Lithium zirconium phosphate (LiZr2P3O12) thin films have been prepared on platinized silicon substrates via a chemical solution deposition approach with processing temperatures between 700°C and 775°C. Films that were subject to a single high-temperature anneal were found to crystallize at temperatures above 725°C. Crystallization was observed in films annealed after each deposited layer at 700°C and above. In both cases, grain size was found to increase with annealing temperature. Ion conductivity was found to increase with annealing temperature in singly annealed films. In per-layer annealed films ion conductivity was found to initially increase then decrease with increasing annealing temperature. A maximum ion conductivity of 1.6 × 10−6 S/cm was observed for the singly annealed 775°C condition, while a maximum ion conductivity of 5.8 × 10−7 S/cm was observed for the 725°C per-layer annealed condition. These results are consistent with an increasing influence of cross-plane, internal interface resistance and vapor phase carrier loss in the per-layer annealed samples. This work demonstrates that post-deposition processing methods can strongly affect the ion conducting properties of LiZr2P3O12 thin films.  相似文献

Quenching stress arises within a thermally sprayed splat as its thermal contraction after solidification is constrained by the underlying solid. Dependence of the quenching stress in plasma-sprayed deposits of Ni-20Cr alloy and alumina on the substrate temperature during spraying was discussed in conjunction with the change in the nature of the interlamellar contact between splats. It was found by mercury intrusion porosimetry and observation of cross sections of impregnated deposits that the interlamellar contact is improved significantly by raising the substrate temperature during deposition from 200 to 600 °C. The positive dependence of the quenching stress on the substrate temperature in this temperature range was attributed to a stronger constraint against thermal contraction of sprayed splats after solidification due to the improved contact.  相似文献

Matrix (M) and nonstructural (NS) genes of thirteen equine H3N8 and H7N7 influenza viruses were sequenced and analyzed from an evolutionary point of view. The M and NS genes of H3N8 viruses isolated between 1989 and 1993 evolved into two minor branch clusters, including isolates from Europe and the American continent, respectively. It was noteworthy to reveal that the nucleotide sequences of the M and NS genes of an earlier American strain showed highest homology to those of recent European viruses. "Frozen evolution" was observed in the M and NS genes of A/eq/LaPlata/1/88. It was also evident that the NS gene of an H7N7 virus from 1977 was very similar to that of a 1979-H3N8 virus, while the M gene was closest phylogenetically to that of the earliest H7N7 virus isolated in 1956. Furthermore, the M2 protein of A/eq/Newmarket/1/77 virus contained a carboxyl terminal deletion of three amino acids. The evolutionary rates of the M and NS genes of H3N8 equine influenza viruses were estimated to be 5.4 x 10(-4) and 5.1 x 10(-4) substitutions per site per year, respectively, which were slower than those of human viruses.  相似文献

This paper describes a method of modeling the characteristics of a singing voice from polyphonic musical audio signals including sounds of various musical instruments. Because singing voices play an important role in musical pieces with vocals, such representation is useful for music information retrieval systems. The main problem in modeling the characteristics of a singing voice is the negative influences caused by accompaniment sounds. To solve this problem, we developed two methods, accompaniment sound reduction and reliable frame selection. The former makes it possible to calculate feature vectors that represent a spectral envelope of a singing voice after reducing accompaniment sounds. It first extracts the harmonic components of the predominant melody from sound mixtures and then resynthesizes the melody by using a sinusoidal model driven by these components. The latter method then estimates the reliability of frame of the obtained melody (i.e., the influence of accompaniment sound) by using two Gaussian mixture models (GMMs) for vocal and nonvocal frames to select the reliable vocal portions of musical pieces. Finally, each song is represented by its GMM consisting of the reliable frames. This new representation of the singing voice is demonstrated to improve the performance of an automatic singer identification system and to achieve an MIR system based on vocal timbre similarity.   相似文献

