Abstract In this paper, we identify processes associated with “Tactical IT-Business Alignment”, illustrate four types of alignment states resulting from “strategic” and “tactical” alignment levels, and propose alignment-related managerial actions appropriate for each type. Our results are based on about 45 hours of interviews with about 30 senior, middle and junior managers from IS and other functions, and from company records, in an investigation of four organizations. 相似文献

This paper proposed a Neuro-Genetic technique to optimize the multi-response of wire electro-discharge machining (WEDM) process. The technique was developed through hybridization of a radial basis function network (RBFN) and non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II). The machining was done on 5 vol% titanium carbide (TiC) reinforced austenitic manganese steel metal matrix composite (MMC). The proposed Neuro-Genetic technique was found to be potential in finding several optimal input machining conditions which can satisfy wide requirements of a process engineer and help in efficient utilization of WEDM in industry. 相似文献

Solving non-convex economic dispatch problem with valve point effects using modified group search optimizer method 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
This paper presents a novel solution based on the group search optimizer (GSO) methodology in order to determine the feasible optimal solution of the economic dispatch (ED) problem considering valve loading effects. The basic disadvantage of the original GSO algorithm is the fact that it gives a near-optimal solution rather than an optimal one in a limited runtime period. In this paper, a new modified group search optimizer (MGSO) is presented for improving the scrounger and ranger operators of GSO. The proposed MGSO is applied on different test systems and compared with most of the recent methodologies. The results show the effectiveness of the proposed method and prove that MGSO can be applicable for solving the power system economic load dispatch problem, especially in large scale power systems. 相似文献

Response of five fungi and two bacteria to different salts of magnesium and iron for production of nanoparticles was studied. Pochonia chlamydosporium, and Aspergillus fumigatus were exposed to three salts of magnesium while Curvularia lunata, Chaetomium globosum, A. fumigatus, A. wentii and the bacteria Alcaligenes faecalis and Bacillus coagulans were exposed to two salts of iron for nanoparticle production. The results revealed that P. chlamydosporium induces development of extracellular nanoparticles in MgCl2 solution while A. fumigatus produces also intracellular nanoparticles when exposed to MgSO4 solution. C. globosum was found as the most effective in producing nanoparticles when exposed to Fe2O3 solution. The FTIR analysis of the nanoparticles obtained from Fe2O3 solution showed the peaks similar to iron (Fe). In general, the species of the tested microbes were selective to different chemicals in their response for synthesis of nanoparticles. Further studies on their characterization and improving the efficiency of promising species of fungi need to be undertaken before tapping their potential as nanonutrients for plants. 相似文献

This paper presents a new Three-Stage (THS) approach for solving Unit Commitment (UC) problem. The proposed method has a simple procedure to get at favorite solutions in a feasible duration of time by producing a primal schedule of status of units at the first step. In the second step the operating units take hourly values by doing Economic Dispatch (ED) on them via a hybrid serial algorithm of Artificial Intelligence (AI) including Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Nelder–Mead (NM) algorithms. In spite of the acceptable solutions obtained by these two stages, the presented method takes another step called the solution modification process (SMP) to reach a more suitable solution. The simulation results over some standard cases of UC problem confirm that this method produces robust solutions and generally gets appropriate near-optimal solutions. 相似文献
