CeO2/CoPc nanocomposites were synthesized by simple chemical method. Thermal behavior of these nanocomposites was studied by thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis. The as‐synthesized nanocomposite samples were characterized by various techniques. A decrease in band‐gap energy together with an improved absorption intensity of the composite material confirms the role of the cobalt phthalocyanine in the absorption properties of CeO2/CoPc composite. This study confirms structural modifications and extended spectral response of the synthesized CeO2/CoPc nanocomposites. The results demonstrate that CeO2/CoPc nanocomposite samples are promising materials for organic light‐emitting diodes, solar cells, and optoelectronic devices. 相似文献

Decision tree approach for classification and dimensionality reduction of electronic nose data 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
This paper presents a decision tree approach using two different tree models, C4.5 and CART, for use in the classification and dimensionality reduction of electronic nose (EN) data. The decision tree is a tree structure consisting of internal and terminal nodes which process the data to ultimately yield a classification. The decision tree is proficient at both maintaining the role of dimensionality reduction and at organizing optimally sized classification trees, and therefore it could be a promising approach to analyze EN data. In the experiments conducted, six sensor response parameters were extracted from the dynamic sensor responses of each of the four metal oxide gas sensors. The six parameters observed were the rising time (Tr), falling time (Tf), total response time (Tt), normalized peak voltage change (yp,n), normalized curve integral (CI), and triangle area (TA). One sensor parameter from each metal oxide sensor was used for the classification trees, and the best classification accuracy of 97.78% was achieved by CART using the CI parameter. However, the accuracy of CART was improved using all of the sensor parameters as inputs to the classification tree. The improved results of CART, having an accuracy of 98.89%, was comparable to that of two popular classifiers, the multilayer perceptron (MLP) neural network and the fuzzy ARTMAP network (accuracy of 98.89%, and 100%, respectively). Furthermore, as a dimensionality reduction method the decision tree has shown a better discrimination accuracy of 100% for the MLP classifier and 98.89% for the fuzzy ARTMAP classifier as compared to those achieved with principle component analysis (PCA) giving 81.11% and 97.78%, and a variable selection method giving 92.22% and 93.33% (for the same MLP and fuzzy ARTMAP classifiers). Therefore, a decision tree could be a promising technique for a pattern recognition system for EN data in terms of two functions; as classifier which is an optimally organized classification tree, and as dimensionality reduction method for other pattern recognition techniques. 相似文献

Recent developments in fluid dynamics have been focusing on nanofluids, which preserve significant thermal conductivity properties and magnify heat transport in fluids. Classical nanofluid studies are generally confined to models described by partial differential equations of an integer order, where the memory effect and hereditary properties of materials are neglected. To overcome these downsides, the present work focuses on studying nanofluids with fractional derivatives formed by differential equations with Caputo time derivatives that provide memory effect on nanofluid characteristics. Further, heat transfer enhancement and boundary layer flow of fractional Maxwell nanofluid with single-wall and multiple walls carbon nanotubes are investigated. The Maxwell nanofluid saturates the porous medium. Also, buoyancy, magnetic, electric, and heating effects are considered. Governing continuity, momentum, and energy equations involving Caputo time-fractional derivatives reduced nondimensional forms using suitable dimensionless quantities. Numerical solutions for arising nonlinear problems are developed using finite difference approximation combined with L1 algorithm. The influence of involved physical parameters on flow and heat transfer characteristics is analyzed and depicted graphically. Our simulations found out that surface drag of Maxwell nanofluid with single-walled carbon nanotubes dominates nanofluids with multiple walls carbon nanotubes, but the reverse trend is noticed for larger Grashof number values. 相似文献

The 37-kDa recombinant protein Asp f 2, encoding an allergen of Aspergillus fumigatus, was expressed in a prokaryotic expression system and immunologically evaluated for its functional and structural properties. The open reading frame for a 310-amino-acid-long protein was shown to encode a signal peptide of 31 amino acids. A native 37-kDa culture filtrate protein and a 55-kDa mycelial glycoprotein (gp55) exhibited complete N-terminal sequence homology to Asp f 2. A GenBank search for homologous proteins revealed 60 and 44% sequence homologies to the cytosolic protein ASPND1 from Aspergillus nidulans and fibrinogen binding protein from Candida albicans, respectively. The glycosylation sites and cysteine molecules are conserved in all the three proteins. The extracellular matrix protein laminin showed a dose-dependent interaction with Asp f 2. This protein, expressed as a major cell-associated protein within 24 h of in vitro fungal culture, comprises 20 to 40% of total fungal protein. Furthermore, both native and recombinant Asp f 2 exhibited specific immunoglobulin (IgE) binding with allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) and cystic fibrosis-ABPA patients, whereas A. fumigatus-sensitized allergic asthma and normal control subjects failed to show IgE binding with Asp f 2. These results indicate that Asp f 2 is a major allergen of A. fumigatus exhibiting IgE antibody binding with sera from patients with ABPA. The antigen should be explored further for its potential role in the differential diagnosis of A. fumigatus-associated allergic diseases. 相似文献

A novel way of feeding single-layer microstrip patch antennas using electromagnetically coupled microstrip-T junctions is proposed. The measured isolation and 10 dB bandwidth of an X-band dual polarised antenna are /spl sim/32 dB and 2.1%, respectively, on an /spl epsiv//sub r/ 3.0 substrate. The effect of globulin fraction with a lysine: arginine (lys:arg) ratio 0.67, isolated from sesame (Sesamum Indicum) seeds on cholesterol metabolism was studied in rats fed cholesterol free and cholesterol containing diet and compared with casein (lys:arg ratio-2.0). Rats fed sesame seed globulin showed significantly lower concentrations of cholesterol in the serum and aorta. The decrease in serum was manifested in both HDL and LDL + VLDL fractions. There was increased cholesterogenesis in the liver as was evident from increased incorporation of labeled acetate into cholesterol and increased activity of 3-Hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-CoA (HMG-CoA) reductase. Increased hepatic diversion of cholesterol to bile acid synthesis and increased fecal excretion of bile acids and sterols were also observed in rats fed sesame seed globulins. Rats fed sesame globulins also showed significantly higher activity of lipoprotein lipase in the heart and adipose tissue and that of plasma Lecithin: cholesterol acyltransferase (LCAT).
