In the studies conducted, the impact of the innovative ozonation procedure on the microbial state and antioxidant potential of highbush blueberry (Vaccinum corymbosum L.) stored under cold storage conditions was assessed. Microbiological analysis was carried out to determine the total number of mesophilic aerobic bacteria and the total number of fungi during the storage experiment. In addition, changes in the flavonoid, anthocyanins, and vitamin C content and the total antioxidant capacity were monitored during the storage. The degree of fruit infection with gray mold and anthracnose was determined. It was found that daily ozonation of fruits with a dose of 15 ppm for 30 min, every 12 h, for 28 days effectively reduced the development of aerobic mesophilic bacteria and fungi. On the last day of storage, symptoms of the infection by gray mold were observed in 27.5% of the control fruit, while the absence of symptoms was observed in case of the ozonated fruit. On the other hand, ozone was ineffective in case of inhibiting the infection by anthracnose. Nevertheless, the ozonation process allowed maintaining a high antioxidant potential of the fruit and substantially reduced losses of flavonoids, anthocyanins, and vitamin C. The utilized procedure has proved to be effective, providing the possibility of extensive use of ozone as a factor allowing sustaining a high commercial and consumption value of the fruit over extended time.  相似文献

Quercetin, classified as a flavonoid, is a strong antioxidant that plays a significant role in the regulation of physiological processes in plants, which is particularly important in the case of biotic and abiotic stresses. The study investigated the effect of the use of potassium quercetin solutions in various concentrations (0.5%, 1.0%, 3.0% and 5.0%) on the physiological and biochemical properties of wheat seedlings. A pot experiment was carried out in order to determine the most beneficial dose of this flavonoid acting as a bio-stimulant for wheat plants. Spraying with quercetin derivative solutions was performed twice, and physiological measurements (chlorophyll content and fluorescence as well as gas exchange) were carried out on the first and seventh days after each application. The total phenolic compounds content and the total antioxidant capacity were also determined. It was shown that the concentrations of potassium quercetin applied have a stimulating effect on the course of physiological processes. In the case of most of the tested physiological parameters (chlorophyll content and fluorescence and gas exchange) and the total antioxidant capacity, no significant differences were observed in their increase as a result of application with concentrations of 3.0 and 5.0%. Therefore, the beneficial effect of quercetin on the analysed parameters is already observed when spraying with a concentration of 3.0%.  相似文献

The course of delivery and labor, the post partum period and the postpartal condition of the newborn were reviewed in 315 obese patients with a bodyweight of 90 kg or more at delivery. The results were compared with those of a group of 315 patients with a body-weight of less than 90 kg, choosed by random and evaluated by statistic (t-test, x2-test). In the group of obese gravidae we found a significant higher rate of cases with induction of labor, protracted deliveries, breech presentation and operative deliveries. Also the rate of manual removal of the placenta, post partum uterine infections and disorders in the milk secretion was significant higher in this group. Post partum abnormal glucose tolerance tests ocurred abnormal more frequently in the obese patients. The weight of the infants of obese mothers was higher as in the control group. Significant higher were the perinatal mortality and the cases of fetal death in utero in the obese group compared to the non obese group.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new conversion of multivalued decision diagrams (MDD) to binary decision diagrams (BDD) which can be used to improve MDD-based fil- tering algorithms such as MDDC or MDD-4R. We also propose BDDF, an algorithm that copies modified parts of the BDD “on the fly” during the search of a solution, and yields a better incrementality than a pure MDDC-like approach. MDDC is not very efficient when used to represent poorly structured positive table constraints. Our new representation combined with BDDF retains the properties of the MDD representation and has comparable performances to the STR2 algorithm by Ullmann (2007) and Lecoutre (Constraints, 16.4, 341–371 2011).  相似文献

