Automated regression suites are essential in developing large applications, while maintaining reasonable quality and timetables. The main argument against the automation of regression suites, in addition to the cost of creation and maintenance, is the observation that if you run the same test many times, it becomes increasingly less likely to find bugs. To alleviate such problems, a new regression suite practice, using random test generators to create regression suites on-the-fly, is becoming more common. In this practice, instead of maintaining tests, we generate test suites on-the-fly by choosing several specifications and generating a number of tests from each specification. 相似文献

Zirconyl molybdopyrophosphate (ZMPP) inorganic ion exchanger was synthesized by precipitation and used for preparing a 60Co sealed source. The distribution coefficient of 60Co(II) ions on ZMPP was determined in relation to the HCl concentration. The saturation capacity of ZMPP for 60Co(II) was determined by the batch method to be 1.33 mmol g?1. The ZMPP ion exchanger was loaded with 60Co radionuclides by equilibrating a 60Co solution with 1 g of ZMPP at pH 5 (HCl) for 48 h at 25 ± 1°C. A sealed source of 1.04 ??Ci 60Co (±5%) was prepared by packing 100 mg of the loaded matrix in the cylindrical cavity of a Chinese Artelone capsule. After radiometric standardization and encapsulation, the sealed source was submitted to quality control tests and finally checked radiometrically before release to the local market for calibration of radiation measurements and identification instruments. 相似文献

The task of finding a set of test sequences that provides good coverage of industrial circuits is infeasible because of the size of the circuits. For small critical subcircuits of the design, however, designers can create a set of test sequences that achieve good coverage. These sequences cannot be used on the full design because the inputs to the subcircuit may not be accessible. In this work we present an efficient test generation algorithm that receives a test sequence created for the subcircuit and finds a test sequence for the full design that reproduces the given sequence on the subcircuit. The algorithm uses a new technique called dynamic transition relations to increase its efficiency .The most common and most expensive step in our algorithm is the computation of the set of predecessors of a set of states. To make this computation more efficient we exploit a partitioning of the transition relation into a set of simpler relations. At every step we use only those that are necessary, resulting in a smaller relation than the original one. A different relation is used for each step, hence the name dynamic transition relations. The same idea can be used to improve symbolic model checking for the temporal logic CTL.We have implemented the new method in SMV and run it on several large circuits. Our experiments indicate that the new method can provide gains of up to two orders of magnitude in time and space during verification. These results show that dynamic transition relations can make it possible to verify circuits that were previously unmanageable due to their size and complexity . 相似文献

Most of the common techniques in text retrieval are based on the statistical analysis terms (words or phrases). Statistical analysis of term frequency captures the importance of the term within a document only. Thus, to achieve a more accurate analysis, the underlying model should indicate terms that capture the semantics of text. In this case, the model can capture terms that represent the concepts of the sentence, which leads to discovering the topic of the document. In this paper, a new concept-based retrieval model is introduced. The proposed concept-based retrieval model consists of conceptual ontological graph (COG) representation and concept-based weighting scheme. The COG representation captures the semantic structure of each term within a sentence. Then, all the terms are placed in the COG representation according to their contribution to the meaning of the sentence. The concept-based weighting analyzes terms at the sentence and document levels. This is different from the classical approach of analyzing terms at the document level only. The weighted terms are then ranked, and the top concepts are used to build a concept-based document index for text retrieval. The concept-based retrieval model can effectively discriminate between unimportant terms with respect to sentence semantics and terms which represent the concepts that capture the sentence meaning. Experiments using the proposed concept-based retrieval model on different data sets in text retrieval are conducted. The experiments provide comparison between traditional approaches and the concept-based retrieval model obtained by the combined approach of the conceptual ontological graph and the concept-based weighting scheme. The evaluation of results is performed using three quality measures, the preference measure (bpref), precision at 10 documents retrieved (P(10)) and the mean uninterpolated average precision (MAP). All of these quality measures are improved when the newly developed concept-based retrieval model is used, confirming that such model enhances the quality of text retrieval. 相似文献

This study evaluated the biochemical, molecular, and histopathological mechanisms involved in the hypoglycaemic effect of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) in experimental diabetic rats. ZnONPs were prepared by the sol–gel method and characterised by scanning and transmission electron microscopy (SEM and TEM). To explore the possible hypoglycaemic and antioxidant effect of ZnONPs, rats were grouped as follows: control group, ZnONPs treated group, diabetic group, and diabetic + ZnONPs group. Upon treatment with ZnONPs, a significant alteration in the activities of superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase, and the levels of insulin, haemoglobin A1c, and the expression of cluster of differentiation 4+ (CD4+), CD8+ T cells, glucose transporter type‐4 (GLUT‐4), tumour necrosis factor, and interleukin‐6 when compared to diabetic and their control rats. ZnONPs administration to the diabetic group showed eminent blood glucose control and restoration of the biochemical profile. This raises their active role in controlling pancreas functions to improve glycaemic status as well as the inflammatory responses. Histopathological investigations showed the non‐toxic and therapeutic effect of ZnONPs on the pancreas. TEM of pancreatic tissues displayed restoration of islets of Langerhans and increased insulin‐secreting granules. The sorption behavior of light rare-earth elements (La, Ce, Nd, Sm) on resorcinol-formaldehyde (RF) resin was studied. The
effect of pH, shaking time, and temperature on the metal distribution coefficients was examined. The RF resin affinity for
the examined lanthanides increases with a decrease in the ionic radius of the metal ion: Sm > Ce > Nd > La. The capacity of
RF resins for the lanthanides shows the same trend. Because of the relatively high capacity of the resin, the presence of
interfering ions affects the sorption percentage of the light REEs insignificantly. The thermodynamic functions of the sorption
process were determined. They show that the adsorption of the light lanthanides on RF resin occurs spontaneously with the

The preparation of ultrasmall and rigid platforms (USRPs) that are covalently coupled to macrocycle‐based, calcium‐responsive/smart contrast agents (SCAs), and the initial in vitro and in vivo validation of the resulting nanosized probes (SCA‐USRPs) by means of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is reported. The synthetic procedure is robust, allowing preparation of the SCA‐USRPs on a multigram scale. The resulting platforms display the desired MRI activity—i.e., longitudinal relaxivity increases almost twice at 7 T magnetic field strength upon saturation with Ca2+. Cell viability is probed with the MTT assay using HEK‐293 cells, which show good tolerance for lower contrast agent concentrations over longer periods of time. On intravenous administration of SCA‐USRPs in living mice, MRI studies indicate their rapid accumulation in the renal pelvis and parenchyma. Importantly, the MRI signal increases in both kidney compartments when CaCl2 is also administrated. Laser‐induced breakdown spectroscopy experiments confirm accumulation of SCA‐USRPs in the renal cortex. To the best of our knowledge, these are the first studies which demonstrate calcium‐sensitive MRI signal changes in vivo. Continuing contrast agent and MRI protocol optimizations should lead to wider application of these responsive probes and development of superior functional methods for monitoring calcium‐dependent physiological and pathological processes in a dynamic manner. 相似文献
