Given high-tech industry trends such as limited production, diverse model range, short product life cycle, and high customer responsiveness, issues related to recognitive core vs. non-core operations in internal vs. external environments are crucial in hi-tech production systems planning. This work elucidates the relationship between capacity planning and suppliers with a focus on quantity allocation, manufacturing quantity, capacity limit, warehouse space, and time period for hi-tech production planning. A fuzzy multiple-goal programming approach is adopted to model total cost, holding cost, and rework cost in order to analyse the relative cost-effectiveness of different factors. The proposed model was examined via the fuzzy analysis of its application to an actual building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) manufacturer with variable characteristics. The proposed model of cost-effectiveness accommodates variables such as multiple components, quality, and responsiveness, it integrates multi-stage functions, and a specific implementation is demonstrated. Various scenarios are designed to analyse the transaction options for outsourcing under combined schemes. The analytical results in this study can help decision makers to systematically analyse the cost effectiveness of outsourcing during capacity planning in practical applications.  相似文献

夏甸金矿采用的低贫损无底柱分段崩落采矿方法,因矿体变化大,造成矿石损失贫化率增大。采用低贫损分段崩落与浅孔留矿耦合采矿方法后,采掘成本下降了2元/t,损失率从原来的12%~20%下降至10.8%,贫化率由原来的15%~25%下降为14.6%,经济效益良好,这种采矿方法技术上可行,经济上合理,值得推广。  相似文献

Parallel GEGA was constructed by incorporating grammatical evolution (GE) into the parallel genetic algorithm (GA) to improve reservoir water quality monitoring based on remote sensing images. A cruise was conducted to ground-truth chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) concentration longitudinally along the Feitsui Reservoir, the primary water supply for Taipei City in Taiwan. Empirical functions with multiple spectral parameters from the Landsat 7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper (ETM+) data were constructed. The GE, an evolutionary automatic programming type system, automatically discovers complex nonlinear mathematical relationships among observed Chl-a concentrations and remote-sensed imageries. A GA was used afterward with GE to optimize the appropriate function type. Various parallel subpopulations were processed to enhance search efficiency during the optimization procedure with GA. Compared with a traditional linear multiple regression (LMR), the performance of parallel GEGA was found to be better than that of the traditional LMR model with lower estimating errors.  相似文献

The incorporation of mechanophores, motifs that transform mechanical stimulus into chemical reaction or optical variation, allows creating materials with stress-responsive properties. The most widely used mechanophore generally features a weak bond, but its cleavage is typical an irreversible process. Here, we showed that this problem can be solved by folding–unfolding of a molecular tweezer. We systematically studied the mechanochromic properties of polyurethanes with cyano-substituted oligo(p-phenylene) vinylene (COP) tweezer (DPU). As a control experiment, a class of polyurethanes containing only a single COP moiety (MPU) was also prepared. The DPU showed prominent mechanochromic properties, due to the intramolecular folding–unfolding of COP tweezer under mechanical stimulus. The process was efficient, reversible and optical detectable. However, due to the disability to form either intramolecular folding or intermolecular aggregation, the MPU sample was mechanical inert.  相似文献

The mold-manufacturing process consists of prototype design, production, assembly, and testing. As products tend to vary, have short due dates, and life cycles, are highly precise and must be responsiveness to customers, production system planning is complex and the relationship between outsourcing capability and in-house capacity is crucial to mold-manufacturing. Differentiation of core operations vs. non-core operations in internal vs. external environments and time control are essential for mold manufacturing when planning production systems. To analyze the cost-effectiveness of capacity planning and its relationship to suppliers, this work applies a novel fuzzy multi-objective linear programming model. Considered factors are order quantity allocation, due dates, manufacturing quantity, capacity, defect rates, back-log, and the purchasing discount. The applicability of three fuzzy theories is assessed using total costs, punishment costs, and crashing costs. Implementation results demonstrate the potentials for cost-effective capacity planning and outsourcing, and identify the applicability of these fuzzy theories to a specific mold-manufacturing case.  相似文献

The existing SCSI parallel bus has been widely used in various multimedia applications. However, due to the unfair bus accesses the SCSI bus may not be able to fully utilize the potential aggregate throughput of disks. The number of disks that can be attached to the SCSI bus is limited, and link level fault tolerance is not provided. The serial storage interfaces such as Serial Storage Architecture (SSA) provide high data bandwidth, fair accesses, long transmission distance between adjacent devices (disks or hosts) and link level fault tolerance. The fairness algorithm of SSA ensures a fraction of data bandwidth to be allocated to each device. In this paper we would like to know whether SSA is a better alternative in supporting continuous media than SCSI. The scalability of a multimedia server is very important since the storage requirement may grow incrementally as more contents are created and stored. SSA in a shared-storage cluster environment also supports concurrent accesses by different hosts as long as their access paths are not overlapped. This feature is called spatial reuse. Therefore, the effective bandwidth over an SSA can be higher than the raw data bandwidth and the spatial reuse feature is critical to the scalability of a multimedia server. This feature is also included in FC-AL3 with a new mode called Multiple Circuit Mode (MCM). Using MCM, all devices can transfer data simultaneously without collision. In this paper we have investigated the scalability of shared-stroage clusters over an SSA environment.  相似文献

Digital libraries require not only high storage space capacity but also high performance storage systems which provide the fast accesses to the data. These requirements can not be efficiently supported with the traditional SCSI interfaces. Several serial storage interfaces have been proposed for constructing storage systems with high transfer bandwidth, large storage capacity, and fault tolerance feature. Among them, Serial Storage Architecture (SSA) and Fibre Channel-Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL) are considered as the next generation storage interfaces with broad industry support. Both technologies support simple cabling, long transmission distance, high data bandwidth, large capacity, fault tolerance, and fair sharing of link bandwidth. In this paper, a tutorial and a comparison of these two technologies are presented. The tutorial examines their interface specifications, transport protocols, fairness algorithms, and capabilities of fault tolerance. The comparison focuses on their protocol overhead, flow control, fairness algorithms, and fault tolerance. The paper also summarizes the recently proposed Aaron Proposal which incorporates features from both SSA and FC-AL and targets at merging these two technologies.  相似文献
