Perfection of methodical approaches to designing vaccines against tick-borne encephalitis

Nine female patients with a urethral diverticulum were admitted to our center over a six period: The clinical symptomatology was not specific. The diagnosis has been performed by voiding and retrograde cysto-uretrogram. The surgical treatment consisted in the excision of the diverticula, with the patient in the supine position. No perioperative morbidity was observed.     

Prevalence and risk factors in serous arthritis in the carpal joint of Norwegian coldblooded trotters

Of 508 four-year-old coldblooded trotters examined for carpitis, 135 (27%) had the condition. Thirty horses had unilateral carpitis on the left frontlimb, 52 on the right frontlimb and 53 had bilateral carpitis. Of these horses, 105 were stallions, 135 were geldings and 269 were mares. The prevalence of carpitis in these three groups was 25%, 25% and 28%, respectively. Information was obtained on the training regimes in four periods of the life of 378 horses. The odds ratios for the training variables were of the same order in all four periods. In logistic regression analyses on the training variables for the first period for the variable percentage of carpitis within each progeny group (sire index), the odds ratio corresponding to a 10% increase in sire index was 1.7 (1.4, 2.1) (95% confidence interval of the odds ratio). The odds ratios for leaving the horses out in a paddock, walking in a jogcart and fast training, or not in each case, were 0.4 (0.2, 0.9), 2.5 (1.2, 5.3) and 2.0 (0.9, 4.4), respectively. This implies a decreased risk of developing carpitis for horses left out in a paddock as a two-year-old, and a 2.5 and 2.0 times increased risk of carpitis occuring in horses exposed to walking in a jogcart and fast training, respectively. Information on the feeding regimes during the first, second and third year collected by a questionnaire revealed no association with carpitis beyond that which could be ascribed to chance. The rations offered were within normal ranges except for calcium, which was below recommended levels.

弱酸性条件起始合成MUF树脂工艺研究

为了开发一种新的在"弱酸—弱碱—弱酸—弱碱"条件下合成三聚氰胺-尿素-甲醛树脂(MUF)的工艺,对弱酸性条件下起始合成MUF工艺进行研究.探讨了在不同酸性阶段加入的三聚氰胺对脲醛树脂性能的影响,找出最佳的三聚氰胺改性脲醛树脂的合成工艺.在最佳工艺基础上,评价三聚氰胺用量对MUF树脂性能的影响以及对胶合板性能的影响,并对MUF树脂和普通脲醛树脂进行红外分析.结果证明:三聚氰胺在甲醛与尿素一次缩聚之后加入,对脲醛树脂改性效果最好,其胶合板湿剪切强度与甲醛释放量之间达到较好平衡,胶合板甲醛释放量为0.63mg/L,湿剪切强度为1.03MPa.红外谱图分析表明:三聚氰胺分子以亚甲基与脲醛树脂分子链相连并有可能嵌入脲醛树脂分子链中,形成一定数量的醚键,使三聚氰胺在脲醛树脂中真正起到骨架作用.     

Performance analysis for range expansion in heterogeneous networks

In this paper, the uplink and downlink performance of a two-tier heterogeneous network （HetNet） with range expansion （RE） is analyzed. Different from previous works, base stations （BSs） are modeled as a spatial Poisson point process. This model can not only capture the irregularity of the BS deployment but also lead to closed form expressions. With the analytical results, the impacts of several key parameters on the coverage and throughput performance are investigated. Our results justifies the effectiveness of RE and Pico deployment. Based on our analyses, certain attention should be made on the RE design to balance the uplink and downlink performance. Our analyses are corroborated by simulations and can thus serve as a flexible and quick guidance for system design without complicated and time-consuming system-level platform construction and simulation.     

Bioleaching of pyrrhotite by Sulfobacillus thermosulfidooxidans

The bioleaching of pyrrhotite was investigated using Sulfobacillus thermosulfidooxidans.The effects of pH,pulp concentration,inoculation amount,external addition of ferrous and ferric ions were examined.The pH is found to exert a profound effect on the leaching process for controlling the bacterial activity and precipitation of ferric ions mainly as jarosite.The results show that low pulp content increases the leaching rate of iron.The inoculation amount from 1×107 cell/mL to 1×108 cell/mL has positive effects on the leaching rate.The results also imply that addition of ferrous sulfate（1 g/L） is required for the bacteria to efficiently drive the extraction of iron,however,the leaching efficiency has no obvious enhancement when 2 g/L ferrous sulfate was added.Comparatively,addition of ferric sulfate（2 g/L） significantly inhibits the bioleaching process.At the end of bioleaching,jarosite and sulfur are observed on the surface of pyrrhotite residues by using XRD and SEM.With the passivation film formed by jarosite and sulfur,the continuous iron extraction is effectively blocked.

异地迁建独立学院面临着环境变化、发展空间限制等诸多问题和挑战。本文从生态学的角度对其发展中存在的问题进行了分析,并提出实现可持续发展的对策,即错位竞争,寻求适合独立学院自身发展的生态位;建立区域性大学教育生态圈,实现独立学院生态系统的动态平衡;实现与地方的共生和协同进化。
