UV-nanoimprint lithography (UV-NIL) using a soft mold is a promising technique with low cost and high throughput for producing the submicron scale large-area patterns. However, the deformations of the soft mold during imprinting process which can cause serious consequences have to be understood for the practical application of the process. This paper investigated the deformation of the soft mold by theoretical analyses, numerical simulations, and experimental studies. We simulated the mold deformation using a simplified model and finite element method. The simulation and the related experimental results agree well with each other. Through the investigation, the mechanism and affected factors of the mold deformation are revealed, and some useful conclusions have been achieved. These results will be valuable in optimizing the imprinting process conditions and mold design for improving the quality of transferred patterns. 相似文献

Treating bacterial biofilm infections on implanted materials remains challenging in clinical practice, as bacteria can be resistant by weakening the host defense from immune cells like macrophages. Herein, a metal-piezoelectric hetero-nanostructure with mechanical energy-driven antimicrobial property is in situ constructed on the Ti implant. Under ultrasonic irradiation, the formed piezotronic Ti (piezoTi) can promote the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) by facilitating local charge transfer at the surface, thus leading to piezodynamic killing of Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) while downregulating biofilm-forming genes. In addition, the stimulated macrophages on piezoTi display potent phagocytosis and anti-bacterial activity through the activation of PI3K-AKT and MAPK pathway. As a demonstration, one-time ultrasound irradiation of piezoTi pillar implanted in an osteomyelitis model efficiently eliminates the S. aureus biofilm infection and rescues the implant with enhanced osteointegration. By the synergistic effect of ultrasound-driven piezodynamic therapy and immuno-regulation, the proposed piezoelectric nanostructured surface can endow Ti implants with highly efficient antibacterial performance in an antibiotic-free, noninvasive, and on-demand manner. 相似文献

Contour following is one of the most important issues faced by many computer-numerical-control (CNC) machine tools to achieve high machining precision. This paper presents a new real-time error compensation method aiming at reducing the contouring error caused by facts such as servo lag and dynamics mismatch in parametric curved contour-following tasks. Due to the lack of high-precision contouring-error estimation method for free-form parametric curved toolpath, the error can hardly be compensated effectively. Therefore, an adaptive accurate contouring-error estimation algorithm is proposed first, where a tangential-error backstepping method based on Taylor’s expansion is developed to rapidly find the closest point on the parametric curve to the actual motion position. On this foundation, the contouring error is compensated using a proposed nonlinear variable-gain compensation method, where the compensation gain is obtained according to not only the contouring-error magnitude but also its direction variation. The stability of the system after compensation is analyzed afterwards according to the Jury stability criterion. By design of the compensator in accordance with the presented contouring-error compensation method as well as the stability analyzation result, the balance between the response speed and the contour control stability can be effectively made. Experimental tests demonstrate the feasibility of the presented methods in both contouring-error estimation and contour-accuracy improvement.