We studied the parameters that may affect the analysis of the moisture content in wheat flour using infrared scales. The parameters were studied by one-factor at a time methodology and then, by full-factorial design (23). The best condition using infrared scales occurred at 120 °C, with a sample weight of 1.5 g and an exposure time to infrared radiation of 6 min. We observed the interaction effect between the three factors studied. The analysis time was 60 times lower than classical method. The optimized method for determination of the moisture content in wheat flour using infrared scales was validated to range between 9 and 17 %.  相似文献

The possibility of magnesium and its alloys in medical applications is actively investigated in these days for the realization of biodegradable metallic devices. However, the degradation behavior and mechanisms of magnesium and its alloys in physiological environment such as inside the human body have not been elucidated. In this study, we performed 14-d long immersion tests of pure magnesium (3N) in 4 kinds of physiological solutions simulating the body fluids to examine the effects of the chemical components of the body fluids on the degradation of magnesium. The degradation rate of pure magnesium was strongly influenced by the kinds of the solution used. The highest degradation rate was obtained in NaCl, followed by E-MEM, Earle's solution, and E-MEM+FBS. The average degradation rate in NaCl for 8–14 d is about 100 times larger than that in E-MEM+FBS, which is the closest solution to human blood plasma. These results show that protein adsorption and insoluble salt formation retarded magnesium degradation, whereas organic compounds such as amino acids encourage the dissolution of magnesium. Buffering the solution also influenced the degradation rate; buffering NaCl with HEPES increased the degradation rate but buffering with NaHCO3 decreased it. Based on these results, the use of appropriate solution such as E-MEM+FBS is important for in vitro evaluation of the magnesium degradation rate under the physiological environment simulating inside the human body.  相似文献

This paper proposes a power supply suitable for driving linear induction motors. The power supply consists of a voltage source inverter (VSI) and a magnetic energy recovery switch (MERS). Circuit configuration and operation principles of the power supply are described. Power factor correction by MERS can increase the output power. Technical advantages of using MERS compared with increasing the rated voltage of VSI are discussed. Some experiments with a linear induction motor were conducted. The results confirm that MERS can reduce the capacity of the VSI or increase the output with the same VSI capacity. The number of devices and magnitude of losses are evaluated on a large‐scale drive system. A half‐bridge type of MERS is provided and discussed. Abstract

Fretting fatigue behaviour of Ni-free high-nitrogen steel (HNS) with a yield strength of about 800 MPa, which was prepared by nitrogen gas pressurized electroslag remelting, was studied in air and in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS(-)). For comparison, fretting fatigue behaviour of cold-rolled SUS316L steel (SUS316L(CR)) with similar yield strength was examined. The plain fatigue limit of HNS was slightly lower than that of SUS316L(CR) although the former had a higher tensile strength than the latter. The fretting fatigue limit of HNS was higher than that of SUS316L(CR) both in air and in PBS(-). A decrease in fatigue limit of HNS by fretting was significantly smaller than that of SUS316L(CR) in both environments, indicating that HNS has better fretting fatigue resistance than SUS316L(CR). The decrease in fatigue limit by fretting is discussed taking into account the effect of friction stress due to fretting and the additional influences of wear, tribocorrosion and plastic deformation in the fretted area.  相似文献

In this paper, a model estimating the time-dependent distribution of cluster size consisting of fine particles in Newtonian molten polymer was proposed. The present model for agglomerative suspension was developed based on Usui’s thixotropy model, derived by taking the balance between shear breakup, shear coagulation and Brownian coagulation processes. The analysis was applied to the experimental results for silica/(ethylene methyl-meta acrylate copolymer) suspensions. The time variations of cluster size distributions, of viscosities and of the mean numbers of particles in a cluster were calculated and the results were compared with experimental results for the cases of shear rates from 0.2 to 10 s?1 when the solid volume fraction was set at 0.15. From the results, it was found that the present model can estimated the steady state values of the slurry viscosity and the mean particle numbers in a cluster as well as Usui’s original model. However, the model could not sufficiently express the time variation of rheological characteristics due to the over-estimation of the contribution of shear rate when the cluster size is small.  相似文献
