The extraction equilibria of various di- and tripeptides with di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid (D2EHPA) were studied at low pH values. The complex extracted to organic phase consisted of one molecule of peptide and two molecules of D2EHPA dimer. The extraction constants of the peptides correlated well with the distribution coefficients of peptides between 1-octanol and water, which is a measure of hydrophobicity. The permeation rates of peptides through an emulsion liquid membrane were examined by using D2EHPA as a carrier, Span 80 as an emulsifier and kerosene as a diluent. The rates varied considerably with peptide type, depending upon the hydrophobicity.  相似文献

Phenol novolac/poly (4-hydroxyphenylmaleimide) (PHPMI) blends were used as an epoxy resin hardener. The curing behavior of the above system and the thermal and mechanical properties of the cured epoxy resin were studied. It was not necessary to use a curing accelerator for this system, because PHPMI caused acceleration of the curing reaction. The curing mechanism of this system was investigated by using model compounds. Test pieces from the neat resins and the glass fiber reinforced resins were evaluated in terms of thermal and mechanical properties, respectively. It was found that heat resistance and mechanical properties were improved by increasing the amount of PHPMI in the hardener.  相似文献

The codeword error rate (WER) performance of noncoherent frequency-shift keying with soft decision decoding of block codes using Chase's second algorithm (1972) is investigated in a Rayleigh fading channel. The received signal envelope is sampled and used as channel measurement information. The theoretical upper and lower bounds of the WER are derived, assuming independent Rayleigh envelope samples in a received block. When the Golay (23, 12, 7) code is used, soft decision decoding with 6-bit error correction capability (3-bit error and 3-bit erasure) requires an average signal-to-noise power ratio about 5 dB lower than that for minimum distance decoding with 3-bit error correction to obtain a WER=10-3. The effects of bit interleaving on the WER performance when fading envelope variation is slow compared to the bit rate are investigated through computer simulations  相似文献

This paper deals with a new boundary element method for analysis of the quasistatic problems in coupled thermoelasticity. Through some mathematical manipulation of the Navier equation in elasticity, the heat conduction equation is transformed into a simpler form, similar to the uncoupled-type equation with the modified thermal conductivity which shows the coupling effects. This procedure enables us to treat the coupled thermoelastic problems as an uncoupled one, A few examples are computed by the proposed BEM, and the results obtained are compared with the analytical ones available in the literature, whereby the accuracy and versatility of the proposed method are demonstrated.  相似文献

Four types of Rb-aluminosilicate zeolites were hydrothermally synthesized in pure phase for the first time from Rb-aluminosilicate gels without using any organic structure-directing agent (SDA) under stirring conditions. The crystal structure of each zeolite was refined by Rietveld analysis of the X-ray diffraction (XRD) data. These crystal structures were confirmed to be Rb-mordenite, Rb-merlinoite, a new aluminosilicate zeolite with an ATT framework topology, and Rb-offretite denoted by RMA-1, RMA-2, RMA-3, and RMA-4, respectively. The Si/Al ratio of RMA-1 with an MOR topology varied from 5.3 to 8.0; however, the variation of the Si/Al ratios of the other zeolites was rather small. The crystal system of RMA-2 was tetragonal with space group I4/mmm, where two Rb sites were distributed at the center of an 8-membered ring (MR). On the other hand, two Rb sites in RMA-3 were located at the center of the 8-MR in small two cages. The structure of RMA-4 was identified as the OFF type with a local disorder or defect, which included a small amount of an intergrown ERI phase.  相似文献

Investigates bit error rate (BER) performance of a GMSK frequency detection system. The channel measurement information (CMI) for a bit in the received block is calculated from samples of the received signal envelope (R/sub s/) and the demodulator output (eye level). Calcium is the most important in-situ catalyst for gasification of US coal chars in O2, CO2 and H2O. It is a poor catalyst for gasification of chars by H2. Potassium and sodium added to low-rank coals by ion exchange and high-rank coals by impregnation are excellent catalysts for char gasification in O2, CO2 and H2O. Carbon monoxide inhibits catalysis of the CH2O reaction by calcium, potassium and sodium; H2 inhibits catalysis by calcium. Thus injection of synthesis gas into the gasifier will inhibit the CH2O reaction. Iron is not an important catalyst for the gasification of chars in O2, CO2 and H2O, because it is invariably in the oxidized state. Carbon monoxide disproportionates to deposit carbon from a dry synthesis gas mixture (3 vol H2 + 1 vol CO) over potassium-, sodium- and iron-loaded lignite char and a raw bituminous coal char, high in pyrite, at 1123 K and 0.1 MPa pressure. The carbon is highly reactive, with the injection of 2.7 kPa H2O to the synthesis gas resulting in net carbon gasification. The effect of traces of sulphur in the gas stream on catalysis of gasification or carbon-forming reactions by calcium, potassium, or sodium is not well understood at present. Traces of sulphur do, however, inhibit catalysis by iron.  相似文献

This paper concerns the theoretical interpretation of the results of a previous experimental study of the sedimentation of oxidized fine aluminum and iron particles in waste kerosene under the influence of an electric field. Following the Kynch analysis of the mode of gravity sedimentation, a modified particle volume flux is introduced to compensate for the effect of the electric field strength. It is shown that if the local electric field strength at the settling interface is used as the true driving force for electrophoretic sedimentation, the settling curves can be predicted with reasonable accuracy, provided that electrical heating effects and consequent temperature changes in the system are taken into account.Some theoretical aspects of the effects of dielectric polarization on settling are also discussed and illustrated qualitatively by the experimental data. Finally, some of the factors which might be expected to affect the energy efficiency of a particle separator operating by electrophoretic sedimentation are considered.  相似文献
