The effect of SO2 gas was investigated on the activity of the photo-assisted selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen monoxide (NO) with ammonia (NH3) over a TiO2 photocatalyst in the presence of excess oxygen (photo-SCR). The introduction of SO2 (300 ppm) greatly decreased the activity of the photo-SCR at 373 K. The increment of the reaction temperature enhanced the resistance to SO2 gas, and at 553 K the conversion of NO was stable for at least 300 min of the reaction. X-ray diffraction, FTIR spectroscopy, thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), elemental analysis and N2 adsorption measurement revealed that the ammonium sulfate species were generated after the reaction. There was a strong negative correlation between the deposition amount of the ammonium sulfate species and the specific surface area. Based on the above relationship, we concluded that the deposition of the ammonium sulfate species decreased the specific surface area by plugging the pore structure of the catalyst, and the decrease of the specific surface area resulted in the deactivation of the catalyst.  相似文献

A side-chain liquid-crystalline polymer (LCP) was synthesized by the addition of the mesogenic monomer to poly(methyl siloxane) in presence of a Pt-catalyst. When an aqueous solution of 10wt% ethanol was permeated through a LCP membrane by pervaporation at various temperatures, the permeation rate increased with increasing temperature and drastically changed at glass-nematic (Tg) and nematic-isotropic (TNI) transition temperatures of the LCP membrane. The LCP membrane exhibited the waterpermselectivity in the glassy and liquid-crystalline states. The ethanol concentration in the permeate increased with increasing permeation temperature and the LCP membrane changed from the waterpermselectivity to the ethanol-permselectivity around TNI. These results suggested that the permselectivity was influenced by the change of the LCP membrane structure, that is, its state transformation. It was found that a balance of the orientation of mesogenic groups and flexibility of siloxane chains is very important for the permeability and selectivity.  相似文献

A specific colony of Wistar rats was found in which the common carotid artery bifurcates at an unusually caudal position, thereby the carotid sinus nerve that originates from the bifurcation is elongated. The present study was done to determine whether this elongated nerve carries baro- and chemosensations in the same manner as the carotid sinus nerve of conventional rats or of other species. In chloralose-urethane anesthetized rats of this specific colony, the afferent discharges were recorded from the elongated carotid sinus nerve in response to a phenylephrine-induced rise in blood pressure and a fall in oxygen tension, as well as an increase in carbon dioxide tension in the respiratory gas. Reflex effects of electrical stimulation of the nerve were also examined. In nerve recording, the afferent discharges of the elongated carotid sinus nerve were increased by any of the perturbations, hypertensive, hypoxic or hypercapnic. Electrical stimulation of the elongated carotid sinus nerve caused an initial rise and a subsequent fall in blood pressure, bradycardia, and an increase of respiratory volume and rate. These results confirmed that the elongated carotid sinus nerve of rats in this colony contains both baroreceptor and chemoreceptor afferent fibers. It seems that this colony of rats proffers a beneficial material which will facilitate the studies to analyze the features and reflex functions of carotid body chemoreceptors and/or carotid sinus baroreceptors.  相似文献

Melting temperature of a film biaxially stretched in one step in air at 152 or 140°C increases with increase of vA, whereas heat of fusion and density decrease with increase of vA, where vA is the degree of stretching in area. The rapid decrease in density occurs for vA > 10. Extrapolation of the plot of the density versus vA?1/2 gives a value of 0.870 g/cm3 at infinite vA, which has been reported as the amorphous density of isotactic polypropylene by Farrow. This is so because the fine structure of the film becomes more and more amorphous with further stretching and reaches completely amorphous state at infinite vA. The temperature of stretching has a strong effect on the thermal behavior of a film; a low stretching temperature (140°C) brings about lower melting temperature, heat of fusion, and density. Crystallinity after melt press has not so large an effect on the melting behavior as the stretching temperature. Melting temperature and the shape of the thermogram also depend on the heating rate. There is an appropriate heating rate depending on vA which gives the minimum melting temperature. With stretched samples, a small side peak or a shoulder appears at a relatively low temperature in the thermogram when a high heating rate is used.  相似文献

Optimization of reduction potential for electroseparation was studied for the recovery of gold, copper, and lead from acidic solution. A linear sweep voltammetric method enabled us to determine characteristic reduction potentials for each metal and the kinetics of the metal deposition indicated by current-voltage curves. In order to precipitate the metal species sequentially, reduction potentials were examined for the individual and mixed solutions of Au(III), Cu(II), and Pb(II). The three metals were reasonably well isolated from the mixed solutions such as Cu(II)/ Pb(II) and Au(III)/Cu(II)/Pb(II) in the order of the corresponding reduction potentials, in particular, the mass transfer controlled reduction potentials, obtained from linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) measurement.  相似文献

Summary Since the long-chain fatty acid sucrose diesters inevitably produced in the synthesis of monoesters are only slightly soluble in water, no important use can be found for them at the present time except as oilsoluble emulsifying agents. In order to exploit new uses we have attempted to improve their solubility in water by introducing oxyethylene radicals into the molecule. The addition reaction of ethylene oxide with the sucrose diesters was carried out in an autoclave in the presence of alkaline catalysts. With the reaction temperature maintained between 100–130° the pressure decreased as the reaction proceeded, and one to two hours were required to consume the ethylene oxide used. The addition products are yellow or orange oily materials soluble in water. Aqueous solutions showed good surface-active properties.  相似文献

Four samples of poly(ethylene terephthalate) film of various crystallinities and orientation were dyed with p-nitroaniline and disperse dyes. When these films were heated under a 2–3 × 10?3 mm Hg vacuum at a specified temperature T, the dye sublimed out of the dyed specimen. The amount (Mt/M) of sublimed dye is in linear proportion to the square root of the sublimation time, t½, where Mt and M are the amounts of dye sublimed for times t and t = ∞. The diffusion coefficient D, calculated from the slope of the above plot, is independent of the dye concentration of the film. When log D is plotted against 1/T°K over the temperature range 320–520°K, the relation is composed of two to four intersecting lines with the slope decreasing with elevation of temperature and with the breaks at about 89°–98°, 122°–135°, 155° and 175°–176°C. These breaks are the amorphous transitions: the first is the glass transition temperature Tg, the second and the fourth are the amorphous transitions corresponding to the crystalline transition points, i.e., the cold crystallization temperature and the smectic–triclinic transition temperature. With some exceptions, these amorphous transitions are found also by dilatometry and electrical conductivity measurements. The apparent activation energy for diffusion decreases from about 100 kcal/mole for the glass state to 22–24 kcal/mole for the region above 180°C. The activation energy for each region changes slightly with the size of dye molecule and the crystallinity and orientation of the film.  相似文献
