Photopolymerization kinetics and conductivity changes of epoxyacrylate composites for various loading modified PSt-MWCNT weight fractions changing from 0.0025 to 0.2 wt.% were evaluated by performing photo differential scanning calorimetry (photo-DSC) and four point conductivity measurements. 0.2% PSt-MWCNT additive polymeric films had their electrical conductivity boosted by 6% more than non-additive polymeric films.  相似文献

The photophysical and photochemical properties of the tetra- and octa-12-crown-4-substituted zinc (II) phthalocyanines are reported for the first time in the scope of this work. The new compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, electronic spectroscopy and mass spectra. General trends are described for photodegradation, singlet oxygen and fluorescence quantum yields, and fluorescence lifetimes of these compounds in dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO). Photophysical and photochemical properties of phthalocyanine complexes are very useful for photodynamic therapy (PDT) applications. The effects of the substituents on the photophysical and photochemical parameters of the zinc (II) phthalocyanines (5, 6 and 7) are also reported. The singlet oxygen quantum yields (ΦΔ) ranged from 0.48 to 0.78 are indicating the potential of the complexes as photosensitizers in applications of PDT. The fluorescences of the substituted ZnPc complexes are effectively quenched by benzoquinone (BQ).  相似文献

Image processing has become a tremendous tool for various fields of applications as well as for textile manufacturing industry in recent years. Inspection of fabric density is one of the major issues for fabric manufacturers in textile industries. In this study, an image processing method comprising of linear and nonlinear techniques for automatic inspection of warp and weft yarn density of fabrics has been proposed. By avoiding common problems of linear filtering such as blurring and localization, anisotropic diffusion filtering has been applied as preprocessing operation to enhance the edge region/boundaries between adjacent yarns of the fabric images. We conjecture that given a skewed gray level image, the number of peaks in the gray line profile of the image is minimized if the image is rotated in such a way that the inter-spaces between yarns are aligned with the vertical axis. Gabor filter, an orientation-sensitive filter, is applied to the skewed image at that angle to boost the edges between inter-spaces. The number of warp and weft yarn density has been inspected by applying gray line profile method. Simulations have been done on a wide range of fabric image data set. The results have shown that nonlinear and steered filters made a contribution to the performance of the method. The number warp and weft yarn densities are determined with an accuracy rates above 90%.  相似文献

The effects of spatially varying absorption and scattering coefficients on radiation transfer in absorbing, emitting, anisotropically scattering hollow cylinders with reflecting boundaries were investigated using the discrete ordinates method (DOM) by Tsai et al. [Int. J. Heat Mass Transfer 33 (1990) 2651]. Their problem solutions for hollow cylinder cases are incorrect. The cause of this inaccuracies are identified and the correct solutions obtained using DOM S6 are provided.  相似文献

In this study, a novel metal‐free phthalocyanine and three metallophthalocyanines carrying four 2‐[2‐(4‐tert‐butylphenoxy)ethoxy groups on the periphery were prepared by cyclotetramerisation of a dinitrile derivative in the presence of the corresponding divalent metal salts [zinc(ii ), cobalt(ii ), copper(ii )]. These new phthalocyanine compounds have been characterised by infrared, 1H and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance and electrospray mass spectroscopies and elemental analysis. The electrochemical properties of the metal‐free, zinc(ii ) and cobalt(ii ) phthalocyanines were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry methods. The cobalt complex showed a metal‐based reduction process, while the metal‐free and zinc(ii ) phthalocyanines showed ligand‐based electron transfer processes. It has been found that the absorption spectra substantially depend on concentration. It has been shown that these changes are attributable to the association of the phthalocyanine molecule. The number of molecules in the associates and the equilibrium constants for this association are determined.  相似文献

Radiative integral transfer equations for a rectangular participating and isotropically scattering inhomogeneous medium are solved numerically for the incident energy and the net partial heat fluxes using the method of “subtraction of singularity”. All the relevant single (surface integrals) and double integrals (volume integrals) are carried out analytically to reduce the computation time and numerical integration errors. The resulting system of linear equations are solved iteratively. A benchmark problem is chosen as a rectangular inhomogeneous cold participating medium which is subject to externally uniform diffuse radiation on the bottom surface. Solutions for linearly and quadratically varying scattering albedos are provided in tabular form.  相似文献

Nowadays, most of the ordinary differential equations (ODEs) can be solved by modelica‐based approaches, such as Matlab/Simulink, Dymola and LabView, which use simulation technique (ST). However, these kinds of approaches restrict the users in the enforcement of conditions at any instant of the time domain. This limitation is one of the most important drawbacks of the ST. Another method of solution, differential quadrature method (DQM), leads to very accurate results using only a few grids on the domain. On the other hand, DQM is not flexible for the solution of non‐linear ODEs and it is not so easy to impose multiple conditions on the same location. For these reasons, the author aims to eliminate the mentioned disadvantages of the simulation technique (ST) and DQM using favorable characteristics of each method in the other. This work aims to show how the combining method (CM) works simply by solving some non‐linear problems and how the CM gives more accurate results compared with those of other methods. In the last decade many researchers have been carried out on semi-active control systems, a large number of academic publications have been presented. Semi-active control systems which are used the magnetic field controlled fluid have been shown significant improvements by the researchers. In the study, a design optimization method that has been carried out for the objectives of target damper force and maximum magnetic flux density of an MR damper has been presented. Finite element methods, electromagnetic analysis of magnetic field and CFD analysis of MR flow, have been used to obtain optimal value of design parameters. The new approach that is use of magnetic field and MR flow together and simultaneously has specified optimal design values. Two optimal design of MR damper obtained have been verified with experimental study by manufacturing and testing of the dampers.  相似文献

Thermotropic liquid‐crystalline polymers (TLCPs) have aroused considerable interest due to their attractive properties as high‐performance materials. Significant research attention has been devoted to investigating the relationship among monomer structures, syntheses and end‐use properties of TLCPs. The study reported here concerns the preparation, characterization and melt spinning of novel copolyesters containing two different flexible units together with two different aromatic units in the polymer chains. A range of copolyesters based on p‐hydroxybenzoic acid (p‐HBA), m‐hydroxybenzoic acid, p‐hydroxyphenylacetic acid and poly(ethylene terephthalate) were synthesized. The liquid crystallinity, thermal properties and degrees of crystallinity of these copolyesters were investigated using hot‐stage polarized light microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetry and wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction. Copolyester fibres were characterized using scanning electron microscopy. The copolyesters were melt‐processable, thermally stable and could be processed above their melting temperatures without degradation. The degree of crystal structure was found to depend upon the content of p‐HBA. The fibres prepared showed that polymer chains had a well‐developed fibrillar structure. Novel TLCPs containing flexible units in the main chain were synthesized and characterized. Copolyesters containing p‐HBA units ranging from 55 to 70 mol% exhibited phase‐separated liquid‐crystalline morphology, appropriate melting temperatures and high thermal stability for melt processing.
