A typical content-based image retrieval (CBIR) system would need to handle the vagueness in the user queries as well as the inherent uncertainty in image representation, similarity measure, and relevance feedback. We discuss how fuzzy set theory can be effectively used for this purpose and describe an image retrieval system called FIRST (fuzzy image retrieval system) which incorporates many of these ideas. FIRST can handle exemplar-based, graphical-sketch-based, as well as linguistic queries involving region labels, attributes, and spatial relations. FIRST uses fuzzy attributed relational graphs (FARGs) to represent images, where each node in the graph represents an image region and each edge represents a relation between two regions. The given query is converted to a FARG, and a low-complexity fuzzy graph matching algorithm is used to compare the query graph with the FARGs in the database. The use of an indexing scheme based on a leader clustering algorithm avoids an exhaustive search of the FARG database. This experimental studies were carried out in order to understand the effects of the PVD coating and the UNSM treatment of
HSS55 (high speed steel 55) during the production of the automotive inner pipe by the plastic deformation of S45C. The field
test and the SEM images revealed that the PVD coating is necessary in spite of the high compressive residual stresses which
were formed at the head of a punch pin. Upon the application of the AlCrN coating with the UNSM treatment the productivity
and reliability of a punch pin had improved more than about 2.6 times compared to that of the TiN coating without the UNSM
treatment. It is likely that the improvement is caused by the decreased stress concentration factor by the ‘wrapped in oxides’
inside of an abrasion pit. The abrasion pits were mostly generated within range of 5% ∼ 50% of the diameter ratio from the

Modern microprocessors achieve high application performance at an acceptable level of power dissipation. Reorder buffer is used for out-of-order instructions to be committed in-order. The reorder buffer plays a key role in modern microprocessors because performance improvement techniques highly rely on aggressive speculation to feed wider issue, out-of-order, and deep pipelines. In terms of power to performance trade-off, reorder buffer is particularly important. This is because enlarging the reorder buffer size achieves high performance but naive scaling of the conventional reorder buffer architecture can severely increase the complexity and power consumption. In this paper, we propose low-power reorder buffer techniques for contemporary microprocessors. First, the separated reorder buffer reduces power dissipation by deferred allocation and early release. The deferred allocation delays the SROB allocation of instructions until all their data dependencies are resolved. Then, the instructions are executed in program order and they are released faster from the SROB. The result of the instruction is written into rename buffers immediately after the execution completes. Then, the result values in the rename buffer are written into the architectural register file at the commit state. In this paper, we designed and implemented the active emergency call system for emergency call service actively. Active emergency call system has two physical components; E-Device (Emergency Mobile Device) and E-Server (Emergency Server). The role of E-Device is the mobile device in order to call emergency by using mild handicapped, the elderly and children who are able to communicate their intention to another. E-Server is the server for management E-Devices with realtime monitoring. E-Device will be developed to the portable size for easily mild handicapped, the elderly and children. When they need the service of emergency call, the button of E-Device can be used and the call signal is transmitted to the emergency office and the guardian through Internet and CDMA. E-Server should be developed the integrated control system for management of E-Devices basically. And it also supported to realtime monitoring of E-Devices with respect to high quality of emergency call service for rise the efficiency. And finally we describe the results of performance evaluation about the location error of E-Device between coordinate of GPS received signal and actual E-Device coordinate, when it has been called emergency, by using DEVS (Discrete Event System Specification) formalism. 相似文献

In order to realize a small linewidth two-dimensional direct laser lithographic technique with enhanced resolution, we propose two apparatuses. The first one uses a polarizing beam splitter to separate a source beam into two output beams, and these two beams overlap on the focal point and make a narrow interferogram that sharpens the focused beam spot. The direction of the sharpened beam spot is controlled by a tilting mirror. This scheme is fast and easy to align. However, one serious problem, the interferogram shifting phenomenon, was observed during a long term fabrication. To obtain long term stability, we propose the second scheme that employs a calcite wave plate module attached to a motorized rotary motor. An HBT amplifier with a "post-distortion"-type linearizer utilizing a base-collector junction diode shows more than 8-dB improvement of adjacent channel power ratio, and the collector linearizer comprising a reverse biased base-collector junction diode requires no additional dc power consumption and has no deterioration of RF performance. A switchable Yagi-Uda antenna prototype with radiation pattern reconfiguration is presented in this letter. The proposed reconfigurable antenna is based on the concept of switching between the reflector and director of a Yagi-Uda antenna using a radio frequency PIN diode. As a result, the minimum/maximum radiation can be steered towards desired signals or away from interfering signals in opposite directions. The measured 10 dB impedance bandwidth and gain are 210 MHz (7%) and 8.02 dBi at 3 GHz, respectively. Details of the antenna design and its performance are described and empirically analyzed. 相似文献
