Sensors for monitoring temperature, heat flux, and thermal radiation are essential for applications such as electronic skin. While pyroelectric and thermoelectric effects are suitable candidates as functional elements in such devices, both concepts show individual drawbacks in terms of zero equilibrium signals for pyroelectric materials and small or slow response of thermoelectric materials. Here, these drawbacks are overcome by introducing the concept of thermodiffusion‐assisted pyroelectrics, which combines and enhances the performance of pyroelectric and ionic thermoelectric materials. The presented integrated concept provides both rapid initial response upon heating and stable synergistically enhanced signals upon prolonged exposure to heat stimuli. Likewise, incorporation of plasmonic metasurfaces enables the concept to provide both rapid and stable signals for radiation‐induced heating. The performance of the concept and its working mechanism can be explained by ion–electron interactions at the interface between the pyroelectric and ionic thermoelectric materials.  相似文献

The structure and luminescent properties of lightly doped CaF2:Pr crystals and Ca0.65Pr0.35F2.35 solid solution have been studied. The results demonstrate that the evolution of the emission spectra of the crystals with increasing PrF3 concentration can be understood in terms of the structural changes in the fluorite solid solutions, namely, the formation of defect clusters.  相似文献

A color-temperature compensating system with an electrically controllable liquid-crystal filter and a color sensor mounted on a video camera has been developed for color image sensing. The filter contains two guest-host liquid-crystal devices with dichroic dyes that have strong light absorption for shorter-wavelength light; two devices are necessary because of the spectral difference between the sun and an incandescent lamp as light sources. The filter's absorption is continuously controlled by the voltage applied to the filter. Because the filter is driven according to spectral information about the illumination detected by the color sensor, the color balance of the video image to be sensed can be compensated automatically and rapidly. This is especially useful for video image shooting in which a video camera experiences changes in illumination color temperatures.  相似文献

Electrically conductive elastomeric nanocomposites containing carbon nanotubes (CNT) and polyaniline (PANI) are reported in the present investigation. The synthesis procedure included an in situ inverse emulsion polymerization of aniline doped with dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid (DBSA) in the presence of CNT and dissolved styrene‐isoprene‐styrene (SIS) block copolymer. The PANI synthesis step was carried out by applying ultrasonic energy. The dispersions obtained were processed by two methods: a recently developed precipitation‐filtration procedure, and a conventional drop‐cast procedure. The techniques developed resulted in homogeneous exfoliated PANI coated nanotubes within the elastomeric matrix. The presence of CNT/PANI in the SIS elastomeric matrix affects thermal, mechanical, and electrical properties of the nanocomposites. The formation of continuous three‐dimensional CNT/PANI networks prepared via the precipitation‐filtration method enhances the nanocomposite properties. Contrarily, the intermittent three‐dimensional network prepared by conventional drop‐cast method leads to inferior properties. Nanocomposites produced by both techniques are observed by HRSEM. The two processing techniques result in different structures, which affect the physical properties of the materials produced. A relatively low percolation threshold for both methods was determined. The Young's modulus of the SIS/CNT/PANI significantly increased in the presence of CNT. The coupled first-order linear differential equations governing the voltage and the current on three-conductor lossy (identical) transmission lines are solved by two methods. One method is rigorous, and the other one is approximate and applies in the low- and high-frequency ranges. Although the rigorous solution is a numerical one, the approximate solution consists of explicit expressions that are easy to calculate and give physical insight into the coupling process. Experimental results that are available for two parallel identical lossy wires of finite length situated above a perfectly conducting ground (when only one of the wires is driven by a source) and previously published theoretical results compare satisfactorily with the results obtained by the two methods.<>  相似文献

A simple model for weakly coupled lossy transmission lines of finite length has recently been proposed by Olsen (1984). He derived a simple formula for the coupling voltage on a load situated at one extremity of the undriven wire. The importance of the coupling due to losses on this voltage with respect to the coupling due to capacitance and inductance is investigated in this paper. It is found that only in a special case, called the resonance matching case, is the role of the losses dominant in the coupling process. This case is characterized by the condition that the characteristic impedance of the wires squared by equal to the product of two loads ZLG and Z 0R situated at opposite ends of the driven and the undriven wire  相似文献