Anticipation is a general concept used and applied in various domains. Many studies in the field of artificial intelligence have investigated the capacity for anticipation. In this article, we focus on the use of anticipation in multi-agent coordination, particularly preventive anticipation which consists of anticipating undesirable future situations in order to avoid them. We propose to use constraint processing to formalize preventive anticipation in the context of multi-agent coordination. The resulting algorithm allows any action that may induce an undesirable future state to be detected upstream of any multi-agent coordination process. Our proposed method is instantiated in a road traffic simulation tool. For the specific question of simulating traffic at road junctions, our results show that taking anticipation into account allows globally realistic behaviors to be reproduced without provoking gridlock between the simulated vehicles.  相似文献

Privacy has traditionally been a major motivation of distributed problem solving. One popular approach to enable privacy in distributed environments is to implement complex cryptographic protocols. In this paper, we propose a different, orthogonal approach, which is to control the quality and the quantity of publicized data. We consider the Open Constraint Programming model and focus on algorithms that solve Distributed Constraint Optimization Problems (DCOPs) using a local search approach. Two such popular algorithms exist to find good solutions to DCOP: DSA and GDBA. In this paper, we propose DSAB, a new algorithm that merges ideas from both algorithms to allow extensive handling of constraint privacy. We also study how algorithms behave when solving Utilitarian DCOPs, where utilitarian agents want to reach an agreement while reducing the privacy loss. We experimentally study how the utilitarian approach impacts the quality of the solution and of publicized data.

The Constraint Satisfaction Problem (CSP) formalism is used to represent many combinatorial decision problems instances simply and efficiently. However, many such problems cannot be solved on a single, centralized computer for various reasons (e.g., their excessive size or privacy). The Distributed CSP (DisCSP) extends the CSP model to allow such combinatorial decision problems to be modelled and handled. In this paper, we propose a complete DisCSP-solving algorithm, called Distributed Backtracking with Sessions (DBS), which can solve DisCSP so that each agent encapsulates a whole “complex” problem with many variables and constraints. We prove that the algorithm is sound and complete, and generates promising experimental results.  相似文献

Plant production technologies based solely on the improvement of plants themselves face obstacles resulting from the natural limitations of the biological potential of varieties. Therefore, new substances are sought that positively influence the growth and development of plants and increase resistance to various biotic and abiotic stresses, which also translates into an increase in obtained yields. The exogenous application of various phytoprotectants shows great promise in terms of cost effectiveness compared to traditional breeding methods or transgenic approaches in relation to increasing plant tolerance to abiotic stresses. Quercetin is a strong antioxidant among phenolic compounds, and it plays a physiological and biochemical role in plants. As such, the aim of this research was to assess the effect of an aqueous solution of a quercetin derivative with potassium, applied in various concentrations (0.5%, 1.0%, 3.0% and 5.0%), on the efficiency of the photosynthetic apparatus and biochemical properties of maize. Among the tested variants, compared to the control, the most stimulating effect on the course of physiological processes (PN, gs, ci, CCI, Fv/Fm, Fv/F0, PI) in maize leaves was found in 3.0 and 5.0% aqueous solutions of the quercetin derivative. The highest total antioxidant capacity and total content of polyphenolic compounds were found for plants sprayed with 5.0% quercetin derivative solution; therefore, in this study, the optimal concentration could not be clearly selected.  相似文献

This paper focuses on man–machine cooperation problems. In particular, it deals with those problems that occur when both human and machine have to achieve a shared reasoning activity. It puts forward a man–machine approach that is dedicated to technical diagnosis problem solving. Coordination of human and automated reasoning is key to solving this problem, since efficiency depends on both sharing and interpreting exchanged data. A shared workspace is proposed to support both machines and their human operators. This workspace is kept as close as possible to human representations in order to reduce cooperation costs. The paper describes those coordination mechanisms that are able to support such a cooperative activity using a shared workspace. In order to assess the costs and benefits of such cooperation, these mechanisms are applied to a complex industrial problem: diagnosis and troubleshooting in a phone network. The results show the full impact of cooperation on human–machine reasoning.  相似文献
