In this study we examined the lymphatic transport in rats of FA after administration of interesterified oils containing CLA, with emphasis on the location of CLA and octanoic acid in the TAG. The oils were produced by enzymatic interesterification. Eight oils with different structures or FA profiles were examined in this study: MCM, CMC, OCO, and COC, where M was expected to be octanoic acid and O oleic acid. In group 1, C was CLA as a mixture of the two CLA isomers c9, t11 or t10, c12, and in group 2, C was mainly the isomer t10, c12. Rats were subjected to cannulation of the mesenteric lymph duct, and the following day they were intragastrically administered one of the oils and lymph samples were collected for 24 h. The lymphatic transport of total FA from 0 to 8 h in group 1 was significantly (P < 0.05) higher for the OCO-1 and the COC-1 oils than for the CMC-1 oil. Similarly, in group 2 the transport was higher for the OCO-2 oil than for the CMC-2 oil. The recovery of both of the CLA isomers examined was similar (50-70%) and independent of the isomer, oil structure, and FA profile, whereas more octanoic acid was recovered from the CMC oils than from the MCM oils. The results indicated that the FA profiles and the position of octanoic acid had only a minor influence on the absorption of CLA.  相似文献

A novel dicyclodextrinyl ditelluride (2-TeCD) compound was devised as a functional mimic of the glutathione peroxidase (GPX) enzymes that normally remove hydroperoxides from the cell. The GPX activity of the mimic was found to be 46.7 U microM(-1), which is 46 times as active as Ebselen, a well-known GPX mimic. A detailed steady-state kinetic study was undertaken to probe the reason for the high catalytic efficiency of 2-TeCD. This high efficiency can be explained based on both the binding of the substrate to the cyclodextrin and the catalytic mechanism of 2-TeCD, which is different from that of diselenide compounds. 2-TeCD exhibits good water solubility and is chemically and biologically stable. The biological effect of 2-TeCD was evaluated by its ability to protect mitochondria from oxidative damage. 2-TeCD exhibited excellent antioxidant capacity in comparison with Ebselen.  相似文献

In this paper, the neural network-based adaptive decentralized learning control is investigated for nonlinear interconnected systems with input constraints. Because the decentralized control of interconnected systems is related to the optimal control of each isolated subsystem, the decentralized control strategy can be established by a series of optimal control policies. A novel policy iteration algorithm is presented to solve the Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman equation related to the optimal control problem. This algorithm is implemented under the actor-critic structure where both neural networks are simultaneously updated to approximate the optimal control policy and the optimal cost function, respectively. The additional stabilizing term is introduced and an improved weight updating law is derived, which relaxes the requirement of initial admissible control policy. Besides, the input constraints of interconnected systems are taken into account and the Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman equation is solved in the presence of input constraints. The interconnected system states and the weight approximation errors of two neural networks are proven to be uniformly ultimately bounded by utilizing Lyapunov theory. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed decentralized learning control method is verified by simulation results.  相似文献

For the validation of a cleaning method in conservation, the examination of the object's surface after the cleaning and the quantification of the cleaning efficiency are significant steps. In this study, several cleaning solutions were tested on a plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) object whose surface was characterized before and after cleaning by optical microscopy and noncontact profilometry. In addition, different methods to quantify the cleaning efficiency based on spectrocolorimetric and microscopic techniques were provided. The results showed that noncontact profilometry supported by optical microscopy and spectrocolorimetry was very useful for the characterization of the plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) surface before and after the cleaning and also for the determination of the cleaners' efficiency.  相似文献

Novel laboratory equipment has been modified to allow both torsional and flexural oscillation measurements at sub-microstrain amplitudes, thereby providing seismic-frequency constraints on both the shear and compressional wave properties of cylindrical rock specimens within the linear regime. The new flexural mode capability has been tested on experimental assemblies containing fused silica control specimens. Close consistency between the experimental data and the results of numerical modelling with both finite-difference and finite-element methods demonstrates the viability of the new technique. The capability to perform such measurements under conditions of independently controlled confining and pore-fluid pressure, with emerging strategies for distinguishing between local (squirt) and global (specimen-wide) fluid flow, will have particular application to the study of frequency-dependent seismic properties expected of cracked and fluid-saturated rocks of the Earth's upper crust.  相似文献
