Summary Preparations of soluble TiCl3 catalysts by reduction of TiCl4 with some types of Grignard reagents were carried out in halogenated hydrocarbon solvents by using appropriate ethers as donor. The soluble TiCl3·MgX2·ether complex catalysts and triisobutylaluminum as co-catalyst showed high activities for the copolymerization of ethylene with propylene. It was first found that the soluble TiCl3·MgX2·ether complex catalysts enhance the activities for the copolymerizations in the same manner as solid titanium catalysts supported on MgCl2 which show high activities for homopolymerizations of olefin monomers. The copolymers obtained possessed low crystallinities. Also, the copolymers seem to contain microblock sequences and have outstandingly high tensile strength and elongation at break compared to copolymers by the conventional VOCl3/Al(Et)1.5Cl1.5 catalyst system.  相似文献

The complexity of constraints is a major obstacle for constraint-based software verification. Automatic constraint solvers are fundamentally incomplete: input constraints often build on some undecidable theory or some theory the solver does not support. This paper proposes and evaluates several randomized solvers to address this issue. We compared the effectiveness of a symbolic solver (CVC3), a random solver, two heuristic search solvers, and seven hybrid solvers (i.e. mix of random, symbolic, and heuristic solvers). We evaluated the solvers on a benchmark generated with a concolic execution of 9 subjects. The performance of each solver was measured by its precision, which is the fraction of constraints that the solver can find solution out of the total number of constraints that some solver can find solution. As expected, symbolic solving subsumes the other approaches for the 4 subjects that only generate decidable constraints. For the remaining 5 subjects, which contain undecidable constraints, the hybrid solvers achieved the highest precision (fraction of constraints that a solver can find a solution out of the total number of satisfiable constraints). We also observed that the solvers were complementary, which suggests that one should alternate their use in iterations of a concolic execution driver.  相似文献

Summary Dehalogenation polycondensations of 2,7-dibromo-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene with isolated zero-valent nickel complex and electrochemically generated zero-valent nickel complex afford -conjugated poly(9,10-dihydrophenanthrene-2,7-diyl). The electrochemically synthesized polymer is obtained as a thin film on electrode, and shows a reversible electrochemically doping-undoping cycle in an oxidation region. Osteoporosis is a common bone disease, particularly in menopausal women. Herein, we screened four Kampo medicines (Unkeito (UKT), Kamishoyosan (KSS), Kamikihito (KKT), and Ninjinyoeito (NYT)), frequently used to treat menopausal syndromes, for their effects on receptor activator of nuclear factor-kappaB ligand (RANKL)-induced osteoclast differentiation in RAW 264 cells. Considering that UKT exhibited the most potent effect, we examined its effect on RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis, the induction of osteoclast apoptosis, and the mechanisms underlying its effects. UKT inhibits RANKL-induced osteoclast differentiation in the early stage and decreases osteoclast-related genes, including tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (Trap), dendritic cell-specific transmembrane protein (Dcstamp), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (Mmp9), and cathepsin K (Ctsk). Specifically, UKT inhibits the nuclear factor of activated T cells 1 (NFATc1), which is essential for osteoclastogenesis. UKT increases Bcl6, which antagonizes NFATc1 and Dc-stamp, thereby blocking the progression of osteoclasts to maturation. UKT also decreased nuclear translocation by downregulating the activity of p65/NF-κB. In addition, UKT enhances mononuclear osteoclast apoptosis via activation of caspase-3. Herein, we demonstrate that UKT suppresses RANKL-mediated osteoclastogenesis via the Blimp1–Bcl6 and NF-κB signaling pathways and enhances mononuclear osteoclast apoptosis. Furthermore, UKT prevents bone loss in OVX mice. Thus, UKT might be a potential therapeutic agent for postmenopausal osteoporosis.  相似文献

The phase field crystal (PFC) method is anticipated as a new multiscale method, because this method can reproduce physical phenomena depending on atomic structures in metallic materials on the diffusion time scale. Although the PFC method has been applied to some phenomena, there are few studies related to evaluations of mechanical behaviors of materials by appropriate PFC simulation. In a previous work using the PFC method, tensile deformation simulations have been performed under conditions where the volume increases during plastic deformation. In this study, we developed a new numerical technique for PFC deformation simulation that can maintain a constant volume during plastic deformation. To confirm that the PFC model with the proposed technique can reproduce appropriate elastic and plastic deformations, we performed a series of deformation simulations in one and two-dimensions. In one- and two-dimensional single-crystal simulations, linear elastic responses were confirmed in a wide strain rate range. In bicrystal simulations, we could observe typical plastic deformations due to the generation, annihilation and movement of dislocations, and the interaction between the grain boundary and dislocations. Moreover, the deformation behaviors of a nanopolycrystalline structure at high temperature were simulated and the intergranular deformations caused by grain rotation and grain boundary migration were reproduced.  相似文献

