We review herein the key mechanistic and kinetic features of the reactions involved in the NH3-NO/NO2 SCR system investigated by dynamic reactive experiments over a V-based commercial powdered catalyst, eventually leading to the proposal of an original redox scheme which accounts for stoichiometry, selectivity and intrinsic kinetics of the global SCR process.  相似文献

Cases of pipeline damage caused by landslides are common in coastal or mountainous regions, where a continuous monitoring/repair activity is planned in order to maintain their serviceability. The analysis of the soil–structure interaction phenomenon can be invoked to improve the planning and design of buried pipelines, to guide monitoring, and to reduce the risk of damage or failure. Two different approaches are considered in this paper: small scale laboratory tests and numerical simulations using the distinct element method (DEM). The experimental setup consists of a box filled with sand and water. Several experiments were performed, in which the diameter and the depth of the tube varied. The numerical simulations are divided in two separate series: in the first, the numerical model is calibrated and its reliability in reproducing the experimental tests is checked; in the second series, the direction of the relative displacement between the tube and the surrounding “numerical soil” varies over the range ±90° with respect to the horizontal. In the latter, both vertical and horizontal components of the drag force are measured and the corresponding interaction diagrams are constructed. The DEM simulations provide useful information about the shape of the failure mechanisms and the force transfer within the soil.  相似文献

The NO2-SCR reaction is studied by transient reaction analysis over a Fe-zeolite commercial catalyst. It is proposed that the NO2-SCR reaction occurs according to a mechanism wherein surface nitrates are first formed by NO2 disproportionation, followed by their catalytic reduction to nitrogen by ammonia.  相似文献

Aging is associated with changes in physical characteristics and decline of many physiological functions. The aging process have been described by various theories, in particular the free radical theory of aging has received widespread attention. It has been accepted that the oxidative stress or damage induced by free radicals is related to aging. In this study, we determined the serum concentration of lipid peroxide and antioxidant as biomarker for aging. Healthy subjects were classified into 3 groups, elderly (65-), middle-aged (40-64) and young group (20-39). Findings in the elderly were as follows: 1. Lipid peroxides in the elderly group were significantly higher than those in the young group. 2. Preventive antioxidant concentrations of superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and albumin were lower than those in the young group, but ceruloplasmin values increased and catalase activity was unchanged. 3. The total antioxidant capacity of serum was slightly decreased. 4. Superoxide generation by neutrophils while resting was significantly higher in the young group.  相似文献

The unsteady-state kinetics of the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH3 is studied over V2O5–WO3/TiO2 model catalysts by means of the transient response method. NH3 strongly adsorbs onto the catalyst surface whereas NO does not adsorb appreciably. A dynamic mathematical model based on a Temkin-type desorption process for NH3 and a SCR reaction rate with a complex dependence on the ammonia surface coverage is well suited to represent the data.  相似文献
