An experimental research program aiming to evaluate the semi-rigid behaviour of some typical bolted connections, that are used in cold formed steel plane truss joints, was carried out in the Laboratory of CMMC Department of The ‘Politehnica’ University of Timisoara. From the experimental values of the resistant moment and initial stiffness of the joints, the semi-rigid character of tested joints were established via the Eurocode 3 provisions. A numerical analysis of this type of truss, in which this semi-rigid behaviour is taken into account using the experimental results, is performed in order to demonstrate the improvement of load capacity in comparison with the classical assumptions. Finally, a semianalytical method combined with FEM simulations, calibrated via some experimental results, is proposed, in order to carry out a parametric study on the local behaviour of this type of connection.  相似文献

Polybetaines, that have moieties bearing both cationic (quaternary ammonium group) and anionic groups (carboxylate, sulfonate, phosphate/phosphinate/phosphonate groups) situated in the same structural unit represent an important class of smart polymers with unique and specific properties, belonging to the family of zwitterionic materials. According to the anionic groups, polybetaines can be divided into three major classes: poly(carboxybetaines), poly(sulfobetaines) and poly(phosphobetaines). The structural diversity of polybetaines and their special properties such as, antifouling, antimicrobial, strong hydration properties and good biocompatibility lead to their use in nanotechnology, biological and medical fields, water remediation, hydrometallurgy and the oil industry. In this review we aimed to highlight the recent developments achieved in the field of biomedical applications of polybetaines such as: antifouling, antimicrobial and implant coatings, wound healing and drug delivery systems.  相似文献

A moderate level of morbidity through acute respiratory diseases (ARD), of the upper tract, viral pneumonia and clinical influenza was recorded during November 1994 and April 1995 in the South-East area of Romania (nine districts). By virological and serological investigation adenosyncytial respiratory, parainfluenza type 3 and influenza type B viruses were found to be the most frequent etiological agents of these infections which affected especially the babies and the children of 1-14 years of age. Sporadic influenza outbreaks were noticed from which influenza strains of virus were isolated, antigenically related to the prototype strain A/Johannesburg 33/94.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the class of anti-uniform Huffman (AUH) codes for sources with infinite alphabet. Poisson, negative binomial, geometric and exponential distributions lead to infinite anti-uniform sources for some ranges of their parameters. Huffman coding of these sources results in AUH codes. We prove that as a result of this encoding, we obtain sources with memory. For these sources we attach the graph and derive the transition matrix between states, the state probabilities and the entropy. If c0 and c1 denote the costs for storing or transmission of symbols “0” and “1”, respectively, we compute the average cost for these AUH codes.  相似文献

This paper reports the mineralization ability of semi-interpenetrating networks composed of regenerated silk fibroin and polyacrylamide hydrogels soaked in simulated body fluid (SBF1x). Hydrogels were prepared by polymerization of acrylamide and N,N′-methylenebisacrylamide in silk fibroin solution with a redox pair as initiator. The incorporation of the fibroin within the polyacrylamide matrix was proved by FTIR–ATR spectroscopy. Swelling measurements in saline solution were performed to evaluate the behavior of these hydrogels having various compositions. Mineralization assays in SBF1x solution revealed the presence of apatite-like crystals onto the surface of the silk fibroin/polyacrylamide hydrogels. Cytotoxicity test by extract method revealed that these hydrogels with various contents in silk fibroin have not developed cytotoxic effects on human fibroblast cultures which increases the possibility of their use in biomedical applications. Mechanical compressive tests revealed good strengths for silk fibroin/polyacrylamide hydrogels. In this way, organic–inorganic hybrids analogous to bone structure can be produced under biomimetic conditions and could be further used in biomedical applications.  相似文献

