The last decade has witnessed an excessive demand for mobile traffic. Though, fifth generation (5G) networks are in the initial phase of deployment and have wide capabilities and noble features to meet the data thrust up to some extent, it’s time to think beyond 5G systems. It is being expected that next generation wireless system (6G) will entirely be automated and intelligent, and will be ubiquitous and ultra-high reliable towards connectivity to large number of devices. This paper aims towards discussing stringent requirements while focusing on key expected technologies that may shape the 6G networks. Various applications of 6G communications are then briefly outlined. At the end, paper also discusses the potential challenges for achieving the goal. These discussions will definitely open up the horizon for future research directions.

In the present study, the passive technique of heat transfer in which single pass and double passes are included in a simple U-tube heat exchanger is analyzed. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD)-based parametric analysis is carried out to optimize the parameters affecting the temperature drop and heat transfer achieved from the U-tube heat exchanger. ANSYS Fluentv20 is used for the CFD analysis, and the RNG k-ɛ model and energy equation were considered to define the turbulence and heat transfer phenomena. The Taguchi method is used to formulate the experimental work and analyze the working parameters of the U-tube heat exchanger, such as hot and cold mass flow rate and hoRenew Energyt inlet temperature and cold inlet temperature. For the U-tube heat exchanger, four operating parameters are considered at four different levels in the Taguchi method. The best combination of parameters for achieving a maximum temperature drop is A4B1C2D3, and it is A3B4C1D2 in case of heat transfer. A U-tube single-pass heat exchanger is more effective as compared with other U-tube heat exchangers (zero- and double-pass). Experimental results are provided to validate the suitability of the purpose of the approach.  相似文献

In this paper, overall thermal energy and exergy analysis has been carried out for different configurations of hybrid photovoltaic thermal (PVT) array. The hybrid PVT array (10.08 m × 2.16 m) is a series and parallel combinations of 36 numbers of PV modules. A one-dimensional transient model for hybrid PVT array has been developed using basic heat transfer equations. On the basis of this transient model, an attempt has been made to select an appropriate hybrid PVT array for different climatic conditions (Bangalore, Jodhpur, New Delhi, and Srinagar) of India. On the basis of high grade energy (i.e. overall exergy gain), case-III has been selected as the most appropriate configuration because overall exergy for case-III is 12.9% higher than case-II. The overall thermal energy and exergy gain for Bangalore is 4.54 × 104 kW h and 2.07 × 104 kW h respectively which is highest in comparison to the other cities.  相似文献
