In this paper, the design of a “low cost full passive structure” of wind turbine system without active electronic part (power and control) is investigated. The efficiency of such device can be obtained only if the design parameters are mutually adapted through an optimization design approach. For this purpose, sizing and simulating models are developed to characterize the behavior and the efficiency of the wind turbine system. A model simplification approach is presented, allowing the reduction of computational times and the investigation of multiple Pareto-optimal solutions with a multiobjective genetic algorithm. Results show that the optimized wind turbine configurations are capable of matching very closely the behavior of active wind turbine systems which operate at optimal wind powers by using a MPPT control device. 相似文献

Fitness sharing and niching methods revisited 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
Interest in multimodal optimization function is expanding rapidly since real-world optimization problems often require the location of multiple optima in the search space. In this context, fitness sharing has been used widely to maintain population diversity and permit the investigation of manly peaks in the feasible domain. This paper reviews various strategies of sharing and proposes new recombination schemes to improve its efficiency. Some empirical results are presented for high and a limited number of fitness function evaluations. Finally, the study compares the sharing method with other niching techniques 相似文献

The French National Railways Company (SNCF) is interested in the design of a hybrid locomotive based on various storage devices (accumulator, flywheel, and ultracapacitor) and fed by a diesel generator. This paper particularly deals with the integration of a flywheel device as a storage element with a reduced-power diesel generator and accumulators on the hybrid locomotive. First, a power flow model of energy-storage elements (flywheel and accumulator) is developed to achieve the design of the whole traction system. Then, two energy-management strategies based on a frequency approach are proposed. The first strategy led us to a bad exploitation of the flywheel, whereas the second strategy provides an optimal sizing of the storage device. Finally, a comparative study of the proposed structure with a flywheel and the existing structure of the locomotive (diesel generator, accumulators, and ultracapacitors) is presented. 相似文献