A wireless communication system can be tested either in actual conditions or with a hardware simulator reproducing actual conditions. With a hardware simulator it is possible to freely simulate a desired radio channel, making it possible to test “on table” mobile radio equipments. This paper presents new architectures for the digital block of a hardware simulator of MIMO propagation channels. This simulator can be used for LTE and WLAN IEEE 802.11ac applications, in indoor and outdoor environments. However, in this paper, specific architectures of the digital block of the simulator for shipboard environment are presented. A hardware simulator must reproduce the behavior of the radio propagation channel. Thus, a measurements campaign has been conducted to obtain the impulse responses of the shipboard channel using a channel sounder designed and realized at IETR. After the presentation of the channel sounder, the channel impulse responses are described and implemented. Then, the new architectures of the digital block of the hardware simulator, implemented on a Xilinx Virtex-IV FPGA are presented. The accuracy, the occupation on the FPGA and the latency of the architectures are analyzed.  相似文献

New and known arylidene-hydrazinyl-thiazole derivatives have been synthesized by a convenient Hantzsch condensation. All compounds were evaluated for their in vitro cytotoxicity on two carcinoma cell lines, MDA-MB231 and HeLa. Significant antiproliferative activity for 2-(2-benzyliden-hydrazinyl)-4-methylthiazole on both MDA-MB-231 (IC50: 3.92 µg/mL) and HeLa (IC50: 11.4 µg/mL) cell lines, and for 2-[2-(4-methoxybenzylidene) hydrazinyl]-4-phenylthiazole on HeLa (IC50: 11.1 µg/mL) cell line is reported. Electrophoresis experiments showed no plasmid DNA (pTZ57R) cleavage in the presence of the investigated thiazoles.  相似文献

Complete diagnosis of chronic hepatitis relies on exploring the liver by bipsic punction, performing the classic histopathologic and immunohistochemic exams. We worked out viral antigens hepatocytes by using avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex technique as following: Ag HBs placed in cytoplasm or at the level of the cell membrane. Ag HBc preferably placed in nucleus and, a small part of it, in cytoplasm. Ag HD present especially in nucleus. A correlation between tissular antigen expression and hepatic histopathologic aspect was established. Two main types of viral expression were remarked: a regressive type reflected by cytoplasmatic Ag HBs in the absence of generalised nuclear Ag HBc--situations linked to persistent chronic hepatitis: an aggressive type characterised by the presence of the focal nuclear Ag HBc, cytoplasmatic Ag HBc or antigen HD--situations linked to active chronic hepatitis with various degrees of severity.  相似文献

Early-life stimulation (e.g., brief handling) attenuates the behavioral and neuroendocrine responses to stressors encountered in adulthood, particularly with respect to activation of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) activity. In contrast, if neonates were subjected to a more severe stressor, such as protracted separation from the dam or exposure to an endotoxin, then the adult response to a stressor was exaggerated. These early-life experiences program HPA functioning, including negative feedback derived from stimulation of hippocampal glucocorticoid receptors, and corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and arginine vasopressin (AVP) coexpression in PVN neurons, to modify the response to subsequent stressor experiences. The persistent variations of HPA activity observed in handled/stimulated animals may stem from alterations in dam-pup interactions (e.g. increased arched-back feeding, licking, grooming). In addition genetic makeup is critical in determining stress reactivity. For instance, BALB/cByJ mice are more reactive to stressors than C57BL/6ByJ mice, exhibiting greater HPA hormonal alterations and behavioral disturbances. BALB/cByJ also fail to acquire a spatial learning response in a Morris water-maze paradigm, which has been shown to be correlated with hippocampal cell loss associated with aging. Early-life handling of BALB/cByJ mice prevented these performance deficits and attenuated the hypersecretion of ACTH and corticosterone elicited by stressors. The stressor reactivity may have been related to maternal and genetic factors. When BALB/cByJ mice were raised by a C57BL/6ByJ dam, the excessive stress-elicited HPA activity was reduced, as were the behavioral impairments. However, cross-fostering the more resilient C57BL/6ByJ mice to a BALB/cByJ dam failed to elicit the behavioral disturbances. It is suggested that genetic factors may influence dam-pup interactive styles and may thus proactively influence the response to subsequent stressors among vulnerable animals. In contrast, in relatively hardy animals the early-life manipulations may have less obvious effects.  相似文献
