Bright white light therapy was applied to 51 patients with syndrome of autonomic dysfunction of neurotic origin (1 hour of light exposure every day in the morning, during 2 weeks, 60 sm from the lamp, 3300 lux). Improvement occurred in 52% of the patients (responders--group 1, nonresponders--2). Changes occurred in nearly all symptoms: neuroendocrine, motivation, psychoautonomic, pain, psychopathologic. After the treatment in group 1 there was an increase of power of EEG spectrum, intensification of manifestations of the slow activity and decrease of the fast one from the two sides, an approach of the coefficient of asymmetry to the control levels as well as elevation of the urine excretion of metabolites of both catecholamines and serotonin. Initially higher power of EEG spectrum in group 2, became still more increased due to intensification of manifestations of theta and beta-2 rhythms from the two sides. Meanwhile coefficient of asymmetry was sharply decreased as well as general secretory activity inhibited. There were such symptoms and indices which had changed either negatively or positively under the influence of phototherapy.  相似文献

St. aureus enterotoxins A and B possess an antitumour effect. After intraperitoneal inoculation they decrease the size and in some cases prevent the development of the human hypernephroma in the cheek pouch of golden hamsters. The effect of enterotoxins may possibly consist in inducing the production of endogenous immune interferon which activates the host immune system and enhances the rejection of heterologous tumour cells.  相似文献

A procedure and analytical calculation are described for the thermal state of annular specimens with paraboloid end surfaces. Prescribed values of temperature, thermal, mechanical bending, and contact stresses are realized which provide a prescribed form of material failure taking account of the features of the material state close to holes and wedge-shaped contractions. The alloy V95och is distinguished from alloy V95 by smaller content of the deleterious impurities iron and silicon, and correspondingly by smaller content of intermetallic phases that are insoluble in solid solution and impair the characteristics of reliability. This explains the higher resistance of alloy V95och to loads in structures containing stress raisers. Strengthening heat treatment of alloy V95och is carried out under conditions worked out for alloy v95. However, reduced iron and silicon content may affect, in addition to the amount of intermetallic phases insoluble in aluminum, also the position of the critical points of the alloy, and consequently the heating temperature for quenching, too. The aim of the present work is to determine the possibility of raising the heating temperature for quenching of the alloy V95och (5–7% Zn; 18–2.8% Mg; 1.4–0.25% Cr; 0.2–0.6% Mn) so as to dissolve a large amount of strengthening phases in the solid solution and to enhance the effect of strengthening during subsequent aging.Translated from Metallovedenie i Termicheskaya Obrabotka Metallov, No. 6, pp. 35–36, June, 1994.  相似文献

An auxiliary protein of DNA polymerases delta and epsilon, the proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), is necessary for efficient DNA replication in vivo and in vitro, and also for the repair synthesis in vitro, but its role in the excision repair of genome in vivo is not exactly established. In S-phase of unirradiated cells, PCNA is tightly bound to focal centers of DNA replication and is not removed by treatment with detergent Triton X-100, but is completely extracted from non-S-phase cells by the indicated detergent. It was shown earlier that after UV-irradiation PCNA could not be removed by the detergent even from non-S-phase cells. It was interpreted as the evidence of PCNA integration into the repair complex and of the participation of this protein in repair synthesis in vivo. In the present work the data were obtained indicating that the role of PCNA in cell response to UV-damage was not confined only to its possible involvement in repair synthesis. With the help of confocal microscopy it was established that in Triton X-100-extracted normal cells PCNA did not colocalize with the well known excision repair protein XPB/ERCC3, defective in cells from Xeroderma pigmentosum (complementation group B) patients. XPB-protein is induced by UV-irradiation in normal cells, and this induction is not observed in repair deficient cells. However, in such cells UV-light induces a detergent-resistant form of PCNA, and this form is obviously not connected with repair. It cannot be excluded that a rapid PCNA immobilization immediately after UV-irradiation of cells is needed for the facilitation of photochemical damage bypass during the subsequent replication of genome.  相似文献
