The high hydrostatic coefficients of porous piezoelectric materials provide the reduced acoustic impedance for the effective coupling with water medium as well as biological tissues. The hydrostatic strain coefficient (dh), voltage coefficients (gh) and longitudinal piezoelectric coefficient (d33) of porous piezoelectric materials has a strong dependence on processing parameters such as porosity parameter, polymer percentage, density and poling voltage. In this work, a nonparametric regression has been carried out to figure out the nonlinear relationships between the hydrostatic coefficients and its processing parameters. The nonparametric regression has been carried out by artificial neural network. The Network architecture utilized is radial basis function (RBF) which is combined with Fuzzy Clustering Method (FCM) to identify the hidden node numbers and widths. The porosity parameter was calculated from scanning electron micrographs of the porous piezoelectric materials using conventional image processing techniques. The results of the artificial neural network were evaluated against experimental data.  相似文献

With available data rates for mobile devices constantly increasing, services such as video broadcast and multicast are becoming feasible. A new standard called Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Services (MBMS) is being developed by 3GPP to enable new class of spectrum-efficient multimedia services. Multicast services are expected to serve a diverse user base with varying connectivity and capabilities. We analyze the problem of video error resilience in MBMS services that is critical to maintain consistent quality for end users. The existing error resilience techniques for IP multicasting are not applicable in the MBMS environment. In this paper, we present error resilience techniques that are applicable within the context of the MBMS standard. We propose an Intra Block Refresh method for MBMS services and the results show improved performance. We develop a methodology that can be applied to adapting traditional error resilience tools for the MBMS environment.  相似文献

BaZrO3 doped (Na0.52K0.48)(Nb0.95Sb0.05)O3 ceramics were prepared using solid state route. The optimization of processing parameters like calcination temperature (800 °C), sintering temperature (1140 °C) and poling parameters (3 kV/mm at 120 °C/60 min) was carried out on base composition. Optimized parameters yielded a piezoelectric charge coefficient of 171 pC/N in composition having 4 mol% BaZrO3. Low temperature dielectric measurements and high temperature X-ray diffraction studies, along with structural refinement using Rietveld method were performed to ascertain the new found phenomenon. A castling-like phenomenon was observed in (1-x)(Na0.52K0.48)(Nb0.95Sb0.05)O3xBaZO3 (0.00?≤?x?≤?0.08) ceramics, where two phases interchanged their position. Also, BaZrO3 led to negative ageing behavior in these ceramics. Doping of BaZrO3 improved the electrical fatigue behavior and degraded the ferroelectric and thermal stability of ceramics.

The recent advancements in the internet technology have created the urgency in developing critical data security framework around the globe. One of the most shared multimedia objects is the image which is safeguarded through a task called image encryption. An integrated approach to image encryption is the need of the hour which can combine algorithm and communication model. In this context, this work presents the first- of- its- kind approach addressing Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) to encrypt and decrypt the images to enhance their security during transmission via Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) communication systems. The uniqueness of this work is to combine the encryption scheme and subsequent wireless transmission. Modified Huffman coding has been employed to achieve compression. The viability of the proposed approach was tested and the performance metrics namely Entropy, PSNR, Histogram, correlation coefficient, differential attack, NIST test, and occulation attack analyses were evaluated. The simulation results prove the efficiency of the proposed integrated encryption – compression – communication schema.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has infected >235 million people and killed over 4.8 million individuals worldwide. Although vaccines have been developed for prophylactic management, there are no clinically proven antivirals to treat the viral infection. Continuous efforts are being made all over the world to develop effective drugs but these are being delayed by periodic outbreak of mutated SARS-CoV-2 and a lack of knowledge of molecular mechanisms underlying viral pathogenesis and post-infection complications. In this regard, the involvement of Annexin A2 (AnxA2), a lipid-raft related phospholipid-binding protein, in SARS-CoV-2 attachment, internalization, and replication has been discussed. In addition to the evidence from published literature, we have performed in silico docking of viral spike glycoprotein and RNA-dependent RNA polymerase with human AnxA2 to find the molecular interactions. Overall, this review provides the molecular insights into a potential role of AnxA2 in the SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis and post-infection complications, especially thrombosis, cytokine storm, and insulin resistance.  相似文献
