Kinetics of Parallel Cooperative Growth of Double-Phase Lamellar Structures

Problems of growth of colonies of double-phase lamellar structures are analyzed. In contrast to standard approaches, this growth is considered from the standpoint of a double-stage process that allows for action of the entire set of actual driving and counter-driving forces of the structural components (including triple grain junctions) of the common crystallization front.     

Process of Manufacturing Sheet High-Temperature Metal Composites by the Method of Pulse Welding

The problems of optimization of the process of manufacturing quality sheet high-temperature metal composites by the method of pulse welding with the use of various matrices and refractory fibers are considered. The high-temperature mechanical properties of the obtained materials and the results of tests of thin-wall metallocomposites of uncooled nozzles of rocket engines are presented.