We investigate deformation-induced martensitic transformation behavior in cold-rolled and cold-drawn specimens of type 316 stainless steel. Deformation-induced martensite preferentially nucleates at the twin boundary between the austenite matrix and a deformation twin. In the cold-rolled specimen, martensite formed at the twin boundary has a Kurdjumov–Sachs (K–S) relationship with both the austenite matrix and the deformation twin (“double K–S relationship”). In the cold-drawn specimen, two kinds of deformation twins with different twin planes are typically formed, and therefore deformation-induced martensites are formed where the deformation twin boundaries intersect: martensite thus has an imperfect “triple K–S relationship” with the austenite matrix and the two deformation twins. The complicated crystallographic orientation relationship between austenite and martensite grains strongly restricts the formation of some variants of deformation-induced martensites. Because of the difference in number of nucleation sites in the cold-drawn and cold-rolled specimens, martensitic transformation is more enhanced in the former than in the latter.  相似文献

Characteristics of a pulse corona reactor driven by an inductive energy storage (IES) pulsed power generator are described in this paper with focusing on the influence of streamer-to-glow transition on NO removal efficiency. A pulsed high voltage with a short rise time of under 30 ns is employed to generate streamer discharges homogeneously in whole the discharge region. Fast recovery diodes are used as semiconductor opening switch (SOS) to shorten the rise time. The various resistors are employed as dummy load to clarify a suitable circuit parameter such as the capacitance of a primary energy storage capacitor and/or the inductance of a secondary energy storage inductor. The energy transfer efficiency of the pulsed power generator has a maximum value of 50% at 714 Omega dummy load resistance. A co-axial cylinder type discharge chamber was used as the corona discharge plasma reactor driven by the IES pulsed power generator. The pulsed power generator supplies 30 kV pulse with 300 pps repetition rate. The co-axial cylinder plasma reactor consists of 1 mm diameter tungsten wire and 19 mm i.d. copper tube with 30 cm length. NO removal from the simulated diesel engine exhaust gas (N2:O2=9:1, Initial NO concentration=200 ppm) increased with input energy into the reactor. The energy efficiency for NO removal was obtained to be 25 g/kWh at 30 % removal in gas flow rate of 2 L/min. However, the energy efficiency decreased to 5 g/kWh with increasing capacitance of the primary capacitor from several hundreds pF to several nF. This decrease was caused by a streamer-to-glow transition. The efficiency was affected by oxygen concentration in the gas mixture.  相似文献

This paper proposes an electromyographic (EMG) prosthetic hand that has five independently driven fingers, a flexion drive, and a force-magnification drive. The flexion drive allows for rapid finger motion, and the force-magnification drive allows for a firm grasp. To realize the natural feeling of control similar to that of movements with nonamputated parts, the control system includes the impedance model of human forearms and utilizes the muscle contraction level extracted from a user’s EMG signals. We experimentally verified that the maximum fingertip force of the hand exceeds 20 N, and the time required to fully close the hand by the flexion drive is 0.53 s. We also experimentally verified that in response to EMG signals, the fingers can flex smoothly and the grasping force can be modulated. Furthermore, we show that taking EMG signals as inputs makes it possible to control six operations, including ones that use the five fingers in distinctive ways.  相似文献

Among the innovative reactor concepts, CANDLE has several advantages over conventional reactor designs. However, when CANDLE is extended to long life, the clad integrity at high neutron fluence, the build-up of fission product gases, and the pressure drop for long cores pose technological challenges which have to be overcome. In this paper, we propose practically viable design procedures, such as recladding the entire fuel pins and replacement of different amounts of fuel at different radial positions, to ensure clad integrity and flat power distribution, respectively. We demonstrate the efficacy of such design procedures by calculations that are performed on a LBE CANDLE reactor. Our calculations show that for a reactor operation period of 3700 days the various reactor parameters are within the limits proposed by Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA).  相似文献
