This paper presents a timing controller embedded driver (TED) IC with 3.24‐Gbps embedded display port (eDP), which is implemented using a 45‐nm high‐voltage CMOS process for the chip‐on‐glass (COG) TFT‐LCD applications. The proposed TED‐IC employs the input offset calibration scheme, the zero‐adjustable equalizer, and the phase locked loop‐based bang‐bang clock and data recovery to enhance the maximum data rate. Also, the proposed TED‐IC provides efficient power management by supporting advanced link power management feature of eDP standard v1.4. Additionally, the smart charge sharing is proposed to reduce the dynamic power consumption of output buffers. Measured result demonstrates the maximum data rate of 3.24 Gbps from a 1.1 V supply voltage with a 7.9‐inch QXGA 60‐Hz COG‐LCD prototype panel and 44% power saving from the display system.  相似文献

This study deals with the fabrication of an ozone gas sensor using single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) as sensing material. The SWCNTs are dispersed by N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF). The CNT-DMF solution was dropped between interdigitated electrodes’ fingers to fabricate ozone gas sensor. For ozone environment, a commercial ozone generator was introduced. To improve sensor response, the deposited carbon nanotubes network was thermally treated at high temperature in a furnace. The sensor exhibits high sensitivity to ozone gas at concentration as low as 50 ppb, and fast response time, which is promising for future commercialization of carbon nanotubes based ozone gas sensor.  相似文献

Abstract

We develop a Bayesian nonparametric joint mixture model for clustering spatially correlated time series based on both spatial and temporal similarities. In the temporal perspective, the pattern of a time series is flexibly modeled as a mixture of Gaussian processes, with a Dirichlet process (DP) prior over mixture components. In the spatial perspective, the spatial location is incorporated as a feature for clustering, like a time series being incorporated as a feature. Namely, we model the spatial distribution of each cluster as a DP Gaussian mixture density. For the proposed model, the number of clusters does not need to be specified in advance, but rather is automatically determined during the clustering procedure. Moreover, the spatial distribution of each cluster can be flexibly modeled with multiple modes, without determining the number of modes or specifying spatial neighborhood structures in advance. Variational inference is employed for the efficient posterior computation of the proposed model. We validate the proposed model using simulated and real-data examples. A recently developed aerosol retrieval algorithm based on O4 slant column densities (SCDs) measured at a visible wavelength (476 nm) was utilized to derive aerosol information (e.g., aerosol optical depth (AOD) and vertical distributions of aerosol extinction coefficients (AECs)) in the lower troposphere during a severe Asian dust period. The MAX-DOAS measurements were carried out at Gwangju, Korea for nearly three months from February through May 2008. Comparison with AOD and surface PM10, measured by collocated sunphotometer and beta gauge sampler, were made to validate the retrieved AODs and AECs in the atmospheric layer surface to 1 km height above ground. On the Asian dust days, temporal variations of the AODs retrieved from MAX-DOAS measurements show similar patterns, but with reduced magnitudes, to those measured by sunphotometer whereas similar AOD magnitude and temporal variation was observed between MAX-DOAS and sunphotometer measurements during the non-episodic days. Smaller correlation was observed between the surface PM10 and AECs at 0.5 km during the Asian dust period compared to the correlation obtained for the non episodic days. This study demonstrates the ability of MAX-DOAS as a remote sensing technique for surface aerosol measurements under conditions of homogeneously distributed pollution in the planetary boundary layer. However, for the measurement of significantly enhanced aerosol loads with heterogeneous vertical distribution (e.g., Asian dust), measured AODs and AECs are underestimated at altitudes above 1 km due to decreased sensitivity of MAX-DOAS measurements at high altitudes.  相似文献

We report improvements in the characteristics of pentacene thin-film transistors (TFTs) achieved by using a poly(methylmethacrylate-co-methacrylic acid) (PMMA-co-MAA)/sol-gel-derived TiO2 composite insulator. The gate-leakage current of TFTs containing this insulator is comparable to that of devices composed of bare PMMA-co-MAA. The reduction in the threshold voltage is the most pronounced improvement observed herein (compared to the variations of other characteristic parameters). This can be explained by the negative surface potential of the sol-gel-derived TiO2 film.  相似文献

We generated solution-processed thin film transistor (TFTs) using gallium tin zinc oxide (GTZO, Ga-Sn-Zn-O) layers as the channel that exhibit improved bias-stress stability during device operation under ambient conditions. The cause of the bias-stress stability was investigated through comparisons with zinc tin oxide (ZTO, Zn-Sn-O)-based TFTs, which suffer red from bias stress instability. Based on in-depth analysis of the electrical characteristics and chemical structure of both GTZO and ZTO layers, it was discovered that the GTZO layers had a significantly lower oxygen vacancy concentration than did the ZTO layer, which influenced the electrical performance of the GTZO transistors as well as their bias-stress stability. When 5 mol% gallium was added, a bias stress-stable transistor was obtained, exhibiting typical semiconductor behavior with a field-effect mobility of 1.2 cm2 V− 1 s− 1, on/off ratio of 106, off-current of 1 × 10− 10 A, and threshold voltage of 19.6 V. Further doping of Ga deteriorated the device performance, which was found to be associated with decreased carrier concentration and segregation of an insulating secondary phase.  相似文献

The antioxidant and antiproliferative activities of a tocotrienol-rich fraction (TRF) obtained from grape seeds were evaluated. TRF, a mixture of γ-tocopherol and α- and γ-tocotrienol, was prepared from a methanol-soluble fraction of grape seed oils by eluting with 10% ether (v/v) using silica gel chromatography. TRF had significantly higher antioxidant and antiproliferative activities compared to other fractions. TRF showed 3.5-, 40.0-, and 39.0-fold higher ABTS radical scavenging activity, inhibition of lipid peroxidation, and reducing power, respectively, compared to α-tocopherol fraction (5% diethyl ether fraction). TRF had higher antiproliferative activity against MCF7 (81%) and NCI-H460 (76%) cells at a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml. The results suggest that TRF from grape seeds has significant health-promoting effects, having excellent antioxidant and anticancer activities.  相似文献
