V) curves were recorded at the pin(s) of interest. For each pin of a TQFP64 package, the tests were performed at least twice a day, with increased density when initial failure is detected (one complete measurement every 3 h). This strategy allowed for the detection of different behaviors on the wire bonds: good ball bonds (i.e. ball bonds with no change in their resistance), ball bond with intermittent opens (these ball bonds are in the process of degradation, and thermo-mechanical stresses induced in the resin by very small temperature changes are sufficient to open or close the circuits) and completely destroyed ball bonds, for which the resistance stays in an “high” level. This approach to wire-bond degradation in plastic packages is very powerful in terms of the number of interconnections which can be followed “in real time” and especially has the advantage, over other classical approaches, that the devices under test stay operational, contrary to what occurs with other types of destructive testing. These electrical test results are compared with metallographic investigations performed after a series of mechanical tests on the ball bonds (wire pull/ball shear tests) on a set of identical devices which undergone exactly the same High Temperature Storage (HTS) aging for 2000 h at 165 °C.  相似文献

An efficient and unprecedented palladium‐catalyzed S‐glycosylation reaction of a range of alkenyl and alkynyl halides by using thiosugars as nucleophile partners has been established. With palladium diacetate in combination with Xantphos as the catalytic system, a variety of β‐alkenylthioglycosides as well as β‐alkynylthioglycosides can be prepared in good to excellent yields. The efficiency of this general protocol was well‐demonstrated by the formal synthesis of a leaf‐closure β‐glucosidase inhibitor.

Due to the growing of the power electronics, especial attention has been given to the use of new generation of power converters, AC/AC matrix converter to which provide a direct power converter AC/AC, bi-directional power flow, almost sinusoidal input and output waveform. In this paper, we present the performance study of a variable-speed wind turbine based on doubly fed induction generator fed by matrix converter using the maximum power point tracking method to extract the maximum power available. The whole system is presented in d-q-synchronous reference frame. The control scheme is tested and the performances are evaluated by simulation results. The simulation results obtained under MatLab/Simulink show the effectiveness and validity of the considered control.  相似文献
